Ralfinho
I think this article is a load of rubbish. Its pretty obvious this board gets read by people form the club. So, they have seen what we all have been writing about what is going to happen on Monday night at the match. They have gone away and had a little think and have fabricated this story to get all the media on Kean's side before Monday. If someone did get into the training facility and went for Kean then there would be a police statement saying a man of such an age was arrested on such a date at such a time. There is no comments at all. This story is a complete lie and Rovers should be ashamed of themselves for even thinking it.
perthblue02
This is being discussed in the Steve coco Kean thread, funny made and posted a fake diary yesterday in that thread detailing kean and aggerss plans for Thursday onwards and lo and behold bang on time the bullshit starts in the press. AndyNeil
A, its in the Daily Star - B, the police would have been called - C, somebody across all these social media platforms would have heard a story or whisper about who it was... complete BS in my opinion. Blandy
A, its in the Daily Star - B, the police would have been called - C, somebody across all these social media platforms would have heard a story or whisper about who it was... complete BS in my opinion. A Journo for the Sun reported on Twitter that a fan had got into the training complex and had to be escorted away. He didn't say the fan attacked Steve Kean though - probably more like the fan got onto Brockhall carpark and chanted "Kean out" This is what the reported tweeted Martin Blackburn @SunMartinB Heard there was an intruder at brockhall today. A bloke got in and demanded to speak to the manager. #brfc. He might start on monday night. A far cry from attacking Kean don't you think, is Kean trying to gain the sympathy vote before Mondays game
Mattyblue
Of course he is, I'm sure it hasn't escaped Kean, Anderson and Agnew's notice that the media have turned on him for the first time since the Bolton at home palava.
ChrisyG
Andrew Cryer via Twitter "For all those asking. There was no 'attack'. There was an intruder who wanted to have a 'word' with Kean but nothing dramatic"
Mike Graham
I will run check on the source of the story. My brother was the former "news" editor of the Daily Star......that was before he went to the Sunday Sport!

bypass06
I find this story very hard to believe, Sounds like something the club would put out, to get back some of the sympathy Doughnut has lost, these last couple of weeks. 3 things that don't sit right. 1..No mention of police involvement. 2..No reports in the local paper. 3..The players couldn?t believe what they were seeing. ?No-one was hurt or anything but it left them all shook up." Do me a favour the "intruder" would have had to have stood in line, and waited his turn. KEAN OUT..VENKY'S OUT...INTRUDER IN. E-mail from Andy Cryer...Hi John There was an ‘intruder’ who got into Brockhall. No attack, so not really much to report on.
Mike Graham
I will run check on the source of the story. My brother was the former "news" editor of the Daily Star......that was before he went to the Sunday Sport! Right....2 calls later: the "story" was provided to the paper by telephone from " a Club source".

Baz
So basically a fan walked into Brockhole and asked to speak to Kean, because he's angry at the situation? Hardly earth shattering. It's a long time since I went down to Brockhole, but I don't really remember it being fort knox, more open plan without much in the way of fencing etc.
Lurid Coat
The headline of the follow-up article to this piece should be "Rovers employee fabricates story in order to score Steve Kean sympathy points, even though Steve Kean is only deserving of public ridicule"

Kamy100
Total and utter nonsense. A fan walked into Brockhall (it is very easy to walk into Brockhall reception), the fan was angry and possibly a little drunk, he asked to see Steve Kean in an aggressive manner, the fan was escorted off the premises, there was no altercation on the training pitch or players being left in shock. I can guess which club employee leaked the sensationalised version of this to the Star!
