Mattyblue
It's all fairly obvious Kelbo. When the experinced pros signed their new deals and when the likes of Vuckevic were being bought, Venky's must have had some interest. Now they are trying to strip the whole operation back as far as they possibly can.

yoda
What a bloody carry on this is, why sign a player, give him a contract based on appearances and then cant afford to play him, its like buying a car and putting it in the driveway because you cant afford the petrol!! Now I know what I would be calling people in both those cases, Idiots of the highest order, god, have all the Rao family had their brains cut out and a meat pie transplanted? Out of order! not fair on meat pies that
Brfcrule1
Funny you should mention it Kelbo I suggested to our good friend Kamy some time ago whether Mrs D has cloth for brains to which I have yet to receive an answer so it led me to the conclusion either that or the clowns have donated their brains to medical science that is the only explanation I come to when seeing some of their decisions. chaddyrovers
I may get shot down for this, but in my opinion I reckon his omission is down to an attitude problem - Everwhere the guy has been he has been dropped due to poor attitude and poor training. If Kean has been told not to play him due to money issues - why waste a place on the bench with a guy who is not going to play. I agree with u Blandy!!! I don't think it is down to contractual issue because it would be leak by the player or his agent like Roberts and Salgado did!

thenodrog
Shows what you know then.....feck all. They guy is class and Ive seen enough of him internationally and in european competition to say he's better than the shyte that get a game every week. Bit ott that. You must have a great view to judge top footballers from Manhatten Island. However I find Den always seem very knowledgeable and perceptive in most footballing matters. He's not wrong very often. No offence but 9 times out of 10 I'd take his word on a player over yours thats for sure.
Rovermatt
It begs the question of why Kean is never asked about this kind of thing in press conferences.
rebelmswar
It begs the question of why Kean is never asked about this kind of thing in press conferences. I am surprised that he is asked anything at all anymore; I honestly do not know as I haven't listened to the maniac drivel for quite awhile. The likely answer would be so outrageously optimistic and full of lies that it would be unprintable anyway.

Amo
Roberts got dropped from the squad didn't he He was benched for awhile and didn't make sub appearances IIRC, before he was nudged out of the squad. I thought Gumboots friend was going to find out from Kean why Vukcevic never plays? I expect she's swimming with the fishes as we speak.

But why should that qualify him for a place in our all-conquering side.....??

That will be why England leads the world in coaching. rebelmswar
Sod her holiday. We want to know why some Montenegrin bloke isn't playing football matches. It all adds up to treachery in my book. I rhink said Montenegrin bloke is fantastic and deserves games, Keans desire not to play him HAS to be for non footballing reasons surely.

You're a bitter man DGS. Wrong about both points above - and bitter. You haven't got over my comments very early on, when I said that I didn't think that Petrovic and Goodwillie were Premier League players. I think you quoted my comments and added "oh my god" in huge bold letters? .

Formica----not made much of an impact has he? Looks good at times in some games, never notice him in others. Hardly first pick is he? Slew-----not played at all! What you on about DGS? joey_big_nose
I don't buy the financial argument about Vukcevic. I can't see how it would make a big enough difference to warrent him not playing. Quite different to Roberts being offered a new contract which would run into the millions. Plus it would financially make sense to play him so you could hopefully sell him at the end of the season for decent money. As it stands his value is going through the floor. 92er
So, basically, nobody has any concrete info on why this bloke isn't playing. In Kean's statement to the media this week, he said that although both Simon and Rochina might be training well and believe they should be playing, they had to prove to him they were in a position to perform in the first team.
