Stick or Twist this summer?

  1. 1. So stay up or go down should we keep Super Steve 'Coco' Kean at the helm for next season??

    • Keep - But only if we stay up
    • Keep - Even if relegated
    • Sack - But only if we go down
    • Sack - Even if we stay up
    • Just like a puppet I have no opinion

I doubt it, they have their careers to look after, busting up Kean would send them down at least a couple of divisions...jail time...

But God oh mighty, has there ever been a man in football that deserved the tar kicked out of him as badly as Kean? None that I can think of.

Getskills, that all your own work? Awesome stuff, laughing like a madman on the train. May get the old bloke sat across from me reading 'women and power' a read.....wonder if mrs D is mentioned?!?!?

Not entirely my own work. I had the assistance of two good friends, both called Carlsberg.

Cryer, Blackburn (THe Sun) and Kamy all have an 'understanding' that something went off.

Philipl seems to think that he might know what happened (Norwich thread):

No not them apparently (referring to Givet & Petro).

Steve puffy face Kean knows who laid them on him though. The Brockhall peregrine falcon seems to have witnessed Kean starting one of the fights because he had been rescued from a beating and had turned on the rescuer and came off second best again.

I love cryptic replies. ;)

Ive had it confirmed it was an apparent headed clearence by Scott Dann that resulted in Kean getting smacked then the ongoing argument was about if you could actually call that a clearence and Scott Dann continuesly boasting how he had two first names.

Some discussion of Kean on today's Guardian Football Weekly (@ 23.25). Relatively reasonable points made aside from Raf Honisgtein's impression of Mark Lawrenson: "I mean, what is this anti-Kean stuff all about?" Baffling.

Just shows the extent of these journos knowledge. "he was Allardyce's number 2". He wasn't allardyces number 2 at all! Although he is the definition of a number 2

On a bit of a change of direction. I assume there is going to be lots of anti Kean chanting on Saturday, certainly if we go a couple down. Can we get a few other songs rather than just the typical Kean out. Maybe tweak some of the Burnley songs to Kean.

E.g

What do you think of Kean

Kean you B******, T***, and C***

F*** O**

Or a different version on No Way Never.

Any ideas?

I was thinking of something along the lines of "Daydream believer" by the Monkees...

F**k off Stevie Kean

Oh what can it mean

To a lying ######

who's ruined our team

I haven't got my thinking head on but I am sure someone can make a better rhyme!

EDIT: Hadn't read the whole thread but saw Rigger had a go at something similar to mine. Wasn't copying, just didn't see!

That someone has, yes - though not who just yet...

Just so I'm clear, there was a bust up at training the other day and Kean was supposed to have been emptied by someone who hasn't been revealed yet? Brilliant. I hope it was someone other than Givet, just to show that there are more people against him. It will be interesting to see the team sheet on Saturday and see if any of the regular players aren't in the squad because of a 'tight hamstring'.

Personally i'd love it to be dunny giving him one for the long suffering fans. It shows how far we have fallen as a club when the fans, instead of discussing this Saturday's match against a promoted side we should really, if all were going normally, expect to beat or at the very worst not lose to, are taking bets on who hit the manager and why. Even people like me, who go round telling kids that violence solves nothing, on a daily basis, is really hoping that someone got very violent towards kean. All i want to know is, if the story is true why is it still not out there? I know that we don't generate that much interest in the media but surely if not one but 2 players thumped the boss you'd expect to hear something of it.
