That is what I am getting at .... his personality issues are a 'straw man' argument ... it is all about success on the field. So if he does manage to win games early next season ... what then for the non-renewers?

To be honest Ewood Spark I have friends who have not renewed simply because of Kean and Venky's. These are not fickle supporters but fans who where there in the 60s and 70s when times were really tough. However, the events of the past 18 months have proved too much for them and they have decided to stay away until Kean, at the very least, is gone. If Agnew thinks it's about winning a couple of matches and that will mean the past eighteen months will be forgotten he's simply deluding himself.

I have renewed but I have no faith that the people in charge will turn it around and I suspect many who have renewed will, like myself, still be demanding a new manager from the opening game of the season at Ipswich. In keeping Kean the one thing that the owners have guaranteed is that the unrest at Ewood Park will continue - it's just that there will be an awful lot fewer people on the ground.

I have renewed. And regardless of whether we have a winning start or not that man needs to go. I will ensure he is told regularly.

Ben, the fact is that if Kean had been successful nobody on here would have noticed his "personality traits". Look at managers like Alex Ferguson or even Kenny Dalgleish .... not endearing characters by any stretch of the imagination .... but as long as they are winning games their personalities don't come into it. Because of the poor results some non-renewers have translated Kean's lack of tactical acumen, stubbornness and positivity into descriptions such as 'scum', 'lying' or even 'evil' !! Would they have noticed these 'character defects' if we had finished top half of the table last season? If other non-renewers don't fall into this bracket .... and are staying away for purely 'football reasons' .... then perhaps Agnew was right and a winning start to the new campaign will sway those fans.

That's just pure bsh1t Spark. "personality trait"? In which way do Ferguson and Dalglish compare to Kean? Face up to it and stop going into denial. We're talking about someone who has lied to the police and the fans. We're talking about someone who weasled his way into a job he should have never been a contender for. We're talking about someone who went above the head of JW and was more than partly responsible for him leaving. We're talking about someone who tried to turn fan against fan. Personality trait my backside. Suggesting that winning a few Championship games is going to bring back thousands of fans shows a lack of understanding of the feelings against the guy.

As much as I want to make a stand I can see me wobbling come August.

I don't know if I can just cut that part of my life out, tomorrow we move to Cherry Tree, a ten minute walk from Ewood making it harder than ever.

All this would be academic for me if they just got rid of Kean

A 10 minute walk, can I have your legs please :D

I can imagine a lot of people caving in and getting a season ticket the week before the season starts...I think I'm still the only member of the FF who hasn't renewed yet and with Kean in charge I have no intension in doing so - reasons (1) he got us relegated (2) he still has the job (3) he seems to have more power even though he has shown himself totally out of his depth (4) he is a proven liar in a court of law (5) he has spun stories to the media to mis-represent the view of the fanbase (6) he has dragged the name and reputation of a very well respected football club down.

He has got away with far more than any other manager (both on and off the pitch) I can remeber and still has a job...that can't be right, which is why I won't be spending any further money with the club until he has left the club. It isn't a decision I have taken lightly and will really hurt come the first home match of the season, however I will still support the team at away matches that I can get tickets for and will purchase 1 if not 2 season tickets the day that Kean is replaced with a proven manager.

Well, they have been doing that for years (and good on em, I'd rather have the Darwen End full of away fans if we can't fill it with home fans), but it's not the case here. It's simply that that advert is being served by google, who know who you are and what your buying habits are (and are seemingly now trying to sell Abbey chickens) even if you do sneak onto other team's sites

Chicken netting to be exact ?? Ha is expect chicken nuggets , chicken ###### or with what I call them chicken porn pmsl

Genuine question .. 5 or 6th time of asking... Are you proud of what your mates have done to our club??

Also are actually on the venky/kean/sem payroll? Or do actually not see what's happened ?

I don't know what to do to be honest. No season ticket will probably mean no Burnley ticket, and that game means the world to me

Just imagine the journey home after getting hammered and blowing a proud 30+ year and I'm sure you'll find a decision much easier to arrive at.

