From memory the Season kicks off next month, good to see the the Ewood and Venky clowns still have to make a corporate hospitality offering. Or have they given up on the corporate £ ?

Not sure ........ but I do understand that the 'Corporate' has given up on them.

ES you appear to now be turning into an apologist for Kean. ....blah ... blah ....blah!

Bye 'eck Gord you've got more front than Blackpool prom! Just two words to say to you .... 'Lancashire' ... 'United'. Somebody who if he had his way would wipe the name 'Blackburn Rovers' from the future of English football, giving out stick to folk who actually go and support the team. The architect of a scheme so hair brained that you would have more chance of finding a Higgs Boson stuffed down the back of the sofa than finding anybody who actually supports this awful idea! You have long since lost any credibility when it comes to discussing the future of BRFC.

...........Tremblers of the world Unite!

.......What winds me up are these apologists (anti-tremblers) ........

Bad news for you d'Pressing Blue. I can tell from your recent posts that you are desperate for people to think of you as a 'trembler'.  Sorry son,  by definition YOU can't be a trembler. How can you help the opposition if you don't even go to the games at Ewood? And before you ask ... no ... away games don't count! :)

Still finding it easy to not waver and purchase my 28th consecutive season ticket. I do intend to get to an away game or two, ideally one following on from yet another home defeat when Rovers fans have been reminded (as it does seem necessary for some amongst us) o

f the reality surrounding those who profess stewardship of our club. Even if those present are merely symptoms it will be satisfying to have a right thorough scratch! Anyone remember Valley Parade when George Courtney refereed a Rovers game for the first time after the Crystal Palace Selhurst Park play off defeat? The venom the large away following directed at him for the whole first half far eclipsed anything Kean has so far had to endure. I'd like the brief catharsis this would offer as we continue our collective ' journey'.

I remember it well, if you could guarantee that every week aimed at Kean and owners, I may even go down myself. Sadly we’ve a majority of ‘Rovers Fans’ who I’m convinced wouldn’t even get upset if the club poured boiling fat on them for 90 minutes, because they’re Blackburn Rovers supporters and supporting Blackburn Rovers is what its all about!

1. You say I have some front and you reckon that I've lost credibility!!! :o Sorry Neil it wasn't me who illadvisedly labelled every supporter who raised concerns over the owners as tremblers and was forced to hide away from this mboard like a whipped cur until the season finished was it?

2. you've edited and dismissed the rest of my post with an infantile 'blah blah blah' when you really should be reading and inwardly digesting the rest of it.

3. Lancashire Utd?

Do you have your own business Neil? Cos anybody with an ounce of business acumen will know that there is no single team in Lancashire with enough financial support to sustain a team in the country's top division. Our 20 years of Prem success funded by the Walker fortune rather than the back pockets of the supporters didn't convert a single fan from Burnley / Preston or Blackpool did it? All it resulted in was less revenue for the club as a result of having to drastically reduce ST prices to get a reasonable amount of bums on seats. Didn't someone from BRFC once inform us on here that the average match day revenue per seat at Ewood was something like £12.50? Small wonder the Trust saw owning BRFC as flogging a dead horse and chose to get out is it?

Now we have some daft idea to get rid of the Venkeymob by pledging money to the club. Sorry but the day I pledge my money to fund average or aged football journeymen to the tune of 40k pw or whatever has not dawned yet and never will. btw Ewood Spark / uberfan have you pledged a thousand or so? I hope you have or you could possibly be labelled a trembler too. Anybody who has in a moment of rashness needs to consider the fact that if they chuck a grand in at midnight on the 1st Aug it will have been swallowed up in the salary of a single player (Vince Grella possibly :!: ) by 6am the same day! Sorry but anybody who pledges money to a loss making football club deserves one of these.... :wstu: . A healthy vibrant club is one that does not depend on latching onto somebody elses nipple.

3. You've responded to me but have you responded to Abbey yet?

I gave up away travel years ago but I think proper fans would say that following the team away is the sign of a truer supporter...... especially when you are not on a bean feast jolly but have to pay all expenses yourself eh?

btw JP never did receive any money for the Indian trip as allegedly promised from your fat buddy Balaji. Does that count as another broken promise?

I doubt that such a club exists at the top level in this country so hoping that your famed Lancashire Utd would be able to do so is a load of hogwash. Why do you keep on flogging this dead horse which was first mooted about 50 years ago and is just as irrelevant and unworkable now as it was back in the 1960s ?

I have exchanged a series of emails with BRFC and I cannot believe the context of some of the topics I have discussed. The whole club seem to think that because the owners have given KEANSCUM a vote of confidence the fans will just accept it.

It fills me with dread that the one basic thing needed in the club to give a positive upturn is to change the manager, its a no brainer.

Someone from within the club must surely realise it really is that simple.

KEANSCUM is an imitation of a manager. He cant motivate, he cant use tactics, he appears not to have a clue and the players and fans despise him. He is the reason why we were relegated yet he has not taken any shred of blame for the drop.

He is a convicted drink driver and a liar to boot.

