Stick or Twist this summer?

  1. 1. So stay up or go down should we keep Super Steve 'Coco' Kean at the helm for next season??

    • Keep - But only if we stay up
    • Keep - Even if relegated
    • Sack - But only if we go down
    • Sack - Even if we stay up
    • Just like a puppet I have no opinion

Dioufy, legend! Wish he would spill the beans on Kean in an interview.

Trouble with dioufy spilling the beans is he's relatively easy to discredit given his rep, I would be far more interested to hear from the likes of Salgado, nelson or one of the other more respectable pros we once had.

Not that I have anything against diouff though, right now I would live anyone to step up and speak out.

Reckon the summer will see some interesting interviews.

If Kean was REALLY smart he would resign the moment we are relegated

He can then explain how hes a man of his word, he simply wanted to do all he could to keep blackburn safe. He could then go on to say how the owners sold his best players, the fans hated him, how he had to have a bodyguard etc

V quickly he retains a reputation as an honourable man, the media fall over themselevs to laud his resolve and character and maybe just maybe he gets a job in one of the top two leagues....

west brom could be available for him

Once Kean's contract comes to an end I can see somebody taking a gamble on him as a first team coach or assistant manager, The only way I can see him as an actual manager (I use this term loosely) is if a club is taken over and there is some uncertainty who the owners are, and they make some dubious signings.

There seems to be a lot of dancing around the issue of Kean's ineptitude within the media. We all have our own theories as to why he is so untouchable (particularly in the print media) but it is beyond bizarre to witness various theories and critiques focusing on the tactics, the players and even the owners without ever questioning the manager's suitability. Earlier, Gary Neville claimed that Kean's been "so honest all season"! I mean seriously!? If I was on Twitter I'd point out to Neville that Kean is an inveterate liar and serial fantasist.

A guy I play football with (who didn't until now realise I was a Rovers supporter, in spite of the Rovers shirts I sport from time to time. He's a QPR fan. Lovely bloke mind) asked me with a straight face this evening "So Matthew, do you blame Steve Kean?" Incredible.

I pointed out a few weeks back that we should sully his name to the supporters of whichever club he ends up placing cones for in the future. It's petty of course but I think the stink of corruption should follow this mother****er for a long time after he's departed Ewood (which I assume will happen at some point, short of him checking out altogether).

Another of Keans favourite post match comments is "we weren't our normal selves today"

Also bringing Modeste on for Yakubu was surely a sick joke.

Incorrect. He said: "We weren't wur normal selves today."

really?

gob-smacked! :o

More in the area of his eye...

I've just looked at Diouf's Twitter feed (an insight into the ramblings of an obnoxiously wealthy footballer) and he had this to say: "I've done an interview with brfcaction group about kean".

No chance that's the real EHD. Its just a troll impersonating.

Today's Telegraph article. It's a doozy. Please put down any sharp instruments before reading this:

Mental Keano

So now we know. Our relegation has nothing to do with eleven home defeats or just two away wins. It's all down to a referee not giving us a penalty against Bolton. Clearly, at WBA, Swansea and Tottenham, the non-appearance by the team was down to them still being devastated by not getting a penality at the Reebok. Losing to Bolton and WBA before Christmas was no doubt down to the fact that the players knew that in a few months time they would be denied a penalty that would completely undermine the season.

The man is a clown - pure and simple - which is probably why he gets on so well with Desai.

Unfortunately i think the club will have that avenue tied up with anyone through confidentiality agreements etc......... clever people running our club.....to get away with they have been doing misleading the world for so long.........they must be.

Their day will come though...this is what happens when you get too clever and greedy.

I bumped into a very senior player on the car park at Brockhall last week. I can’t name him right now – though you might guess in the next couple of weeks. As we chatted he pointed at the club’s badge above the doors of the training centre and said: “F**king embarrassing”. If you knew who had said it, it would break your heart. And that is a true story.

So which player saying that would break your heart?

He's obviously on about Dunny, but alas it doesn't break my heart, that happened a long time ago now.
