Il go aslong as there is a club to support and aslong as physically possible.

Rovers till I die.....Think about what that actually means.

Sadly to some, that is conditional. some should chant, "Rovers till I die, dependant on who the owner or the manager is." or "rovers till I die, subject to terms and conditions". Sad that people are allowing venkys and kean to dictate if they come to matches or not. Those chosing to boycott are allowing Venkys and Kean etc to win. Staying away will have no effect on venkys whatsoever - so pointless doing so. I do not understand why folk allow them to take away their enjoyment of attending a football match. But at the end of the day it is still their choice.

Whilst there is a team to support, whilst I am still physically able and financially able to do so. I will still come to what matches I am able to do. If I lived in the blackburn area, I would buy a season ticket. Attending a football match and supporting your club, is like a tradition.

Wouldn't care if he won the league and got us promoted - he has been and continues to be unsupportable. I'd be pleased for the team if it happened, but I really don't see it happening so I will almost certainly not find my decision not to attend tested.

But surely the team needs supporting? I cant believe that you or any other Rovers fan wouldnt care if we won the league! You most certainly will not see it happening if youre not there!

Wholeheartedly agree.

More to life than watching, IMO, grossly overpaid and overrated prima donnas, chasing a bag of wind round a field whilst a statuesque buffoon stands on the side lines, utterly clueless but earning £1m+ per year.

As for Hughesy's comments about what to do on a Saturday afternoon, his life must be pretty empty and miserable if only the circus act at Ewood can fill it.

Clueless. If you think that's what it comes to, what have you been doing reading these forums for the past couple of seasons. Quite a few of the people who have decided that they can't support the destruction of the club any more, have put in thousands of pounds, thousands of miles, decades of attendance more than you ever will Pafell.

It could happen Ossy.

I dare say we will have decent followings initially at least. If things go tits up they will soon drop off though. Another thing I think a lot of people are forgetting is how many midweek games there are, it makes away days a lot harder and eats into your holidays from work if you can get the time off. Leeds and Sheff Weds will have large followings at all games regardless.

You have a strange sense of humour down there in Sussex!

They will still be grossly overpaid and overrated prima donnas, chasing a bag of wind round a field once the bald pillock disappears and the chicken stuffers do whatever it is they want to do to our club.

Sorry Gumboots but had to laugh. To start with the phrase 'wouldn't care' followed by 'I'd be pleased' is a little bit like an oxymoron. Can't believe your first statement as clearly you do care.

Not attending is a different subject, I would be surprised if a fair number of people wouldn't be positively influenced by promotion back to the Premier, whether automatically or by the play-offs.

I can list out the posters in advance who would disagree and they will never share the same view as me. There is a grim irony that some of the most vociferous on this forum have happily said they don't attend anyway by choice. Emphasis on 'some'

Well this is my stance for what it's worth.

I will not set foot inside Ewood again until Kean goes. I cannot live in a world where I have no Rovers to watch though so I'll travel to as many away games as humanly possible.

Hopefully many others will do likewise then I can watch Joseph ("If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it") Agnew-Goebbels try to spin his way out of explaining why Rovers have the biggest away following in the league whilst Ewood is empty. Negative reaction to relegation indeed!!

I cannot for the life of me understand that one....the ones boycotting (myself included) are doing so mainly because golden balls is in charge and the venkys are still the boss of billy smarts...so why are ypu going to away games to watch the buffoon make a total knob of himself?...why are you not then going to ewood to get all angry with him?.....boycott the whole shananigans (sp)...those who have no life outside of football need to get back to area 51 and find themselves a "green" mate...

To go to away matches is a show of support for the club, to go to home matches is a show of support for the owners.

So is fans' presence at a game then a mere charade? It is believed that greater fan support has a positive effect on the team performance. Would you say that's not true and fan attendance is merely a way to assess their approval of the owners?

Must say I'd go to all the home games if you could guarantee an anti Kean/venkys atmosphere like the Wigan game, but sadly we have to many ‘Rovers Fans’ with short memories for that to happen. I also take you point on away games, I’m wrestling with not going to any, fans in the stand will be turned into some sort of support for Kean and Venkys and that is simply not going to happen as far as I’m concerned.

Kean out

Venkys out

Agnew out

Wigan Home 7/5/12 rather disproves that theory Miker. :(

Plus the infamous Christmas run of "winnable games" last season where the fans got behind the players and were rewarded with a straight set of losses.
