I've been thinking about this whole thing since we started making signings. I'm actually pretty impressed with the signings we've made although we've yet to see who leaves Rovers as yet.

The fact I got slightly excited about it made me forget the whole problem with Kean and Venky's. Then I just wondered... is it worth making your footballing life miserable when, although the owners have made stupid decisions, they do seem to want to succeed and have, in actual fact, invested more than the Trust would have done (we've shed about the same as we've made in player transfers).

I feel more like renewing my ST now than I did a month ago. For me, the dust is starting to settle a little bit and, regardless of Kean being in charge, I just think there could be something about us next season.

Not exactly a total shock!

Don't worry, the feeling will soon pass. Around 5pm on Saturday 18th August.

The Trust gave us 11 years of top flight football and Venkys destroyed that in just 18 months. Clearly there's a huge amount to feel positive about the clowns in Pune.

Like many have said before, with the Village Idiot in charge it wouldnt matter who we had in the team because he just cant set the team up correctly anyway.

Lots of signings and sellings just means lots of Agent fees.

I will not re-new my season ticket until the Frauds are out.

I know what you mean but it's a balancing act isn't it?

Is it for 'the greater good' or am I biting my nose off to spite my face?

Anyone got any more cliches I could borrow?

The road to Hell is paved with good intentions.........the road to salvation is a long hard road.

Will that do Tom?

That's just pure bsh1t Spark. "personality trait"? In which way do Ferguson and Dalglish compare to Kean? Face up to it and stop going into denial. We're talking about someone who has lied to the police and the fans. We're talking about someone who weasled his way into a job he should have never been a contender for. We're talking about someone who went above the head of JW and was more than partly responsible for him leaving. We're talking about someone who tried to turn fan against fan. Personality trait my backside. Suggesting that winning a few Championship games is going to bring back thousands of fans shows a lack of understanding of the feelings against the guy.

Absolutely bang-on Den! That is exactly how I see it too, and I don't even think about whether or not some on here consider my stance against the Venkys and Kean makes me "fickle". Nothing will change my stance until the club is rid of the lot of them and all their entourage and hangers-on as well.

Completely agree. There cannot be any wiping of slates in view of what this bunch of undesirables have done to our club and their complete disdain for the supporters. Kean is a cancer that must be removed along with the temporary owners (in name only). Any attempt to appease with a few overpaid second rate 'celebrity' signings from the Kean list of cronies should be treated with the contempt it deserves. Can't wait for the spin they put on 6k ST renewals - free tickets for schools initiative in the offing?

Must say I was slightly disturb at the weekend when I found out a couple of staunch anti-Kean fanatics informed me they're considering renewing, I almost fell over. It seems a few people are being blinded by the fact we've signed a couple of players, and times a great healer.

I put them both straight, hopefully they’ll stay strong and not support the regime.

Football fans are regarded as a very fickle bunch Gav, so It would not surprise me if people do return after a signing or two.

More than likely, clubs that haven't had consistently higher crowds than us for decades.

Thanks a lot Venky's.

And as for that bizarre individual Agnew thinking a win or two against Watford and co will have them lining up down the street

to buy ST's, well he's as deluded as his master.

burnley will never get crowds higher than 12-13,000. I am staying strong, as much as it hurts not to renew, i can't bring myself to put money into an organisation that has no respect for me as a supporter

You mean in this division?..I do believe they had quite a few above 14,000 last season.

I haven't renewed - but on a daily basis still consider whether to or not. It isn't about signings - but about supporting Rovers.

Ultimately you have to ask what good not renewing will actually do. Do people think they will sack Kean or sell the club - as neither are likely.

At the moment I haven't renewed as I see it as my only form of protest - but at times I wonder who suffers - because I doubt my £200 makes much difference to them.

Not being an ITKer - at the moment things seem to be improving - better communication with the fans, better signings etc. Funnily enough our best chance of the Venky's selling up is as a Premiership club - best chance of that is with a vocal support (and obviously a new manager). I feel we are in a catch twenty two unless there is enough in the dossier passed to the FA to force them out - which seems unlikely at the moment.
