Stick or Twist this summer?

  1. 1. So stay up or go down should we keep Super Steve 'Coco' Kean at the helm for next season??

    • Keep - But only if we stay up
    • Keep - Even if relegated
    • Sack - But only if we go down
    • Sack - Even if we stay up
    • Just like a puppet I have no opinion

It looks like Coco is touting Grant Handley around now. He's said that ManUre can keep their hands off. What a joke Kean-Venkys would sell anybody to anyone. Never mind United, if Bolton stayed up we'd sell to them.

Apologies, should be in the Grant Handley section. I cant think straight when i see Coco's name in print.

So what you're saying is effectively that you're not bothered about Kean but you are about Venkys? Lads, I don't support the Venkys one bit and im sure you don't either, i support the team and the manager.

I wish we'd stay up, I really do it would be one hell of a fantastic achievement.

While you're singing "Steve Kean's Blue and White Army" and believing what a wonderful job he's doing with the lack of cash, just spare a thought as to why he brought in his Agent's son Myles Anderson, Bruno Ribero, had his name on the door when the contracts were handed out to those players who have either been frozen out or have left. Also consider the numerous lies he has told, the 500 letters a day of support, the "1%" and also consider that the Press aren't allowed to make him answer any meaningful questions in his Press Conferences.

Also consider that he still lives in Surrey, has a driving ban (that was the fans' fault as well don't forget) and isn't able to go out for a drink in Blackburn town centre mid week (like anyone would really want to) without the protection of his bodyguard.

Also consider his wage rise. Maybe the "injured" Ryan Nelsen left to subsidise that? Also remember that if it wasn't for the father of Myles Anderson and the sheer stupidity of our owners he wouldn't have gotten within a million miles of managing a Premier League football club.

"Steve Kean's Blue and White Army" my arse.

It isnt Keans fault who goes where etc like it wasn't Williams fault when Duff left.

I wish you'd guys see that...

Kean is doing an excellent job on limited resources, why are they that way? Because we have to be sutainable. No one wants to be in debt and that is how a football club has to react to the new rules.

By doing it as early as sunderland i.e this year we are giving ourselves a good long term future regardless of relegation because we would still be here. If you've got ten pound in your bank and you want to buy a t-shirt at 30 pound you cant because you dont have that sort of money, We can't keep borrowing and getting into debt. It's just not sustainable in the long term.

Either direct your frustrations at Platini or ask why we can't fill our ground or why we can't keep on borrowing?

He wouldn't have limited resources if he hadn't bought such crap.

Hindsight is a wonderfull thing in regards to ground building.

We are being run as a business, if you cant see that then its your problem, but it's not Keans fault. he dosen#t make the decisions on who goes for x amounted million.

He has to work with what hes got and right now we dont have a top ten/tweleve side.

I see it. I just thought we'd be run as a football club.

Im as frustrated as every other Rovers fan out there!

We have a poor squad, keans doing well working with what hes got , Having Venkys as your owners does not lift morale one bit. When you look at the Swansea team playing for each other and enjoying it thats what football is about but until the Venkys are gone then i genuenly feel we could be floating around the bottom of the league for a long time.

Drink driving yes its a very low thing to commit to a mistake he made and tried to cover up but if im honest id have tried lieing about it too in the chance i got off. However I appreciate what everyone is saying and indeed its a very serious mistake to lie to your fans etc.

Every player is working for Kean out there, Tactical naivety was a big negative of his a while ago but i feel hes made a wise appointment in Eric Black and the pair seem to be improving us and Kean as a manager is starting to get things right, such as subs etc. We are starting to see a settled team.

Its not been an easy ride for us fans over the last year or so, but we have to make the best with what we have and for some of you thats Kean... Give him until the end of the year thats all im saying, who else could we possibly attract with our owners...

still dont agree, we have some decent players, the majority of whom were here under big sam and he had us in the top 10, hes signed dross so far apart from yakubu, i cant beleive your defending him or thinking 'he has done a good job' are you naive or just simple? or are you a WUM? 2 seasons now we have been in a relegation battle, was hodgson doing a good job when he nearly got us relegated? what about ince? kean has had nearly 2 season and has lost the majority of his matches, i dare you to go to ewood one time and tell that to the hard working supporters thats kean is a good manager. as for managers, there would be plenty who would be up for it but penny pinching venkys would rather save their cash!! Also the players are not working for kean, they are working to save their premiership careers, alot of these guys, if we got relegated wouldnt be picked up by premiership clubs, like the end of last season, when we went on a run, they know we are real danger of going down, is it a coincidence?

What subs? We don't make any. Stop talking absolute dross. Let's give him till 2035 to prove he's ######. Why not eh? Blackburn Rovers is there for Steve Kean to learn. 27 years in football and he still can't pick a team to beat Bolton.

also dunnfc, you say 'keep to the end of the year', do you mean as in season or as in to the end of 2012? so if we are relegated you would keep him, yet in your vote you said 'keep, only if we stay up' your kind of contradicting yourself there!!!

But which idiot signed the poor players? :wstu:

He blamed Rovers supporters for spiking his drink! Not the best thing to do when you already have the majority of fans against you!

So verses Manure when every person in the ground could see we needed a change after being penned in our own half for the first 20 minutes of the 2nd half, why didn`t super Steve make a sub?

Over my dead body,he is the worst manager Rovers have ever had including `Ince the inept`.It`s about time you took notice of what Kean`s said and done over the last 16 months.

You need an "HTML" after your link.

Once again the headline writers make up stuff to have a pop at the fans. What a bunch of w####ers.

The actual interview (recycled) lays the blame fairly and squarely at Kean and Venky after he was 'touted around' to other clubs without his knowledge. Yet it's the fans' fault, FFS.

EDIT: the actual article is really damning towards Kean, in fact, e.g.: "I just thought for my own sanity I had to get out of that building and enjoy my football and play for a manager who I like and respect and want to learn from."

P.S. does anyone know who to complain to about such blatant misleading headlines? It's ###### unbelievable!!

EDIT2: re: substitutions

Kean said "We only really look to change it if we are struggling and need something different," said the Scot. "I was just about to bring David Dunn on against Manchester United at 0-0, but then they scored."

We WERE struggling and we DID need something different - even at 1-0 down!! How does he get away with it??

Surely the only sentence that could follow on from that is "therefore we just gave up" ?? The club is fighting for its life in the league, and we give up after going a goal down at home. Forget that it was Man Utd - that just isn't acceptable. It's almost as bad as his scandalous (and now apparently forgotten) admission we forfeited the Cardiff game.

Only under Kean, forfeited the Cardiff game for them to go on and reach the final and us to go on a horrific run of results in the league.

Illustrated, once again, how out of his depth he is.

I'm running out of words to describe this buffoon of a "manager". Anyone got any?
