braddock Posted March 15, 2012 Posted March 15, 2012 If fans are thinking up songs to sing I suggest thinking up some songs for individual players. We didn't even get time to think of a song for Ryan Nelsen he was with us so brief Songs for some of the younger lads could really fill them with confidence and that way you aren't singing for the regime, if that is what you are against.
Ozz Posted March 15, 2012 Posted March 15, 2012 "If was a shrink, like Sigmund Freud, I'd make an appointment for AppleDroid." is always one of my favourites.

Did you think of a song for Nelsen?
braddock Posted March 15, 2012 Posted March 15, 2012 Did you think of a song for Nelsen? I thought the singing section were in charge of that stuff.
47er Posted March 15, 2012 Posted March 15, 2012 I thought the singing section were in charge of that stuff. Good to see you've changed your avatar!

Majiball Posted March 15, 2012 Posted March 15, 2012 Everyone should chant 'Braddock, Braddock give us a wave' I still reckon agnew will stand up.
braddock Posted March 15, 2012 Posted March 15, 2012 Everyone should chant 'Braddock, Braddock give us a wave' I still reckon agnew will stand up. Feed the troll and he will wave?
Mike Graham Posted March 15, 2012 Posted March 15, 2012 What about a song on the basis of: "fook off Coco Kean you lying bar steward, fook off Venkys"?
Majiball Posted March 15, 2012 Posted March 15, 2012 Feed the troll and he will wave? Judging by that cat pic, I reckon you've been fed enough for today.
super_arran Posted March 15, 2012 Posted March 15, 2012 What about a song on the basis of: "fook off Coco Kean you lying bar steward, fook off Venkys"? We've got a few of them already... How about: "we want you to stay, we want you to stayyyyy. Junior/david/whatever your name is this week Hoilett, we want you to stay"
roverwhelmed Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 I'm hoping for that lalalalalalalala-LA thing. LOVE hearing it from other clubs' fans (e.g. Spurs vs Stevenage) and really enjoyed partaking in it in the Darwen End at the Villa game. Also have been loving the 'I'll sing the blues' song.
Backroom Tom Posted March 16, 2012 Backroom Posted March 16, 2012 'You're ever so marginally worse than us it's unbelievable'
Doug Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 Just be aware that my mates (Wanderers fans) have started winding me up with.... to the tune of 'oh w@nky w'nky.... they sink 'oh Venky Venky, Venky Venky Venky Venky Rovers'!!
purplegrover Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 "At least... we're the least worst team in the bottom five And its no thanks to Kean that we're still alive..."

We didn't even get time to think of a song for Ryan Nelsen he was with us so brief Songs for some of the younger lads could really fill them with confidence and that way you aren't singing for the regime, if that is what you are against Why do you keep banging on about a Ryan Nelsen song? Da da dada Ryan Nelsen was used all the time. Not much imagination but it was sung
arbitro Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 Oh Wanky (repeat several times) Wanderers which has been sung by Rovers fans since Chicory Tip brought out Son of my Father in the early 70's. I would rather songs were sung to get behind us as opposed to trying to bait opposition fans.
AppleDroid Posted March 16, 2012 Author Posted March 16, 2012 The clapping of the hands then shouting rovers is pretty lame & boring tbh
braddock Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 I'd quite like to hear songs for Lowe, Formica, Hoilett, the Olsson twin and N'Zonzi.
J*B Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 Theres a bald bloke in the Darwen End that often sings Mauro, Mauro Formica, Our Argentine wont you score a goal for me. To the "Heartbeat" themetune. Nobody ever joins in but me, I quite like the song personally.
braddock Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 You see this is something the fans could dedicate part of their moaning time to. Think of a few for after the final whistle to vent your anger too if you will, but let's try get a decent number of songs to cheer on the lads too. You never know, it might make us a point or two. It'll sure lift the mood anyway.
braddock Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 Get into em When needed of course, but it's often a song borne out of frustraion. Any ideas for some pro-player songs? Big Sams Blue & White Army I think the Hammers will be introducing that one soon.