The strategy Agnew laid out on Radio Lancashire tonight that 80% would return if they started well, 10% have already been lost and 10% will renew no matter what totally puzzled me. If they start well the season ticket prices will be higher, won't that put supporters off? Why discard the 10% who have been loyal for years and years before this invasion and why take the 10% for granted. It really was as if the supporters don't really matter to them, sad to hear but totally expected.

He' be better concentrating on his own club. Despite the city being much bigger than our town PNE hardly attract massive attendances do they? And more importantly neither did they when he was in charge.

I'll be at many away games with my " Kean and Venyks Out" t-shirt......home games not a chance until those chicken fools and rent boy Coco have gone. Not a penny more in Venkys grabbing mitts.

Granted some away grounds may not be able to cope but this is the way forward for most imo. Deserted terraces at Ewood and packed away grounds would show the press and media that BRFC fans are staunch in their support of the club whilst attracting bad publicity for the owners and denying them match day income.

Whether enough have the balls or the intellect do it remains to be seen. As for me I'd like to see this adopted and if at all possible away grounds allocating areas of seating along the sides of away grounds for the more discerning supporter and families.

I guarantee after a month or two you won't miss it Tom. Something else will take up your time.

Too many on here can't rem or have forgotten that this town only contained 6-7000 die hards in the 70's and early 80's, and that was with a far different population demography. Linger too long in the lower divisions and we will fall back to that or worse and you WILL find other better things to occupy your time.

This unfortunately is what the ###### Kumars have absolutely no inkling of, they do not yet know what they have done.

Under normal circumstances this would be pretty straightforward, under-performing manager and unhappy fans with wins he could bring them back. What you seem to be doing here (and Paul Agnew on the radio last night) is treating it as a normal situation. Steve Kean has gone past the point of no return, if people don't buy at early bird prices even after a few wins is anyone going to say I'll pay more to see the man they hate winding us up even more? The football club has become more and more detached from the community and the fans by persistence with a massive hate figure. The results over his tenure have been so unacceptable that at any normal football club he could have been sacked 4 maybe 5 times already.

If the majority of fans are only focused on results how are wins in the Championship with one of the better squads on paper to be comparable with getting a mid-table Premier League team relegated?

You might not know about his personality away from football, but thousands of supporters have been turned away from Rovers by his gestures, actions and destructive actions of his managerial career so far. Would any other club appoint him?

ES you appear to now be turning into an apologist for Kean.

Never mind the results / tactics etc just think of the amount of good people that he has knifed in the back from Williams, Finn, Goodman, Allardyce, McDonald to Nelsen, Samba etc. People who if he had not edged out would still be plying their trade in the Prem with BRFC. Just think of the loot that must be behind all this. If Kean had even a hint of self respect and pride not have cut a deal with the Slumdogs to have allowed him to resign?

Sambo, I will not be going to Ewood and giving those robbing slumdogs any money, but getting a ticket for Burnley -v- Rovers at t'Turd should not be a problem ST or not.

No wobble from me. Not even a meh! if we get promoted under the slug

More likely to be a dismall mid-table borefest for the season ticket holders to relish. i'd rather poke my finger in a plug socket

Wet, or dry?

I know what you mean but it's a balancing act isn't it?

Is it for 'the greater good' or am I biting my nose off to spite my face?

Anyone got any more cliches I could borrow?

Your morals should dictate that you dont renew. Although gutted that I will not be going next season it has not been a hard decision at all.

Under Kean a mid-table borefest is an optimistic prediction. More like back-to-back relegations followed by telling Andy Cryer it's his fault for being negative again all season.

I do not miss Ewood Park one bit. I was one of those 6-7000 die hards in the 70's and 80's along with a with a big group of lads from Leyand. Who goes now out of that group of 15 = non! I still love my

Rovers but these Venky wink merchants have destroyed it. What winds me up are these apologists (anti-tremblers) for these horrible toxic animals who own and run my Club.
