The Prof. Posted April 18, 2012 Posted April 18, 2012 http://www.metro.co.uk/sport/football/896513-anzhi-lead-steven-nzonzi-race-despite-arsenal-and-chelsea-scouting-trips Another 10 million to India then - Venky's must think this money making lark in UK football is easy peasy. (It's a depressing read - be warned)

davulsukur Posted April 18, 2012 Posted April 18, 2012 I dare say Samba might just tell him not to bother going over!
Hughesy Posted April 18, 2012 Posted April 18, 2012 Obviously we dont know if we would ever get to see a penny of it, as we still dont know with Samba, but im sure we could guess. IF it was re-invested, £8m for NZonzi, regardless of the league we are in, I would take.
Rovers_Dan Posted April 18, 2012 Posted April 18, 2012 Most consistent performer in the premier league??
JAL Posted April 18, 2012 Posted April 18, 2012 Looks pretty clear why they have set up an Indian bank account, so that the TV and transfer money can goes straight to them.
AJW Posted April 18, 2012 Posted April 18, 2012 Cant say i'd blame him for leaving ..... i reckon we could loose upto 12 players this summmer
perthblue02 Posted April 18, 2012 Posted April 18, 2012 Anzhi Spending 300 million this summer ! Lets get Russian Gangster's as owner's instead of Scottish ones
Mattyblue Posted April 18, 2012 Posted April 18, 2012 I dare say Samba might just tell him not to bother going over! I dare say he'll be saying kerching.
Amo Posted April 18, 2012 Posted April 18, 2012 IF it was re-invested, £8m for NZonzi, regardless of the league we are in, I would take. Same here. I'd then spend the first £3m on Kim Kallstrom. £1.5m on Andri Sigporsson. And the rest on Jan Kristiansen, Anastasios Skalidis, and Freddy Adu. PROMOTION IN THE BAG.

Backroom DE. Posted April 18, 2012 Backroom Posted April 18, 2012 You forgot Cherno Samba pal. Plays in Norway now, reckon he'd be cheap as
John Posted April 18, 2012 Posted April 18, 2012 Sure Stevie and our posse of agents would be able to easily replace him.
HemelRover Posted April 18, 2012 Posted April 18, 2012 Sure Stevie and our posse of agents would be able to easily replace him. You could replace N'Zonzi with a traffic cone and see no discernable downturn in performance.
AJW Posted April 18, 2012 Posted April 18, 2012 You could replace N'Zonzi with a traffic cone and see no discernable downturn in performance. a little unfair ..... his perfomances lack consistency...
Hughesy Posted April 18, 2012 Posted April 18, 2012 Hate his sulky attitude too - can go for me. One of the players, I couldnt care less if we sold.
roverandout Posted April 18, 2012 Posted April 18, 2012 right now, i couldnt care less if we sold the effin lot of em, apart from robbo and 1 or two others
chaddyrovers Posted April 18, 2012 Posted April 18, 2012 Hate his sulky attitude too - can go for me. One of the players, I couldnt care less if we sold. i agree. really p me off big time on Saturday with his poor attitude think he has got too big for his boots. thinks he is better then he is.
Amo Posted April 18, 2012 Posted April 18, 2012 Nzonzi has the potential to be a top class player. Proved that in his first season here and looked different class when he was paired with Jermaine Jones last year. If his petulance has got out of control, I put that down to the lack of discipline instilled by Kean and the weak-ass midfield that doesn't complement his strengths.

Weren't there already rumours about attitude problems from N'Zonzi when Allardyce was in charge?
Majiball Posted April 19, 2012 Posted April 19, 2012 You forgot Cherno Samba pal. Plays in Norway now, reckon he'd be cheap as That's a cracking shout, we could save money by giving him Samba's old shirt. Good thinking batman.

Tugay-is-God Posted April 20, 2012 Posted April 20, 2012 http://www.dailystar.co.uk/posts/view/154735 You see, can you imagine Stevie ever saying something like that? Some times you've just got to tell it how it is.
Pedro Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 Nzonzi has the potential to be a top class player. Proved that in his first season here and looked different class when he was paired with Jermaine Jones last year. If his petulance has got out of control, I put that down to the lack of discipline instilled by Kean and the weak-ass midfield that doesn't complement his strengths. His petulance is down to the fact that he thinks he is a lot better than he actually is. He is just one of many run-of-the-mill players who grace the ever declining Premiership, and in my opinion he has largely been gash since his debut season. Tim Sherwood wasn't international class and was very one dimensional - but N'Zonzi is a far inferior player than him and not fit to lace his boots... I won't miss him when he has gone because he is one of many overpaid players without the guts and nads to get the club out of the mess we are in.
