If anything the players should walk to each end and apologise, no chance of Kean accepting his large share of the blame but I don't think the players should get off so lightly.

They just don't care on the whole

Venkys and Kean are the devil but these players have a hell of a lot to answer for too. The last 3 away performances have been up there with the most heartless I've seen from any team.

I wouldn't be surprised if he had a quiet word with the the third official and staged a fake sending to the stands. It gets him away from the fans but gives the media to say how much he cares and that we should have shown more loyalty.

Nah they'll walk halfway over to each end and maybe Robinson will throw his gloves into the crowd but that's about it

Personally I think Salgado should take it upon himself to do a one man lap of honour during the game, Tugay style

The prospect of there being any kind of lap of dishonour depends wholly on the result tonight.

If we win (which I doubt), the players will come out for a half-hearted shuffle. If we don't, they'll be locked in the dressing room for their own safety.

Kean won't come out either way. The Police will make sure he's hidden away for his own safety.

What a dreadful night it's going to be. Another nine-inch nail in the coffin.

Probably those who never came when we were in the old 2nd division

R.T.I.D.

More likely to be those 40+ that have seen the 3rd division days boycotting, than the under 30s who have only ever seen PL success.

Add me to that camp Tyrone. I have said before how the team and the comraderie was much better in the days when we had nothing and all was an adventure. Yes the Euro trips were fabulous but were expensive and as such meant that great swathes of support could not attend. It is not the football wilderness or oblivion to be out of the 'Premiership promised land' but back into the football real world.

Did Kean partake in last season's "lap of honor"? I can't honestly remember.

He did (at Wolves). Got abused by some and ignored by the majority.

How long he'll remain there depends on a few things.

If Rovers win the game, he'll defiantly celebrate, for a bit, and then disappear.

If rovers loose narrowly or draw, he'll clap and then disappear.

If Rovers are losing heavily, may be down the tunnel before the final whistle!

Whatever happens, he'll be surrounded by a shield of police and stewards.

Well I'm boycotting and I'm in the 3rd Division days camp.

Iam not going again till Kean is gone. I have done my fair share of Fridays in Tranmere, and nights on the Shay, but never felt as low as this.

My guess is he'll do his usual tonight of standing there like the chump he is with his hands in his pockets for the 90 then he'll be gone as soon as the final whistle blows, win lose or draw. Hopefully never to be seen again.

As an aside, anyone else notice on the odd occasions we do score he looks towards the Blackburn End with his hands up, almost like he's taunting us? Maybe it's just me being paranoid but that's what it looks like to me.

Lap of Honour - your having a laugh.

The current squad should hang their heads in shame and think what might have been if they had the bottle and ability of

Got damp eyes watching that. How totally different to today.
