[Archived] Sky Anytime +

Connected an ethernet cable from my router to the SkyHD box, now have anytime+. Thousands of progs,movies to choose from, all recordable. I'm in an apartment so this is a hell of a boost, didn't have ordinary anytime before.

I love the idea of anytime+, but I've so much stuff recording that I intended to watch, starting watching stuff I didn't is silly.

I find it a bit limited on content for the moment though.

Thing is though Glenn sharing a dish I had no anytime at all, now I've got loads ! Recording 'Event Horizon' in HD right now

I don't quite get that. Why did you have no anytime just because you are sharing a dish? Do you only have 1 feed? That shouldn't matter anyway as dish anytime method just recorded stuff when the box was not in use (ie overnight).

I never used to have it turned on as the content was poor. Find the internet enabled version still quite poor but an improvement. For example why does the ITV channel have hardly any content?

I rang them to cancel movies and save £8 and they more or less begged me to keep them and instead lowered my bill by 12 . Crazy

Only a single feed = no anytime. Wasn't that bothered but now pages of films, can search by title, record and keep. Unlimited internet so it's all good

Just set it up .. Do you have to download everything or can you just press play so to speak?

Start anything downloading, leave it ten minutes then start watching there and then. Can't get over how many films there are.
