Rovers_Dan Posted April 29, 2012 Posted April 29, 2012 Vukcevic looked completely miserable sat on the bench. Poor lad

ChesterRover Posted April 29, 2012 Posted April 29, 2012 Anybody else worried we wont have that crossbar second half?
martypellowe Posted April 29, 2012 Posted April 29, 2012 Hoddle saying it wouldn't surprise him if Blackburn changed formation. Surprise Glenn, you've completely underestimated our Stevie's tactical nous. He probably thinks we need more defenders to sit back and somehow win without playing any football at all.
booth Posted April 29, 2012 Posted April 29, 2012 Can we swap managers for the second half? I don't know about swapping, if he was a horse he'd have been shot.
Backroom DE. Posted April 29, 2012 Backroom Posted April 29, 2012 Oh come on now don't exagerate, suggesting we'll only ever be playing Premier League sides in the cups from now on. Don't you know that the league sides get byes in the first few rounds so we'd actually have to win a game to draw any of them. How silly you are. Could go even further and say I'm silly for assuming BRFC will even exist in a few years time to be fair. With the way Venky's are running the club... Why do the players get such an easy ride (bar pedersen) is it because Kean is on another level of bad? They aren't blameless either Agreed. Kean is terrible and has set us up to lose today but the players aren't even doing the basics. There's no movement when we have the ball, nobody available to pass to. When we get the ball we just hoof it back to Spurs, even if there's no pressure to do so. Speaking of pressure, we never put any pressure on opposition players and we don't tackle a whole lot either, just letting Spurs players run past us with ease. Being out drinking the night before probably didn't help their concentration either.
beerwins Posted April 29, 2012 Posted April 29, 2012 Anybody else worried we wont have that crossbar second half?
Rochdale Blue Posted April 29, 2012 Posted April 29, 2012 I hope Kean the clown is watching Sky at half time. He will learn something from Hoddle and Wilkins. Wilkins rumoured to be viewing property in Pleasington tomorrow!
Kelbo Posted April 29, 2012 Posted April 29, 2012 Spurs have had their chances and missed them. I'm going for a cunning plan from Stevie and a surprise 2-1 win. Spurs have been all over us, game should have been over, but yes, as long as its 1 - 0 we have a chance, providing we dony just defend!!
Baz Posted April 29, 2012 Posted April 29, 2012 Go on Hoddle son, zero to hero in 5 minutes. "have they been on the training pitch together?"favourite bit.
DeadlyDirk Posted April 29, 2012 Posted April 29, 2012 has perdersen and formica actually kept the ball this half? That's a bit harsh, they're not even playing!! ..... Are they?
AllRoverAsia Posted April 29, 2012 Posted April 29, 2012 Spurs have had their chances and missed them. I'm going for a cunning plan from Stevie and a surprise 2-1 win. I want whatever you're on!
Tugay-is-God Posted April 29, 2012 Posted April 29, 2012 One goal down with 45 minutes left to go. We should still be in with a chance but "Stevie" will be too stubborn to change his tactics and even if he did I wouldn't trust him to make the right call.
BigAlan Posted April 29, 2012 Posted April 29, 2012 All we need is Kean to get out his guitar and bust out a Weller number. That should get em fired up
rebelmswar Posted April 29, 2012 Posted April 29, 2012 I don't know about swapping, if he was a horse he'd have been shot. If he were a horse he would have more managerial acumen.
Kelbo Posted April 29, 2012 Posted April 29, 2012 For a prem team, our ball retention has been awful!
FourLaneBlue Posted April 29, 2012 Posted April 29, 2012 This non-performance and the others like it is not the fault of the players....the bald culprit is sitting on the bench. Give it a rest, Jim. Those same players have been spouting to the press about what a great guy Kean is. They have put in poor performances and continuously showed their own lack of bother in our campaign. Kean is a joke, but the players are accountable as well.
G Somerset Rover Posted April 29, 2012 Posted April 29, 2012 Hoilett must have agreed a deal with a club already btw as he was absolutely woeful first half and wouldn't have impressed one of his potential suitors. Also, why is Mongaloid Olsson playing? Martin's fee a little pricey?
DeadlyDirk Posted April 29, 2012 Posted April 29, 2012 Yeh love how the guys in the studio and on commentary have all pretty much slated the tactics and formation yet still somehow managed to avoid criticising Kean for it. I just looked up Untouchable in the dictionary and it has a picture of Steve Kean next to it.
martypellowe Posted April 29, 2012 Posted April 29, 2012 All we need is Kean to get out his guitar and bust out a Weller number. That should get em fired up He left it at the Wigan game with his dog unfortunately
chaddyrovers Posted April 29, 2012 Posted April 29, 2012 When we go down do you think we'll get an apology? no chance. No idea why we are playing 5-3-2??? And if you are going to play that formation why wouldn't you play Nzonzi instead of Formica. we don't have a ball winning in midfield. Also agree with Hoddle comment that we haven't work on that system. Midfield 3 don't see to know where to play. Typical Kean. This is why I want him sack last summer. Totally clueless, Tactically stupid and Team selection don't make sense!
AggyBlue Posted April 29, 2012 Posted April 29, 2012 We are sh!t We are worse than that. Where the feck is the fight, the effort, the spirit.
