Nice to see them extend the early bird offer and then let Shabba go on sky shortly after and announce Kean is staying.

I imagine the ticket office staff are overwhelmed........with returns.

They should be,otherwise I feel for the poor buggers that are going as they are going to have to suffer another relegation battle. :(

I saw this posted in a comments section and wondered what people thought about the merits of the post...

'To be honest I'm getting a little tired of the "I'm never going to Ewood again" brigade. Yes it breaks my heart as a proper supporter to see whats happened to our once proud club, but these whingers need a reality check. We were very lucky to have a benefactor like Jack Walker, he put us in a position were we could over achieve for 20 years and that's what we did. Size of town, population type of town and the tv driven wealth around football since prem league was formed all equates to us fighting a looking battle

Have all these Johnny Come Latelys forgotten being stood on the Blackburn end with gates around 6000 watching average to poor football?

If we all walk away now , we,ll be back there faster than you imagine.

Proper supporters do just that SUPPORT through thick and thin.

For christs sake less than a tenner a game, not much more than a packet of fags. Yes have a moan, go on all the protests as I will, but remember this, football fortunes are short term, things can and will change quickly, but if you,re not there , how can you have a say in it?

This is a plea from the heart of a Rovers fan who only wants the best for his beloved club as he has done for the last 38 years:-

Support the players and the club and do all in your power to get rid of the owners and their sham of a management structure.

We,ll all stand there and have a laugh at Burnleys 2000 home crowds back in 1987, but if you shun the club like you say you are going to, don,t look surprised if the tables are turned and we,re in their position within a few years.

My plea may fall on some deaf ears and its their choice at the end of the day, but just be careful what you wish for are the only words of warning I'll hand out.

Yes I've been at Ewood in crowds of 6,000 - but the club we have supported for all those years no longer exists. Back then, it involved local people who were scraping pennies together to put money into the club just to continue to pay the wages. The fans mattered. Now, it's controlled by people on another continent who are asset stripping and sucking money out of the club. The fans are treated with contempt.

That is not the club I remember from 1977, 1987, 1997, 2007.

RIP BRFC

For you and your tax-evading chums.

Romans 13:5-7:

 Sounds more like sharia law to me Jim. Converted to islamania have you? Would you prefer J'immam now?

I take it religious leaders arent allowed in then?

Whether that lot go down or up I'm more than happy to go the other way. :tu:

I wholeheartedly agree with this post, we are in serious trouble now the raokeans are the worlds worst owners the sooner we see the back of

them the better. However now is not the time to walk away from the club, they need our support more than ever. If everyone walked away

for whatever reason resulting in regular crowds of say under 10,000 we would become the laughing stock of the area, just imagine the delight

and hilarity this would cause with the dingles! It is understandable that fans are dismayed by the antics of our owners but us fans need to

stick together in these difficult circumstances and get behind the club and the team on the pitch ( whatever that may be ).

Lets show these reprobates that we will not be battered into submission by turning up to games and venting our feelings whatever they are.

That is the only way of getting over to them what we fans feel in a very public way. Sitting at home or shopping on a saturday afternoon

will do no good at all. The time will come when these loons are gone and we will still be here supporting OUR TEAM get down to the ground

and support our lads in the FAMOUS blue and white halves, better times will eventually come ,keep the faith. :angry2: RTID.

I cannot support , a corrupt regime !!!!

Ask yourself why Kean is still in the job ?, cos it is not for football reasons ...

No other club would have kept faith , with such an inept manager ...

I have had a season ticket for over 30yrs but I will not step into the ground until Kean as been sacked ...

I would watch BRFC in the conference tomorrow , if it was to rid its self of these corrupt owners and their entourage ..

Turning up on a Saturday will justify and financially reward the actions of Venkys and Kean, like many others I will not support the cancerous, odious, corrupt regime in charge at the moment, I think tough love is the only answer and if that means staying away then so be it, until we are rid of these parasites there appears to be no alternative. Additionally do you not think we have already created hilarity for our six fingered neighbours, they have been pissing themselves for 18 months, now we have super Shebby and PNE Agnew to further enhance their delight

Absolute garbage. I have renewed and cannot stand them. I am prepared to watch us drop and drop. Why? The time I started watching them was around the time we were about to go on a 'magical journey' as Blackpool would say. I wonder when the going was tough before the 90's what people used as reasons not to go.

I go as a Blackburn fan. Not a Venky funder, not as a traitor etc. Ground could be empty all season and they would use the parachute money to cover such a deficit. They do not care what YOU think. Get over it. I have. It won't stop me going.

Will be intriguing to see how many of the stay away fans return if we do have a good start, and for the derby games

Is there gonna be gimps calling us horrible nasty boys for renewing in some kind of picket at the first game? I hope so.

They'll be too busy going Stanley or Chorley or whatever team they are told to go to. So be it.
