Who's going to leave? Who's going to stay? Will Kean still be here? Venkys? How do we proceed from here?

My hope:

1) Venkys and Kean go straight back to the little ditch they come from/

2) A proper owner comes in and installs proper infrastructure.

3) Curbishley hired and we keep most of our squad barring Hoilett, Nzonzi, Yakubu, & Dann (Please go).

4) We bounce straight back up.

Realistically:

1) Venkys remain as owners and gives Kean a chance to bring us straight back up

2) Attendance goes down to 10k average.

3) Half the squad leaves with freebies coming in to replace them as Venkys try to cut cost more and keep the profits so they can go out with some profit.

4) We stay in the championship for 2-3 season before we have a chance of coming up.

Thoughts?

Some how don't think we will end up in league 1. Venkys would stand for it meaning they would be out before that happen and with new owners we will probably come up. We have a good fan base, great academy etc. It's just a matter of having the right manager and infrastructure.

whoever of the others go down with us will be favourites for promotion and then there are probably 7 other teams who i would imagine are far better set for promotion than we will be, anyone that thinks we will lose half our squad is deluded yak and hoilett guarenteed but who on earth will give pedersen £40K PER WEEK ANYWHERE ELSE along with all the other crap that kean has signed for whom playing for rovers regardless of the division is as high an achievement as they're talent could ever get them.

Newcastle had loads of high earners they could'nt shift in the championship and fortunately for them went straight up with the sack of #### alan smith the only truly awful player (and xisco the camp spaniard possibly but he was loaned out) earning a fortune and not producing. We have a lot more than 1 high earning piece of deadwood to contend with.

Since the Bolton debacle , I have watched the Championship with more interest than usual ..

Take out the Yak, Hoilett,Nzonzi and possibly Robbo (they will move on ) the players that remain wouldn't finish in the top half of the division .In fact we would be lucky to survive another relegation ..

Like you say BRFC 1995 there 7 teams at least who would be better than us not including our fellow relegated clubs...

The likes of Goodwillie,Petrovic and Dann would need another relegation to find there level..
