Let's not fool ourselves does anyone honestly think Allardyce would have stayed longer than another few weeks with these morons in charge?

They haven't spoke a single word of sense or made a single prudent decision since they came in.

Only a few numpties who got a free holiday came back banging on about how they "understood the tradition of the club" and it was all going to be alright because Balaji had promised he'd have a look at Birdy's house.

The rest of us rolled our eyes and listened to the garbage about "growing the brand in India" knowing it meant about as much as if Cobra Beer had decided to sponsor Stacksteads Cricket Club.

'he's read up on the club'.

'he knows his football'

More fool any of you who fell for it.

That is my view. Many on here say they know this and that about the club. Time for them to put up or shut up.

Time for them to give us what they know.

where art though braddock??

Yeah where did that clown disappear to? Two decent results against a shocking Wolves and a knackered Sunderland and he thought we were Barcelona.

5 defeats on the bounce. 20+ games lost. 70+ goals conceded. Says it all really.

Just reading 2 interesting articles on the LET website. SK is bemoaning the loss of experienced players and how it is costing us. Check out in particular the reason he now gives for Ryan Nelsen's departure. Funny that he was saying a few days before he left that he was injured but I suppose he thinks we've forgotten about that now so he can come up with a new story.

I then see that Givet is down at Swansea warming up but was left out of the squad. How does that equate with the lack of experience then if we leave out our most experienced and accomplished defender for a key game and play a totally untried left back instead in a re-jigged back 4? We also have no defender on the bench so have to change things round again because of an injury.

A desperate man thrashing round clutching at straws but in the meantime we are the ones suffering as usual. Merson on SSN was still saying this morning that SK had doine a great job and should be honoured if he manages to keep us up. We are fighting a losing battle that's for sure.

Fully expected to lose and our inability to score just one measly goal has cost me £160 (1 bet @ 3-1)!!!

In all seriousness, never did I expect such an idiotic team selection or for us to lose so meekly with barely a whimper. Only saw the 2nd half but it was truly shambolic with only Robbo & Dunny looking interested.

Looks as though we could have big trouble on the injury front as well with Hanley, Yak & Hoilett all injured.

Strange as this is, despite 5 losses on the bounce, we are still in there - at least in theory! However, it would not surprise me if we lost all our remaining matches as well.

I feel truly sickened and now even more resigned to the almost inevitable.

Like many suggest, for the next home match, the supporters should turn Ewood into a cauldron of hate for Venky's, Kean and the majority of gutless players masquerading in the once proud Rovers' shirt.

Kean said: "We've worked on the bits we feel we can improve on and we'll go down to Swansea and try to do the double over them. They've got a very good home record but we know if we can get a clean sheet and a victory, and then match what we did against Wolves and Sunderland, where we had back-to-back victories and back-to-back clean sheets, then the whole table changes again. We're still confident we can get into a good position."

"At the moment they're not as fluid, they've obviously picked up a couple of defeats," said Kean, who guided his team to a 4-2 victory over the Swans at Ewood Park in December. "We've got to think about how we went about the first game, what was successful, what we can improve on over the last few weeks and put that together. I think it's a good time to go there."

Kean could recall the defender Gaël Givet for Saturday's match. The Frenchman, who has been linked with a return to his home country this summer, has been unable to get back into the side after a hamstring injury. "He's training well, he's available for this game," said the Rovers manager. "I'm sure he'll be disappointed he hasn't been back in the side earlier but we felt the partnership with Grant Hanley and Scott Dann deserved another few matches together. Gaël's back in contention and, wherever he's picked, he'll always give his all and we want to have him here."

Where do you start? That's his pre-match comments of course.

THE BBC'S GUY MOWBRAY.. "Blackburn really needed something today. The only thing they got was an absolute hiding. Blackburn are in a whole lot of trouble. While it was Swansea's day, Blackburn's days as a Premier League team may be coming to an end. Four games to go - you have to think they'll need to win them all. "

Not sure about having to win all 4 games. Sounds like he's loving our demise :angry2:

Wow.. not even sure what to say about that...

Looking at the bench you just knew a defender would come off injured (surely that is why Hanley was replaced).. not one single center back on there.. Martin Olsson on the bench when his useless brother is on the pitch, Givet no where to be seen, a second half defensive unit if you can call them that of Lowe, Orr, Dann, Marcus Olsson.. add Yakuba and Jnr apparently coming off injured, Dunn past it, Peders and Nzonzi with their now usual lack of heart and not one single outfield leader on the pitch..

To those who say no manager would of stayed given Venkys, I am in no doubt that having no manager would be better than having that bald headed fool in charge. Who else would of alienated so many senior players, 99% of the fans and played such clueless tactics.

Busy jabbing forks in her arms and waiting for Hubby Steve to return.

Kean has just blamed the forced substitutions. He said they must definitely win the next two home games and overall get a minimum seven points.
