hesfromburn Posted April 29, 2012 Posted April 29, 2012 Dont worry time for Keans legendary half time team talks and tactical changes!! Only positive - Could have been worse
jim mk2 Posted April 29, 2012 Posted April 29, 2012 Dunn, Olsson, Dann, Yak also, but Peds is easy target sadly. To repeat, this is not about the players. As long as Kean is here nothing will change
DeadlyDirk Posted April 29, 2012 Posted April 29, 2012 Well the bad news is we've probably just put in our worst 45 minutes of the season, the good news is that by a miracle we're only 1-0 down, we have 45 minutes now to actually try and do something and show a willingness to try and win the game, shame we'll probably see nothing change and end up probably losing 3 or 4 nil after a few late goals.
Backroom Tom Posted April 29, 2012 Backroom Posted April 29, 2012 Shirt swapping at half time? Clearly just riding it out now
AggyBlue Posted April 29, 2012 Posted April 29, 2012 Not 1 shot on or off target. I suppose we had that corner though. That's all that counts. Ah but we've had the ball in their box at least half a dozen times
MarkBRFC71 Posted April 29, 2012 Posted April 29, 2012 Absolute shambles - we're not even trying to win. Next Monday should be nothing more than 90 minutes of Venky's, Kean and the players getting a total barracking. Venky's don't care, Kean's an idiot and the players are gutless.
martypellowe Posted April 29, 2012 Posted April 29, 2012 Givet not coming out 2nd Half? got his Spurs shirt already I noticed that too, strange time to swap shirts? Maybe he's planning GBH and knows he's not coming back out?
Rochdale Blue Posted April 29, 2012 Posted April 29, 2012 The problem is, there is nobody in the dressing room with the guts to tell Kean the clown to change the system
davulsukur Posted April 29, 2012 Posted April 29, 2012 Keano the tactical genius has clearly taken in the Chelsea v Barca and Wigan v Newcastle games recently. Taking Chelsea's defensive masterclass and Wigans formation = winning. Good work Stevie.
Doogs Posted April 29, 2012 Posted April 29, 2012 This is the worst rovers side I have ever seen. league one here we come. Kean the master tactician.
Proudtobeblue&white Posted April 29, 2012 Posted April 29, 2012 If the goons in Pune are watching this, they must be so proud, not one attempt on goal, 8 men at the back, and a team fighting for it's very existence seemingly dying an early death. It really is so very very sad - the fact we are only one down is a miracle. Now for Coco's brilliant half time team talk!
DeadlyDirk Posted April 29, 2012 Posted April 29, 2012 I would say the worst 45 minutes of football I've seen this season from us, but it isn't. That's just how we normally play. Not even a shot on goal though, how pathetic is that in a "must win" game? This looks like a League Two side attempting to play a Premier League team. In a few seasons I imagine that will be the case should we meet in one of the cups. Oh come on now don't exagerate, suggesting we'll only ever be playing Premier League sides in the cups from now on. Don't you know that the league sides get byes in the first few rounds so we'd actually have to win a game to draw any of them. How silly you are.
roverandout Posted April 29, 2012 Posted April 29, 2012 sandro did something that i have been doing all season watching rovers
bob fleming Posted April 29, 2012 Posted April 29, 2012 I noticed that too, strange time to swap shirts? Maybe he's planning GBH and knows he's not coming back out? Fingers crossed
blue_n_white99 Posted April 29, 2012 Posted April 29, 2012 Dont worry time for Keans legendary half time team talks and tactical changes!! Only positive - Could have been worse Have you been reading stevie boys script for half time pep talks
martypellowe Posted April 29, 2012 Posted April 29, 2012 When we go down do you think we'll get an apology? You know what? When we get relegated, if one of the senior players comes out and says "we just weren't good enough, sorry" it would hurt a hell of a lot less. No doubt though we'll just get Kean BS about bad luck and another "promise" we'll come top of the league next season and bounce straight back, long term plan, blah blah blah.
Mercer Posted April 29, 2012 Posted April 29, 2012 Spurs have had their chances and missed them. I'm going for a cunning plan from Stevie and a surprise 2-1 win.
Backroom Tom Posted April 29, 2012 Backroom Posted April 29, 2012 Why do the players get such an easy ride (bar pedersen) is it because Kean is on another level of bad? They aren't blameless either
Hughesy Posted April 29, 2012 Posted April 29, 2012 Pathetic so far, we really need to wake up! And Givet swapping shirts at half time, what's that all about?
blue_n_white99 Posted April 29, 2012 Posted April 29, 2012 I thought Dodgy 'Arry's pre match comment that Coco has done a fantastic job despite what he's had to put up was pure comedy gold, not like old turkey neck to lie under oath.
roverandout Posted April 29, 2012 Posted April 29, 2012 has perdersen and formica actually kept the ball this half?
