maybe Joe , but what value is a player who doesnt want to play any more? , i'm starting to sound like a stuck record but we definately need a right winger with pace , and if Ollsson (the good 1) doenst want to play , a left back

He was a rich young man the day he signed, and was progressing nicely under Allardyce

That just isn't accurate. Sam got one good season (his first) out of him and then he was dropped for a sustained period because he wasn't overly fit and interested.

Both Everton and Stoke have some good players I'd take in px or loan, lots of options. I think this might work out well for us.

I think so too. Pennant could tear apart the championship, and Barkley is immensely promising. I think taking Barkely on loan would help Everton more than Rovers in the long run, but it may be a step toward promotion (that and sacking the manager).

We have Kazim on the right wing....maybe even Vukcevic but I doubt it.....hopefully, but I also doubt it, both Olsson's on the left with Nunes as well......we need a left back, regardless of whether Olsson stays.....he could be moved up to the left, we've seen briefly that defenders don't like defending against Marcus, imagine what Martin would do to them.

86 appearances for Rovers, which is a bit more than one season then dropped.

To be fair, Dunn left because either he or Souey would have been up for murder otherwise. He came back at the first opportunity.

Derbyshire didn't want to leave but clearly didn't feature in Sam's plans and was shipped out little over a month after Sam arrived.

Derbyshire was history the minute he decided to pass a stupid nothing pass into no mans land rather than just run the ball down to the far corner flag.

Let me remind you- we were hanging on to a 2-1 lead against Man City at Ewood, the ball breaks kindly for us out on the right hand side, Derbyshire gathers the ball with about 10 seconds left on the clock, he sets off down field with ALL the field to run into. He goes about 15 yards and then decides to pass the ball back into midfield to nobody in particular for no particular reason, we lose the ball, city move it out wide and then back into the middle, Robinho slots it home, ref blows his whistle and 3 points have just turned into 1.

Brain dead muppet.