A person without pride, dignity or a shred of decency as well as being a drunk.

GET OUT OF OUR BELOVED CLUB

Not meaning to stray too far off season tickets, but every decision the club makes is with Kean in mind - whether it be off the pitch appointments or the general way the owners conduct themselves.

For example, Agnew would not have got his 'promotion' without Stevie - the current state of affairs is sickening.

The current thinking is a few signings will quiet everyone down.

Well, it won't!!! They really must think the average fan is a moron if they think most of us are that gullible. I know some seem to think things are improving, but personally I think they are getting worse. i keep hoping it's the dark before the dawn but I can't see it myself yet.

And not to mention all the players signed so far this year have either worked closely with kean before or in the case of the portugese players are prob completely unaware of what kean has done to this team and the fans but are justed impressed by the fact he can speak portugese even if it his BS hes talkin).

To put it into context, the signings of Gomes and Murphy are no more ground breaking than Burnley's signings of Ian Wright and Gazza years ago.

Best could be okay but better than Yak? Nah.

A couple of unknown Portugeezers could well be the next Rochina and Formica as well.

Add to the mix that Hoilett will definitely leave with the departure of the good Olsson, Nzonzi,Robbo highly likely why should there be anyone thinking we're a shoo-in to go up?

I'm still bunging a ton on relegation.

Don't know about relegation LDRover, but we get the same reactions every transfer window. The last window was greeted with great enthusiasm by some, but turned out to be pretty poor. I'm sure Kean knows about Murphy and Best - who doesn't? but we're again going down the unknown foreigner route. Pure gambles these lads are. Someone's again pushing these guys onto the manager because I'm convinced Kean knows nothing about the foreigners - couldn't be football agents could it? Oh for the days when the manager would bring players in on trial before buying. Still, I guess that would be just as big a gamble with Kean who doesn't seem to know what a real footballer looks like.

Don't get me wrong I want Kean out of the club - but is there a chance that he retains the loyality of the majority of the players. Either his training is as good as Best reckons in his recent interview, and his able to somehow maintain the respect of many of the players - or there is something very strange going where players aren't coming out against Kean. Even Salgado was very guarded in his comments about Kean.

Having said all that - to go back to your first point - Kean is without doubt stopping a number of fans renewing - but how many are due to Kean and how many due to relegation (I suppose ultimately down to Kean) will always be subject to conjecture. And though some won't go back while Kean is still in charge - that number will diminish if he surprises everyone and turns things around and gets us promoted.

By the time we know whether kean has managed to start winning games though, season tickets will cost more and you won't be getting full value so most won't bother and will at best buy incividual matches, whereas despite the fact that some are still convinced that it's relegation not Kean keeping people away, I can guarantee that we'd get 3 in my house alone, and lots of others I know would renew, if Kean were sacked now.

I agree Kean is a major reason but of all the people i ever speak to and these include people who have watched this Club for 20 or 30 yrs it is the whole regime and the abject management of the Club at all levels over the last 20 months which has brought their time to an end. These are not kids who you could generally accuse of being fair weather supporters. They are wholly sickened by the lies, deceit, lack of transparency , the involvement of what can only be described as skullduggery, failed promises and lack of respect shown to fans from virtually all levels within the Club.IMO relegation is well down the list of reasons they won't go again.

Had we gone down because we weren't good enough and couldn't compete with the richer cousins in the Pl then most would have accepted it and still supported their home town club in normal circumstances.

However the current regime have pressed the self destruct button and accelerated a demise by taking decisions and acting in a way that insulted the intelligence and opinion of fans who have forgotten more about this club than these morons will ever know.

That is what has sickened people to the pit of their stomachs and why they will never go again until they are all long gone

If his training was that good I think there would have been some indication of it on the pitch on matchdays. We neve showed any tactical nous, never fitter enough to compete beyond 60min if we could compete at all and players looked demotivated. Players aren't going to speak out as it will be seen as bringing the club into disrepute, which would breach their contract, club rules and bring on a hefty fine. I could also imagine the players don;t have the full picture when it comes to the workings of the club, they turn up for training and go home and as mentioned from a couple of ex player even when they want to dicuss issues with management they can;t get an answer from anyone or speak with anyone who has an idea or authority. Only Kean (apart front Venkys) knows the full picture as he has been, and most likely continue to be despite shop front changes, holding all the power on the ground, Kean can choose what he wants the players to know and what he doesn;t. Its most likely he goes off to India to commplain how everybody is against him etc., Venkys take his advice, then he comes back from India and gives out the impression that he has to pick up the pieces after Venkys decisions.

Also, Murphy is going to be delighted with Kean he's just received a financial package no other team in the land would offer, likewise for best and probably Nuno Gomes.

Hearing Kean's voice on the radio last week reminded me why my family have not bought our season tickets as yet. Its not relegation for us -we supported Rovers when we were in Division 3 .The main reason is Kean-I personally find it hard to stomach him being in the ground after his behaviour towards the fans, his unprofessional behaviour etc. We are really missing the pre-season interest and its hard having no season to look forward to.

Sack him and the season tickets will pick up.
