Those who sapped the spirit from the club by bringing their petty politics to match days are the ones with real blood on their hands. Achieved absolutly diddly-squat except ridicule and derision ... an absolute embarassment.

If you truely belive this my friend, you are living in the same deluded mindset as Kean.

It must be a sad place to be.

We will beat Norwich, draw at Spurs and beat Wigan (those pills are working!) and it will all be on the Chelsea game who will be flat after being spanked by Messi, not qualified for the CL via the PL and losing the FA Cup (yes I do not like Chelsea) so we win there and Coco is nominated for PL Manager of the Year, the Isle of Man put a Man on the Moon and I fail to score with a fistful of Dollars in Nana Plaza.

Very clever and well written

Now obviously I'm goin to take issue with the last verse, I've always been honest and admitted the Pune trip to be a failure but a fair amount of poetic licence is needed to citate it as a reason for our downfall. The worst that could be said is we were a tiny part of a pr junket and were ignored when it mattered.

Although others will disagree And of course are fully entitled to hold that view - eh sentient wherever you may be?

I'm not questioning your honesty, integrity and devotion to the Rovers Tom, let me make that quite clear to all on this board. Lots people thought at the time the trip would end in tears as it did. In my view it was misguided enterprise and sowed the seeds for the subsequent splitting of our fan base. Was it a contributing factor to our fall ? Only time will tell, I'll leave you and everyone else to their own opinion. I wrote more in sorrow than in anger. Tyrone.

Bunkum.

Lets not forget Kean got 30 games before the grumblings started, enough time in anyone’s book ES.

The only people with 'blood on their hands' are the owners, Kean and Agnew, I'm surprised you're still throwing out such lines, you went to Pune, they lied to your face and we are where we are ;)

Thanks for the response bud and I must say again it was brilliantly written and must have taken some time.

I don't personally think any of our fans are to blame in any part for what has gone on and certainly disagree that protests have also lead to our demise which some seem to me

Lets get one thing clear.None of us want to be protesting from choice. We would all much rather be dancing down Nuttall street celebrating something good.

So lets stop beating ourselves up-None of our fans are to blame for any of this no matter what sh1te we are forced to read in the press.

Venkys have put us in this mess -nobody else .It is to them that everyones venom must be directed. One focal point (the correct one) is where to vent the anger.SCUM , pure and simple.

I don't think they had a choice - how would the press have reacted if they hadn't taken up our owners kind offer ?

To be honest the Pune 9 - 10 or however many made the trip have an opportunity to create some waves. Have none of them tried contacting the press about how they were lied to - surely a story there ?

What press? It wouldn't have got two lines.

Congratulations SG194, your impersonation of an idiot is almost flawless. :D

Then do it as part of the protests ? Or were you referring to them not going ? I think we have seen enough of how the owners can manipulate the media to know it would have got more than two lines if it suited their agenda.

Jesus, I actually agree with you for once! There is a story if any of the Pune jolly boys and girls will fes up.

Form an orderly line now...... Maybe ladies first......

I've never held back in Telling my side of it and will continue to do so (although there isn't much of a story to tell I did chat briefly with David Conn about what happened out there and how I felt since our return)

Words cant do you justice Sparkfree. On the verge of being mathematically relegated and you still blame your own fans. What a complete prat.

Venkys got their moneysworth with you.

Nearly missed this 'gem' from the Private Godfrey of the Tremblers Army. Tell me old man .... did you also strop around and throw your toys out of the pram after the 1960 cup final ticket fiasco? :D

We can see you're on the windup, but come on how do you REALLY feel about this season?

Do you feel let down by the events of Poona?

You seem to be getting some strange satisfaction in WUMing an Internet message board, but you must be hurting to see 20 years of work thrown away?

Lots did, and never came back.

I was around then, and the rovers were the scum of the earth amongst some supporters.

However, this current scenario (in my mind) is much worse.

We go down and it's going to take a lot to rectify the situation.

Andy Thorn, Coventry City Manager, speaking last night after his team lost 1 - 0 to Millwall, practically sealing their relegation.

"It's disappointing but it was going to happen, we never replaced people who went out. It was always going to come down to this type of thing (relegation), like I said several months ago, if you don't replace people who go out the door this is the position you can end up in. You can't cut corners in this league and we've done that on a big style, we've tried to cut corners, and we've found out the hard way"

I'm sure the Cov fans aren't happy with Andy but at least he's telling it like it is. That last sentence is particularly telling isnt it Venkys? I'd certainly prefer a bit of honesty and a desire to accept the reality of the situation rather than the constant stream of lies that spew from Billy Bullshit and The Ewood Propaganda Machine.
