  1. 1. So stay up or go down should we keep Super Steve 'Coco' Kean at the helm for next season??

    • Keep - But only if we stay up
    • Keep - Even if relegated
    • Sack - But only if we go down
    • Sack - Even if we stay up
    • Just like a puppet I have no opinion

Oh. Think we might have called this a bit wrong then. His records not that bad after all.

To be fair most of those managers barely got 10 games  the people in charge of those clubs actually had some common sense and could admit when they'd made a mistake.

Most of them got potted pretty quickly, so not an ideal comparison, plus I'm guessing most wouldn't have had as much transfer activity or have alienated their fanbase as much

Quiz question: which team provided both Les Reed and Steve Wigley with their only win in the above table?

Hmm, let me think....

Very difficult to say for sure. Even if he did - he wouldn't be human if he didn't react to the stick he gets.

So... he's not maintained his dignity throughout?

So if we get one victory and one draw (at minimum) from the remaining games, Kean will surpass Brian Clough. I'm sure we'll never hear the end of that if Kean gets a hold of that stat.

But that was at the end of Cloughs long successful reign , were drink had got the better of him, sure Kean matches him on that part (although he doesn't drink Whisky or Vodka he doesn't even know what it tastes like :) remember that excuse in court!)in fact think he maybe ahead on that one Clough didn't get done for drink driving did he? but doesn't have the fall back of European Cup Winners, League Champions or tactical awareness.

But yeah you are right the slimey toad will take the positives out of that one.

Surpass him at what?

A comment from LT that really says it all as to our predicament under Coco:

The problem is that we aren't playing our best players. We have the "New Rooney", "New Smalling" and "New Irwin" in the squad and none seem to get a game. Why have all these people who would breeze into the Man United team and not play them?

Kean has brought all the flack on himself. His words are either of lunacy, lies and deceit.

I had the misfortune of listening to the 606 podcast.

Absolutely amazing!

Presenter and JR were fawning in praise - even before he rang in!

One particular caller, 'John from London', (definetly not ours! ;) had me raging.

Claiming to be a Rovers fan, he alludes that;

"Kean is doing a great job, is a good manager, and he hopes he stays- even if rovers are relegated."

He then says if Kean is unfortunate to get the sack rovers should employ George Graham!

That guy is mentally ill.

Apparently, Alvin Martin said on Talksport; "Kean made a couragous decision to pick Givet!"

I know, that Jerome the **** Anderson is well connected, but this is obscene!

It's like someone is paying journalists, pundits, actors or morons to speak up for Kean in the media.
