Ripped off

New Duncan Edwards

Future England captain

Anymore?

His recent dip might calm a bit of hysteria, on here if nowhere else.

One of the hacks on Sky's 'Sunday Supplement' reckoned he should have been captain against Holland and if he had have done would have captained England for 'the next ten years'

Unfortunately, there was no Henry Winter to calm the half wit down.

Very good! :D

You're at it Imy.

I wonder if you'll reel in the usual fish with that Jones bait?

Ha ha dont say that my shadow Topman will appear....doh! Lol.

Seriously it is interesting if you go back to the Jones thread now and re-read the comments, 40 million player, Duncan Edwards etc etc. I said at the start he would not play CB unless there were injuries, he has played and looked shocking, he has looked better at CM.

The irony is that Evans looks a better defender and I recall the posters who did not want a united reject!

Jones has hardly been "shocking". He's made a few errors and since coming back from injury he's not been at his best... but that's probably more due to being shuffled from RB, to CM, to CB and all the way around again.

Manchester United should be careful. If they keep using Jones as a utility player his potential will not be realised and he'll end up a £17M Phil Neville/John O'Shea. Better to put him in a position and keep him there unless he's desperately needed elsewhere on the pitch.

I think it was a move too soon for Jones, he has looked out of depth and not the player he was here.

I think he did well to get out of this mess. If we had been a stable club I would have agreed. I'm not sure it's a good environment for a player of his potential to grow at the moment - as evidenced by Hoilett's alarming demise.

His recent performances suggest the transfer fee was about correct. He's undoubtedly got as much potential as any defender in the world right now, but there's no guarantee that he'll become a top player.

His full-blooded and all-action style means he's quite prone to mistakes. If he can't rid himself of those then £16-£20 million might look a bit expensive.

I think Hoilett's demise is down to himself when he first got the chance to have a run in the first team he tried hard to prove himself but recently he just looks like he cant be botherd.

The Utd fans on twitter are hysterical about him but not in a good way.

I think he has the potential to be a class player. I think he needs to find his position though.

I went to OT on a corporate do a dozen or so years ago. MU v Spurs. All I could hear all match was how Giggs was finished and needed getting rid of.

Why is your avatar of the female reproductive system? Or am I just a bit obsessed/deranged??

I think we can safely assume that you failed biology at skoo DR?
