The Rover of Finland Posted July 17, 2012 Posted July 17, 2012 Just seen on sky sports hes goin to Sunderland on a free????? Sunderland suits well. They are used to buy players not really improving their team. Surely he isn´t going for free. Do not expect Rovers getting much more than £3M though.
Hughesy Posted July 17, 2012 Posted July 17, 2012 Just seen on sky sports hes goin to Sunderland on a free????? FREE????
windymiller7 Posted July 17, 2012 Posted July 17, 2012 FREE???? On Sky website it just says no fee has been agreed. Won't be too sad to see him go though TBH.
Josh Posted July 17, 2012 Posted July 17, 2012 Just seen on sky sports hes goin to Sunderland on a free????? No chance, he still has 3 years left on his contract so whatever way Sky reported the transfer would happen is probably not true
yankrover Posted July 17, 2012 Posted July 17, 2012 No chance, he still has 3 years left on his contract so whatever way Sky reported the transfer would happen is probably not true Remember, our team is owned by idiots.
dingles staying down 4ever Posted July 17, 2012 Posted July 17, 2012 Remember, our team is owned by idiots. but when it comes to squeezing those few extra pennies out then they are no dummies. Its just the rest of the running the club they are thick at.
Eddie Posted July 17, 2012 Posted July 17, 2012 It's true, so far they have shown themselves to be no-pushovers when it comes to getting fees for players. Very unlikely that they will let any of our players go on the cheap.
John Posted July 17, 2012 Posted July 17, 2012 Great, more quality & our better players to leave the club not to be replaced.
Rovers_Dan Posted July 18, 2012 Posted July 18, 2012 if big sam brings him to west ham, he'll get him playing well again.
roversR4ever Posted July 18, 2012 Posted July 18, 2012 if big sam brings him to west ham, he'll get him playing well again. Didnt Sam drop him because he wasnt happy with his attitude?
budha Posted July 18, 2012 Posted July 18, 2012 Midfielder Steven Nzonzi has asked to leave Blackburn Rovers following their relegation from the Premier League, manager Steve Kean has confirmed. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/18885096
Damien Posted July 18, 2012 Posted July 18, 2012 I suppose I have been trying to suggest we should support our team but if he has put in a request... Bye bye! Poor work rate and spits his dummy out!
1864roverite Posted July 18, 2012 Posted July 18, 2012 The fool has shown himself for what he is, a spoiled French kid who thinks he is better than he really is. Rovers gave him the platform and he has bitten the hand that has fed him. Get rid and take KEANSCUM with you.
bannedwidth Posted July 18, 2012 Posted July 18, 2012 Won't be missed. He will end up in west ham reserves in 2 years time before moving back home to France plodding around til he retires.
OJRovers Posted July 18, 2012 Posted July 18, 2012 So N'Zonzi is the "one player that has asked to leave" that Kean mentioned? I like how he doesn't count Yakubu and Hoillet in that, not to mention Ollson and Robinson who will be looking to go. More lies from the bald one. Shame to lose another couple of young players (Junior/NZonzi) though through the incompetence of the manager/owners. So much for the youth development squad.

To be fair, the Yak and junior didn't even need to ask. I do expect Olsson to tell him (if he hasn't already) that he wants to go.
Give 'Em the Axe Posted July 18, 2012 Posted July 18, 2012 I'm rather surprised to see the vitriol aimed at the Zonz in this thread. He's a young player with potential. He could do a lot better for himself than knocking around the championship with numbnuts calling the shots. I mean, most of us despise Kean. Imagine what it's like having to work under him? Being objective,it's hard to blame him. If he doesgo to West Ham, Allardyce will get the very best out of him again.
Puffsan Posted July 18, 2012 Posted July 18, 2012 I wont be sad to see him leave. I think he is crap.

How some fans are happy to get rid of young players like Nzonzi who can perform in the PL with no problems at all [especially under Sam], yet welcome 36 year olds who are here for the last pay day beats me.
roverandout Posted July 18, 2012 Posted July 18, 2012 because some fans are blinded by the myth that 'venkys are finally spending some money, even though its mostly on over-inflated wages and over-the-top transfer fees, which none will be coming from their own pocket
bennyboyt11 Posted July 18, 2012 Posted July 18, 2012 See ya mate, cheers for that belter against Everton.
Damien Posted July 18, 2012 Posted July 18, 2012 No one is fooled by the signings... It's just n'zonzi has not been an exceptional player but he has been very good... However, he seems to think he deserves to be playing in premiership... He was the reason we dropped some point in a few games! He needs to take responsibility and play us back into the premiership!
