patrickvalery Posted April 7, 2012 Posted April 7, 2012 Its clear to me what this side needs; A full back that can deliver consistently good set pieces. A Dennis Irwin type for instance. A rangy center half who can take command at the back. Someone similar to Chris Smalling for instance. And a busy and aggressive center forward who won't give opposing players a minutes peace. An example might be Wayne Rooney. Where oh where could we possibly find three players who could fit the mould? I know, i'm living in a dream world.

roverandout Posted April 7, 2012 Posted April 7, 2012 i thought the ref has been fair, giving to decisions to both teams!!
bob fleming Posted April 7, 2012 Posted April 7, 2012 Come on Rovers!! FFS Chaddy's got a quid on this! And it's that sort of commitment and belief that will keep us up. Actually I took us to win 2 1, fiver. In the manager of the year in waiting we trust... I cant see there being a problem apart from ability, organisation and desire.
Josh Posted April 7, 2012 Posted April 7, 2012 On a positive note the original Willy Wonka is on the telly

patrickvalery Posted April 7, 2012 Posted April 7, 2012 If I bet on a draw can I be half a true fan? Only if you bet 2 quid!
Rovers_Dan Posted April 7, 2012 Posted April 7, 2012 Lookin doomed at the moment. No way should we be losing to a team with bugger all to play for.
Stuart Posted April 7, 2012 Posted April 7, 2012 For those calling for Givet, has anyone thought of the monstrous appearance fee? Which pales in contrast to the monstrous loss in income from dropping out of the Premier League.
hesfromburn Posted April 7, 2012 Posted April 7, 2012 If I bet on a draw can I be half a true fan? Blue half or white half?
Majiball Posted April 7, 2012 Posted April 7, 2012 The players need to try and motivate themselves at half time, Eric Black needs to give them some direction. This does not look like a team fighting for their lives - there's no energy in our play at all. Give them each 3-4 red bulls and see what happens?
ABBEY Posted April 7, 2012 Posted April 7, 2012 Give them each 3-4 red bulls and see what happens? Lock the venkys and venkean in a room of starving bulls
hesfromburn Posted April 7, 2012 Posted April 7, 2012 Close by peds!!! OMG KEAN HAS MADE TACTICAL CHANGES!!!!!!!! TACTICAL GENIUS?
Rovers_Dan Posted April 7, 2012 Posted April 7, 2012 Keith's having a good game though. Actually looks a decent player now he doesn't have to 'scorch the sky' with those pathetic long balls
hesfromburn Posted April 7, 2012 Posted April 7, 2012 WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT SCOTT DANN! THIS GUY IS NOT A FOOTBALLER

BRFC1995 Posted April 7, 2012 Posted April 7, 2012 Started watching wigan game as well as rovers, Wigan doing really well considering they are away at chelsea, my effort seems better spent cheering chelsea on at the minute we look like never scoring at the minute.
