TBTF Posted April 12, 2012 Posted April 12, 2012 We're not down yet but realistically, its not looking good as we are now getting into the realms of relying on other results going our way. I expect qpr and wigan to win another couple each and as such, I just can't see us catching them as we would need to win at least 3 of our remaining 5 and hope our GD is favourable, etc. A win on sat is imperative (given the upcoming trips to spurs and chelsea)- even a draw just won't be good enough any more. I live in hope but expect the wigan game (or maybe before as its now on a monday) will confirm our fate. Thanks a bunch for everything coco and flunkys...just who the hell have we murdered to deserve you two? The only slight glimmer of light in all this gloom is that perhaps relegation will ultimately hasten the departure of aforesaid imposters... Let's assume we are gone by the time we reach the final act at home to Wigan. Ground could well be full to witness the last prem home game in most of our lifetimes.who wouldn't put it past egghead to give us a taste of what lies in store by presenting the following starting line up Bunn,Orr,Hanley,Anderson, Henley Lowe,Dunn,Petrovic,Marcus Olsson Goodwill, Blackman Based on most of the others either wanting to leave or being given because we cant afford their wages. folks this is the reality we could all be talking about on our summer holidays.I thought selling Shearer whilst I was on my Holstein wearing his shirt was bad enough

TBTF Posted April 12, 2012 Posted April 12, 2012 God we would be lucky to hang on in the championship let alone bounce back up.I think I might even fear the 6 fingered army arriving in town with that lot representing us
Claytons Left Boot Posted April 12, 2012 Posted April 12, 2012 I have it on good authority that a Hatty Jacques look alike is booked for pre match entertainment at the Wigan home game. Her song will be a cover of Status Quo's Down Down.

Ralfinho Posted April 12, 2012 Posted April 12, 2012 with it being Titanic anniversary I thought I'd knock this little pic up
TBTF Posted April 12, 2012 Posted April 12, 2012 with it being Titanic anniversary I thought I'd knock this little pic up Brilliant work Ralf. With humour like this we will prosper!! Now they need printing and handing out to the media.I think we would get far more buy in as a group of fans by setting up a campaign based on that kind of stuff than by protests which have become old hat for them now. Can you knock up a season ticket flyer of similar quality ? I am also sure we could mock up an official team photo of how our squad will look next year and a set of Club Financial accounts!! If this kind of stuff gets any air time with the Indian media in particular i think the shaven Barry White and Anurada Winslet will hate their lives!!
bob fleming Posted April 12, 2012 Posted April 12, 2012 Simon hunt is responsible for the signings often against the wishes of kean. WTF??! If true then why the hell does he put up with it? I mean what's the bloody point? He's done his dough. I look forward to the film coming out. It'll be the footballing equivalent of Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy. One things for sure, the main objective isn't about winning football matches anymore.

I think this is the only way we can look at our current situation now, these fools have ruined our club beyond recognition so if the club is going down I want each and every fan to drag them down with us and tarnish their brand. We dont need to pull Kean down, he is doing that on his own accord. I'll see what I can do with the squad picture and any other ideas are more than welcome!!!
John Posted April 13, 2012 Posted April 13, 2012 Agree on their brand - they really hate it being tarnished hence clampdown on banners etc.
Ralfinho Posted April 13, 2012 Posted April 13, 2012 Agree on their brand - they really hate it being tarnished hence clampdown on banners etc. I wonder if we are allowed banners in after the final whistle v Wigan?
Ralfinho Posted April 13, 2012 Posted April 13, 2012 Im at it again. Just re did the predictor and this is my final table
Mercer Posted April 13, 2012 Posted April 13, 2012 Im at it again. Just re did the predictor and this is my final table Sorry to put a spoke in it but feel that QPR will have 34 points after tomorrow's visit to WBA. They are playing with conviction and are organised whilst WBA looked ragged at City, perhaps waiting for the season to ends after seeing us off last week.
lukey Posted April 13, 2012 Posted April 13, 2012 Qpr do have a seriously hard run in from here out.... Let's hope they don't pull something out the bag and get a few wins. Then we need bolton or wigan to have breakdown. And then somehow us picking up a few more points. Here's to hoping?
redroses Posted April 13, 2012 Posted April 13, 2012 Im at it again. Just re did the predictor and this is my final table Ralf hope you are right but dare i ask what results you put us down for to get to that points total. Did we have to go to chelsea and win to stay up?
EWOODACE1 Posted April 13, 2012 Posted April 13, 2012 Qpr have already shown they have fight and won un winnable games. We deserve to go down at the min. Pure and simple
Ralfinho Posted April 13, 2012 Posted April 13, 2012 Ralf hope you are right but dare i ask what results you put us down for to get to that points total. Did we have to go to chelsea and win to stay up? I put wins against Norwich & Wigan all others we loose
Athlete Posted April 13, 2012 Posted April 13, 2012 I put wins against Norwich & Wigan all others we loose at this moment in time we wont beat either ...Norwich playing excellent at the moment cracking away win at Spurs last week + Wigan the form team at the bottom at the moment , fighting for every ball ( unlike our backing off lot )
alexanders Posted April 13, 2012 Posted April 13, 2012 Que pasa Ralf? I wish we could. With another manager we probably could.
A cup of beans Posted April 13, 2012 Posted April 13, 2012 Im at it again. Just re did the predictor and this is my final table here's hoping, Ralf! to me Its clear rovers need 7 pts to survive.. If a couple of our rivals win 2 more games it's curtains! for what it's worth.. here's what I got! 16 WIGAN 35PTS 17 ROVERS 35 PTS 18 QPR 34 PTS 19 BOLTON 33 PTS 20 WOLVES 22PTS Sunderland 2-1 Wolves Swansea 1-1 Blackburn West Brom 1-0 QPR Arsenal 1-0 Wigan Blackburn 2-1 Norwich Bolton 1-1 Swansea Fulham 1-0 Wigan QPR 0-1 Tottenham Wolves 0-2 Man City Aston Villa 1-0 Bolton Sunderland 1-0 Bolton Swansea 2-0 Wolves Wigan 1-1 Newcastle Chelsea 2-0 QPR Tottenham 2-0 Blackburn Bolton 1-2 Tottenham Bolton 1-0 West Brom QPR 1-0 Stoke Wolves 1-2 Everton Blackburn 1-0 Wigan Chelsea 3-0 Blackburn Man City 2-0 QPR Stoke 1-0 Bolton Wigan 2-0 Wolves
philipl Posted April 13, 2012 Posted April 13, 2012 QPR will win at City on the final day. That is an absolute banker.
alexanders Posted April 13, 2012 Posted April 13, 2012 Bolton will beat Swans at home and why tottenham suddenly winning everything? Together with Swans they are ace on who is standing up this year. We, QPR and Bolton are playing them
EWOODACE1 Posted April 13, 2012 Posted April 13, 2012 I asked Henry winter what he thought of the medias perception of our fans and he replied @henrywinter: @EWOODACE I can't speak for rest of media but I've always found Rovers fans totally and passionately supportive of club. Venkys aren't Jack He has always been a fair journo IMO
John Posted April 13, 2012 Posted April 13, 2012 Agree Winter and possibly Martin Blackburn (of the Sun) have seen through the bull from Kean/Venky's and understand our frustrations.
Mercer Posted April 13, 2012 Posted April 13, 2012 QPR will win at City on the final day. That is an absolute banker. Philip - you have been so convinced about this result for so long that I can only think that you have contacts 'on the other side' !
