Stuart Posted April 8, 2012 Posted April 8, 2012 Good to hear a relevant stat from MOTD: 'Kean's 60th game in charge, 15 wins.' The only shocking stat there is that Kean has been allowed to reach 60 games.

adsfortheblues Posted April 8, 2012 Posted April 8, 2012 But doesn't that includes some Carling Cup matches against the likes of Leyton Orient? Take them out of the equation and it gives a greater indication to his complete inadequacies. Yes it's 11 wins in 53 without the wins over QPR in cup last year and Sheffield weds, Leyton orient and Newcastle in cup
Waggy76 Posted April 8, 2012 Posted April 8, 2012 Yes it's 11 wins in 53 without the wins over QPR in cup last year and Sheffield weds, Leyton orient and Newcastle in cup The worrying thing is , I cannot see him adding to his total ...Wins that is !!!!
Stuart Posted April 8, 2012 Posted April 8, 2012 Dann was an utter disgrace today and Hanley didn't have a great game either, but he is not getting a great role model to learn from in Dann. I can deal with us selling or letting other players go, but allowing Nelsen to leave on a free is just lunacy. I totally agree , put Samba in the mix too... It is the selling of Samba and Nelsen that will ultimately relegate us .... Agreed. Scoring goals wasn't the problem, it was conceding them. We needed to strengthen in defence but also in midfield. We actually downgraded both. Gordon's "ees better ees cheaper" quote, from not long after they arrived, will be Venky's' legacy to Rovers.
Mercer Posted April 8, 2012 Posted April 8, 2012 Good to hear a relevant stat from MOTD: 'Kean's 60th game in charge, 15 wins.' Critical one is PL record : Played 53, won 12, lost 26 - truly appalling. Also, in 53 PL games, we have conceded 99 goals !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
John Posted April 8, 2012 Posted April 8, 2012 Critical one is PL record : Played 53, won 12, lost 26 - truly appalling. Also, in 53 PL games, we have conceded 99 goals !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! God that is awful, not sure many other clubs, in recent times, have persevered with their manager with such a bad record?
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted April 8, 2012 Posted April 8, 2012 But despite the damning evidence the media continue to openly take the p1ss,ridicule the fans and claim he is doing a good job,he's 'turned it around'? - -
Stuart Posted April 8, 2012 Posted April 8, 2012 God that is awful, not sure many other clubs, in recent times, have persevered with their manager with such a bad record? Persevered? Kean has been rewarded. Stay up and he probably will be again!
cn174 Posted April 8, 2012 Posted April 8, 2012 Andy Cryer says we're looking to appeal Modeste's red card. Why even bother, we might as well just send him back now - that'll save us 50p on wages!
Backroom DE. Posted April 8, 2012 Backroom Posted April 8, 2012 Modeste did kick out at the player so I don't see how we can appeal.
Waggy76 Posted April 8, 2012 Posted April 8, 2012 Modeste did kick out at the player so I don't see how we can appeal. He is crap ..do not appeal..
Amo Posted April 8, 2012 Posted April 8, 2012 Modeste did kick out at the player so I don't see how we can appeal. Ah but according to Kean there was "no/no great contact" and Modeste "had intent in his mind to kick out" but "changed his mind".
Stuart Posted April 8, 2012 Posted April 8, 2012 Ah but according to Kean there was "no/no great contact" and Modeste "had intent in his mind to kick out" but "changed his mind". Oh no he didn't...! :good grief:
Mattyblue Posted April 8, 2012 Posted April 8, 2012 Ah but according to Kean there was "no/no great contact" and Modeste "had intent in his mind to kick out" but "changed his mind". Listen Keano knows about these things, he survived Glasgow's mean streets.
Backroom DE. Posted April 8, 2012 Backroom Posted April 8, 2012 Ah but according to Kean there was "no/no great contact" and Modeste "had intent in his mind to kick out" but "changed his mind". Well, considering the paragon of virtue Kean undoubtedly is I may have to change my mind!
FourLaneBlue Posted April 8, 2012 Posted April 8, 2012 Kean always tells it as he sees it. One thing about Kean, you'll never catch him BSing.
Guest Wen Y Hu Posted April 8, 2012 Posted April 8, 2012 Parsonblue's match report is now published to the front page here.
JAL Posted April 8, 2012 Posted April 8, 2012 THREE crosses into our box........ three goals for the opposition....Why ?
Stuart Posted April 8, 2012 Posted April 8, 2012 THREE crosses into our box........ three goals for the opposition....Why ? No Samba? No Nelsen? It it a trick question?
JAL Posted April 8, 2012 Posted April 8, 2012 No Samba? No Nelsen? It it a trick question? No, just asking the question for manager of the year, why where we so vulnerable to crosses thats all.
philipl Posted April 8, 2012 Posted April 8, 2012 29 hours later and I am still utterly mystified as to what our tactics/instructions were at 3pm yesterday.
A cup of beans Posted April 9, 2012 Posted April 9, 2012 I've been away and only really knew the score and sending off. seems like we were utterly pathetic. And what is staggering is kean's tactics, particularly in relation to hoillet!
