If I sneak them into the ground I only face being chucked out and I take my son to the match so it wouldnt look good being turfed out and him reporting back to his mum that his dad was removed from the ground. The media know there is a protest before and after the match so Im sure my banners will gain a lot of exposure during these 2 protests

My ex gets used to it lol

I am not to sure this march is a good idea .....If the weather turns for the worse like this morning , there ain't going to be many people marching ...

After the game on the Blackburn End , with loudspeakers turned up playing deafening music ?...What is the point ? We are down !!

It is time for the people gathered at Ewood Park this Saturday , to let Kean and his paymasters know , how the majority feel .

90 mins of constant sustained abuse , get the banners in , like someone said earlier enough of them in the stewards will have to back off ..

Kean Out , Venkys Out and make it loud and as many songs against these fraudsters as possible ...

Kean and Venkys have delibrately relegated the club , for why I do not know ...

A football crowd in full voice is better than a march of a few hundred bedraggled and wet fans ...

Asked if his future was guaranteed should Rovers go down, Kean replied: "I have a contract that runs beyond this season.

"Let's get this season taken care of, make sure that we are in the division and I'm hopeful we can move things on."

Kind of avoided the question really. Is he not so confident anymore?

I have never believed marches might work and I have said why right from the start but the brains trust that is BRAG obviously don;t agree.

Thanks for the offer but I'm not changing my family reunion plans because some blokes I don't know from Adam decided to have a march.

I was born and bred in Blackburn but am now in 'exile' too, albeit Cumbria is not as far away as Toronto, but I manage to get down there on the train every fortnight to visit family and go to the home matches. However I will be on the march, just as I have joined in many of the other protests both organised and 'unofficial', to oppose the destruction of my club. Being a Rovers fan is an important part of who I am, it goes to my very identity. So although no longer resident there, I know what this unique old club means to the town and wish to express my solidarity with the people of Blackburn fighting to save this important part of their heritage.

If for no other reason, then go on the march because Kean doesn't want you to !

Btw, EiT, it is not a 3 mile walk to the ground, more like half that !

100% agree with this + marching just gives Coco a ready made excuse for poor performance, this game as well as the rest of the season.

Marching out, Kean out, Venkys out!

Problem there is your 100% agreeing with giving "90 mins of constant sustained abuse" during the game which the team are trying to win

then saying a civilised march before the game gives Kean a ready made excuse for poor performance?

So you're saying that Kean will use marching as an excuse for a poor performance but he won't see 90 minutes of hell, as doing the same?

Probably just avoiding outright saying he's safe no matter what, as it'd just infuriate the fans even more.

He doesn't appear to be banking on it even if we stay up.

Then again everything he says is a lie

He didn't pull out the classic line of "The owners back me and i have their full support, they can see what we are trying to do here."

Hopefully he fears for his job but it is very unlikely.

Get those banners into the ground, by hook or by crook. We need to send a message LOUD and CLEAR that these scumbags are not going to bully us. Imagine big banners and flyers being held up in each stand, what a sight that would be.

Would holding up a few thousand of these blue glow sticks make more of an impact (with less confrontation) or would it just look naff?

WoW! The xylobands can even be synchronised as used by

Sooner or later the fans have to stand up to the stewards-like Man U fans always get away with standing cos there are so bloody many of them.

We need the Riverside to join in as the stewards are sleepy in there.

Its OUR Club....this is not a 'private' club that can enforce membership rules-its a mass spectator sport.

Sacking him in the summer after relegation would just infuriate fans even more, wouldn't it?

Im afraid it is and always has been a PRIVATELY owned sports stadium. Any sport stadium will have a standard set of ground rules and regulations that are conditions of entry. Depending to what extent those are broken you can be warned, ejected or arrested. There's no breach of human rights either, as those only apply when it's state owned stuff.
