  1. 1. So stay up or go down should we keep Super Steve 'Coco' Kean at the helm for next season??

    • Keep - But only if we stay up
    • Keep - Even if relegated
    • Sack - But only if we go down
    • Sack - Even if we stay up
    • Just like a puppet I have no opinion

A journo at Harry Redknapp's presser really tried to ignore the intervening 'press officer' to ask about the England job. Here's hoping the same persistence is being shown by the journos at our presser. Or is it strangely not happening today? Kamy?

According to Cryer, it is:

Andrew Cryer‏@ Waiting at brockhall for presser re norwich game.

Delayed due to make-up artist stuck in traffic ?

Right, it's Friday afternoon so off for the usual couple of pints with several rogues and vagabonds. Interesting thing is we are meeting in one of Kean's haunts sometimes used by coaching staff on a Friday afternoon !

Ooooh, do spill if you overhear anything - not your pint, obviously.

Guardian deputy sport's editor Barry Glendenning has been operating on the premise that Rovers fans are 'vile, cowardly bullies' ever since the Bolton game. He's had another pop today on the Football Weekly Blog. I urge you to go and inform him - via the comments section - that Kean has never suffered the kind of abuse he's describing (based solely, it seems, on watching the Bolton game on the TV).

This is what much of the mainstream media believes.

Matt, Ive just read his first page response, the bloke doesn't know his arse from his elbow.

'nothing wrong with abusing Kean, just the manner in which you abused him'

Aye all right then Barry lad!

'he gets the blame for all the wrongs at the club but no praise, for example beating the Champions'.

Considering it's now late April and we are adrift in the bottom 3, who the feck cares?

It's a minority podcast for Guardianistas, 'oh aren't they whimsical' I doubt most football fans have even heard if it- don't let it bother you.

No you wouldn't !

So far, no news on presser which is usually held at 10.00 on a Friday.

However, it's team selection that's going to be interesting as according to Kean last weekend:

Dunny's achilles was "sreaming at him" - well, Dunny has history with this problem and I wouldn't expect to see him tomorrow if as bad as Kean said.

Orr - as Dunny, told he needed an injection to get through last week. Wouldn't expect to see him either.

Hoilett - anyone with hammy history almost certainly needs a fortnight following any sort of niggle. Wouldn't expect to see him.

Yak - if he plays tomorrow, call him Lazarus as Kean virtually ruled him out for the season last week. Patella tendonitis is bad and you shouldn't give anyone a cortisone to get them through a match with that injury.

IMO, either, our medics are defying medical science if these four all play tomorrow, or, wtf was Kean on about last week !?!?!?

So it seems from the presser that Dunny, Orr, Hoilett and Yak all fit to play.

And Givet will start as 'immaculate in training'.

Quelle surprise !

Has he an ounce of credibility left ?

At least he wont be able to blame injuries then should we lose tomorrow !

Asked if the issue with Givet had destabilised the squad, Kean insisted that was not the case.

He added: "You might go to work one day and not really feel that great and if you have a good boss they will be understanding, and I felt I dealt with it well.

"To a man the players have all trained well and there has been a good positive atmosphere with no nervous edge. Any team can go on a bad run, it doesn't make you a bad team."

Did he say that, or David Brent?

Amazing. I wonder if this was greeted with a fit of laughter by the journos? I think it's about time this man was sectioned. He clearly is an effing lunatic
