Kamy100 Posted April 4, 2012 Posted April 4, 2012 I hate Monday night games, particularly if results (ala last weekend) have gone against you, it adds to the pressure.
cn174 Posted April 4, 2012 Posted April 4, 2012 Phew, thought it was going to be going back to Saturday. I like Monday night games, but not looking forward to this one! I've had it in my head for ages that this will be the day we go down
Moderation Lead K-Hod Posted April 4, 2012 Moderation Lead Posted April 4, 2012 A bit hacked off with this, Bank Holiday Sunday was fine!!!
OhmiBRFC Posted April 4, 2012 Posted April 4, 2012 Sky ###### me off changing games. 3 of our last 4 games are now evening kick off. Should leave them as they are! Ruins the day out now.
the original david brent Posted April 4, 2012 Posted April 4, 2012 I really hope rovers offer a great deal for the home games against wigan and norwich. 15 quid for both games, or something similar. We need 2 big gates for these games. Would also be great to have a big home crowd in front of the sky cameras.
PAFELL Posted April 4, 2012 Posted April 4, 2012 I hate Monday night games, particularly if results (ala last weekend) have gone against you, it adds to the pressure. If it was a mid table match, they would not have changed it. But being in a relegation battle - is TV friendly - sadly.
seanc88 Posted April 4, 2012 Posted April 4, 2012 I feel sick just thinking about saturday. We really need a result. Not an easy place to go. Probably a safe bet for Andrews to get a goal
Kendalrover Posted April 4, 2012 Posted April 4, 2012 Memories of VE night 8th May 1995. This might be complete opposite of what happened then.
AggyBlue Posted April 4, 2012 Posted April 4, 2012 Memories of VE night 8th May 1995. This might be complete opposite of what happened then. D day. Defeat day. We can add it to the other twenty odd this season
redroses Posted April 4, 2012 Posted April 4, 2012 clutching at straws here but if its on sky it might mean a slightly worse following from wigan fans thus helping us. Last thing we need is the club giving them 3/4 of the Darwen end and them cheering their team to victory. Every little helps.

Last thing we need is the club giving them 3/4 of the Darwen end and them cheering their team to victory. Every little helps. Good point. We need to stick the up in half of the upper tier and drown them out. Short-term money needs might be put ahead of that stance though.
Mattyblue Posted April 4, 2012 Posted April 4, 2012 They won't bring more than 3k for a Monday night match, six pointer or not.
redroses Posted April 4, 2012 Posted April 4, 2012 they certainly need sending into the upper tier only. 3k given maximum regardless of our sales.
Baz Posted April 4, 2012 Posted April 4, 2012 I always think it's a better atmosphere for night games. Now We need the Rovers fans filling the ground to cheer us onto victory. £5 a ticket for anyone on the database or additional tickets for STH guests?
ABBEY Posted April 4, 2012 Posted April 4, 2012 steve venkean today said "its positivle positive that the game has positivly been moved has it positivly shows sky is now all over us because of our success and it shows us now in top 10 touching distance".......disclaimer,,he didnt really.
Lathund Posted April 4, 2012 Posted April 4, 2012 We get a bit of extra cash from this, no? Maybe enough to afford making substitutions!
redroses Posted April 4, 2012 Posted April 4, 2012 steve venkean today said "its positivle positive that the game has positivly been moved has it positivly shows sky is now all over us because of our success and it shows us now in top 10 touching distance".......disclaimer,,he didnt really. the sickening thing is i honestly thought he'd said that until i read your last sentence.
Brfcrule1 Posted April 4, 2012 Posted April 4, 2012 I have also been reliably informed that this last home game is the only game from this season to be broadcast in sky 3D so will be watching it in a local pub in 3D and with this announced today has made up my mind that I will be attending the Norwich home game I hope the club now take the advantage of using the 3D footage to produce some good 3D pics/canvas prints for the club shop.
Backroom Tom Posted April 4, 2012 Backroom Posted April 4, 2012 3d canvas prints? I don't think the game being broadcast in 3d has any bearing on stuff like that.
