I agree, this is a good idea. It would also mean we get in there first with an explanation about low attendances, before Agnew/Keanscum blame it on playing in the Championship.

Therefore can we get all heads of forums, groups, action groups together to collate a press release for all the media to read out on our behalf?

I think many have been saying this for ages now, but the only protest left to fans is to vote with your feet, simple as that. The protests last season were poorly attended, the club spun the line its only a minority, the media bought that line, so its now time to show the media, that ones that are interested, that its not a minority it’s a good share of the support that are disillusioned with the events over the past 18 months.

Empty seats is whats required and plenty of em!

Gav, the media and officials at Rovers have constantly spun one with regards to fan protests. The media will say that because we're in The Championship, our attendences have dropped. They won't pick up on the fact that fans have stopped attending due to the Owners and Manager. No chance of that happening.

Good idea for the press release (if it can be organised).

It should mentioned;

- The support levels last time we went down, under proper ownership/board management

- That regardless of 'investment' this summer, SK has had his chance and should be sacked. 10 games into the season will be too late.

- People want answers why he hasn't been sacked.

- Egs of people who haven't renewed for the first time in 40/50 yrs.

Before you attend, remember what to expect. Remember the Bolton and Wigan games. The atmosphere at those games.

Kean will be stood smugly in his box watching us lose again and laughing in face of any Rovers followers who attend.

Kung fu Charlie is now the camp commandant and there will be inevitable clashes between attendees and stewards.

Players who need a contract will be berating people for not supporting the team and booing kean.

No-one will be in Jacks box.

Agnew will be grinning in the stands with the nobend loser. Groucho (has he got a work permit? If so how the hell did he manage that!) will spout the most ridiculously untrue drivel on Radio Rovers, a station of which Goebbels will now be proud.

Chants will be kean out and Venkys out not COYB.

At the end of the game any remaining attendees will be angry, disillusioned and frustrated. Protests will occur but will be quickly put down by the club.

Kean will say in his post match speech (not on Soccer Saturday anymore!) that 99% of the fans are behind him and we were excellent despite losing 2-0 at home to Hull.

Even if Kean leaves, and the chances of that are slim to nil with the current regime of which he is obviously the fulcrum, nothing will change until the hideous owners are ousted.

If 7000 have renewed it shows what short memories many have.

Do you have the stomach to go through this again? I would have if I thought anything I did in the ground would change the owners but it won’t.

Non attendance. It’s the way forward.

I know there is a view that it won’t change anything etc, however I think some sort of joint statement of fans group could be useful – it has been quiet for a while and would be good response to this “communication” starting to come out of the club from the likes of Agnew and Singh.

This can also be highlighted when groups etc are meeting Shebby – then we can see who is serious about moving the club forward.

the statement should include 'fans are not renewing purely based on kean still being in the job, he should have been sacked the moment rovers were relegated, many fans would have renewed without a second's hesitation regardless of what league we are in, if the owners had done the right thing as soon as the season had ended then none of this would have been an issue.'

I mentioned the other day, that we should get a list together of STH not attending, who will renew if Kean is sacked.

That combined with the joint statement would work well.

I strongly agree with this.

I know there are many who say that Venky's and Rovers don't care about how they're perceived, but if that's so, why are they spending so much time 'spinning' the situation? Why is Agnew already laying down the cover story for low attendance by blaming the 'negative reaction' on relegation alone? Why did Venky's trot out Venkatesh with shaven head to mumble incoherent apologies?

This is a propoganda war, and it's a war we have to win.

I also believe that the lower attendances are, the more our message will get across, and the more chance Kean has of being fired. Though of course, that's a personal opinion.

Of course it is a propaganda war, they are only in this for their precious ###### brand.

They are being told things now from people they think they trust hence their actions over the summer.

trust..lol how stupid can theybe trusting fools like Agnew, shaw, singh + keeping someone who has just cost them millions by getting the club relegated....now I for 1 am not believing they are that stupid as to trust them fools...something isn't right and doesn't add up and never has done as Dave Whelan said '' the Blackburn deal doesn't look right '' how right Whelan was any sucessfull person in business could see that right away !

Kean and Venkys were there last summer too. Does the boycott just apply to games outside the Premier League?

I renewed last season because I couldn't believe it could get worse and I wanted to carry on supporting my team regardless of owners or manager. However it soon became obvious that it could be worse so I joined the protests. It soon became obvious that there was still no change and at that point before relegation was decided we made the decision not to renew. If kean goes we'll be there -if he stays we won't. It's not about which league. It is about which manager.

I'm rather looking forward to having every saturday free to do things I love doing like fell walking, camping, boozy afternoons in manchester etc etc

I haven't even given renewing and the implications of not attending for the first time in 25 years a 2nd thought. I couldn't give a stuff about not going in all honesty. Thanks Venkys and cheers Kean

Personally speaking after not renewing last season (and this is no slur on the magnificent job Allardyce did with such reduced financial resources compared to previous managers) but I now struggle to think how I found the time or the inclination to go to Ewood since Sparky left.

How about a poll......

Q....What will it take for you to re-new (or buy) a Rovers season ticket?

It's a good question. Lots of people say they'll get a ST once Kean goes but personally I don't believe them. I've witnessed this effect with many middle aged fans in the 60's. Once the habit's broken it takes an awful lot to get people back. Jack Walker managed it but the Walker years were a a once in a lifetime event.

personally I renewed on the last day of April after I came back from holiday on the hope we'd stay up + I am not letting coco + his gang ruin my social enjoyment of a few pints and watching a game but I won't be attending at home till against Barnsley due to a small personal boycott for the first few games until hopefully Kean removes himself from the club ( can't see that happening , but it is also obvious that no one will sack him ) IMO everything whats happened the owners or whoever owns Rovers couldn't give a flying F about me or thousands chanting Kean out or venkys out that is irrelavant they own the football club for ulterior motives that is plainly obvious !

BTW : renewing or not renewing it is a catch 22 situation especially if money isn't a problem for the person but sooner or later this club is going to be in serious financial crisis , you don't need to be a mathematician to work that out Danny murphy 50k a week , Dunn 40K a week , etc , etc were now in the Championship FFS with massive reduced income of around -40mill sooner or later the ###### will hit the fan

I'm looking forward to having every free Saturday to do other things so I'm not even sure I'd renew this season even if Kean was sacked

So basically you are going to walk away from the club (fair enough) and yet you still post on here day in day out ?

When I read this mb I often wonder why people still post on a regular basis when they hate the manager, they hate the owners, they think everyone we are signing is either crap or a conspiracy to line a certain agents pockets and they slag other fans for wanting to support the club.

I haven't got a problem with people thinking all of the above but I do wonder why some people continue to come on here ?

I have a season ticket and I come on to see if there is any transfer gossip (as I have for years now) and I have a glance at what else is being said and recently (and understandably) every thread seems to be the same. Even the transfer threads.

I know if I felt so much anger and hate the last place I would be visiting is this website but hey, the world would be boring if we were all Rovers Fans.

Please don't abuse me its just an observation.

Got to say hearing every random buggers future weekend plans is a tad tiresome.

Sounds like the lakes is going to be busy with all the extra blue & white walkers lol. Maybe we should start a BRFCS hikers club :)

Well this is my stance for what it's worth.

I will not set foot inside Ewood again until Kean goes. I cannot live in a world where I have no Rovers to watch though so I'll travel to as many away games as humanly possible.

Hopefully many others will do likewise then I can watch Joseph ("If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it") Agnew-Goebbels try to spin his way out of explaining why Rovers have the biggest away following in the league whilst Ewood is empty. Negative reaction to relegation indeed!!
