Having said all that - to go back to your first point - Kean is without doubt stopping a number of fans renewing - but how many are due to Kean and how many due to relegation (I suppose ultimately down to Kean) will always be subject to conjecture.

Well for myself and approx 3000 others relegation had nothing to do with not renewing cos I didn't renew last season. I'd had a bellyfull of the whole damned shebang way back then to know relegation was a virtual certainty under the numpties incompetent control. I can't abide liars and I can't abide ignorant people and it was obvious from an early stage that we have been landed with both.

I guess some people prefer not to tell the wood from the trees and some people simply can't see either.

I have exchanged a series of emails with BRFC and I cannot believe the context of some of the topics I have discussed. The whole club seem to think that because the owners have given KEANSCUM a vote of confidence the fans will just accept it.

It fills me with dread that the one basic thing needed in the club to give a positive upturn is to change the manager, its a no brainer.

Someone from within the club must surely realise it really is that simple.

KEANSCUM is an imitation of a manager. He cant motivate, he cant use tactics, he appears not to have a clue and the players and fans despise him. He is the reason why we were relegated yet he has not taken any shred of blame for the drop.

He is a convicted drink driver and a liar to boot.

A person without pride, dignity or a shred of decency as well as being a drunk.

GET OUT OF OUR BELOVED CLUB

100% Spot on correct, says it all really.

Hearing Kean's voice on the radio last week reminded me why my family have not bought our season tickets as yet. Its not relegation for us -we supported Rovers when we were in Division 3 .The main reason is Kean-I personally find it hard to stomach him being in the ground after his behaviour towards the fans, his unprofessional behaviour etc. We are really missing the pre-season interest and its hard having no season to look forward to.

Sack him and the season tickets will pick up.

I still cannot get that image out of my head of him on the pitch, hands raised in some sick deluded salute, openly goading our travelling supporters after snatching a draw away at Wigan.

That was also the thing for me that really turned me against him as a bloke besides the terrible managemant up to that point. Him doing that, thinking the Rao brothers were still in the stands looking on, as well as sending the players away from the fans and telling Robbo to go down the tunnel whilst coco himself tried to take applause. What a ******, it just showed him up for the tosser that he his and the whole stupid charade that he's been conducting to the Venky's all along. That few min's showed everyone there and then what this fella is all about, a complete chancer!

I did say SOME may be swayed by the football argument.

The point is I have no idea what Kean's personality is really like ... I have never even spoken to him. For all I know he may go home at night and strangle cats .... I just don't know. The only thing I can judge him on is his public persona. I don't see evil. In fact some of the traits he displays are just what you need for a top cat in an organisation ... positivity and a thick skin and an absolute determination to clamber to the top .... I have seen these traits displayed in my own organisation ... and it seems to work, even for people who arn't necessarily good at their jobs. If only Kean had the ability to win football matches (which deep down is the thing that irks most of his detractors) then he seems to have the personality to get to the very top.

Ah yes, I see your point. You mean like that Adolf Hitler had all the right qualities for running a country?

Kean is rotten through and through. We've had bad managers before but never in the history of the club have we had someone purporting to lead Rovers whilst simultaneously lining his own pockets and showing total contempt for fans and anyone else who has the temerity to point out his complete inepitude. The man has the morals of a sewer rat. Anyone with eyes in their head can see that. Lying, drunk driver, slanderer, self-delusionist, arse-licker etc etc

As for season tickets, everyone hold firm. Don't renew until Kean has gone. Refuse to endorse a Rovers team he leads. It's a war of attrition, and we will win,

Kean has reached the top, he took his chance and he's now a multi-millionaire with a big house and good lifestyle and has been extremely successful on a personal level. The workplace is full of people like Steve Kean. The difference is that in most normal workplaces a failing CEO like Kean would have resigned or would have been fired long ago. Kean is very much like Bob Diamond, who only resigned from Barclays when his position became untenable but even when he appeared before MPs last week refused to accept that the debacle at his company might just be his fault. These people have huge egos, in their view they are never wrong and they will never admit to making mistakes. It is these traits that continue to aggravate Rovers supporters - not just poor results on the football field.

I reckon folk will make their mind up on whether to renew or not based on many factors. Personally I have renewed reluctantly but I am not doing this as a vote of confidence in the regime or because I am on the their payroll but have done because I want to.

I think we should stop attacking each other for having different views and get back to thinking of how to keep the pressure on to change things for the better.

It's a tough one though, McClarky.

I fully appreciate the non-renewal argument as a means to put pressure on NORMAL owners. But we don't have normal owners. We can all see evidence of "wrongdoing" with our own eyes, yet, because is no evidence of anything illegal having taken place, the authorities don't care either - meaning we can't force them out.

This means that we are stuck with them - no matter WHAT we do. Protests are completely futile now except to vent our spleens and let people know that we still aren't happy. But that's just going to make us even more miserable.

So we can either turn our backs on our club - however much it hurts - or keep calm and carry on, ignoring all propaganda from Kean and Shebby and just watch the football - however much it hurts.

For me, I think the latter hurts more because as well as having to give Venkys my money, I also have to but up with snide comments about being one of the collaborators (although I've read worse descriptions).

Like I said it's a tough one but ultimately, we have to respect each others decisions, without trying to wind each other up or play the juvenile "who's the better fan" game.

What hurts even more is seeing that smug, lip licker on the side lines, trousering a fortune for telling us all to go fekk ourselves, whilst all his little pals in all the key areas also get their snouts in the trough, that is far too much for me to stomach. Fair play to you, your gag reflex to these scrotes is obviously far stronger than mine and I can understand your thinking. Sadly I will not be at Ewood whilst these scumbags prevail.

I've been thinking about this whole thing since we started making signings. I'm actually pretty impressed with the signings we've made although we've yet to see who leaves Rovers as yet.

I would suspect the incoming cash will far outweigh the outgoing.

I feel more like renewing my ST now than I did a month ago. For me, the dust is starting to settle a little bit and, regardless of Kean being in charge, I just think there could be something about us next season.

That's probably more a case of time has made you forget how bad we were for the last 8 weeks of the season, and how bad Kean's tactics / formations were.

Come September when Murphy is at right back and we've got two players not being picked for 'contractual reasons' it will soon come flooding back.

sorry el tombro, you have been sucked into the venkys/kean bullshit machine, they can make all the 35/36 years old hasbeen signings they want but it will take a hell of alot more than that for me to renew, they could sign ronaldo, messi and even pele but while kean is there that is all obselete, i wont set foot inside ewood again until hes gone, NEVER!!!

What were your initial thoughts on the Rochina, Formica, Vucevic, Petrovic, Goodwillie and Dann signings?

The fact I got slightly excited about it made me forget the whole problem with Kean and Venky's. Then I just wondered... is it worth making your footballing life miserable when, although the owners have made stupid decisions, they do seem to want to succeed and have, in actual fact, invested more than the Trust would have done (we've shed about the same as we've made in player transfers).

Clearly you have forgotten the last 18 months.
