Rover on the Hill Posted May 13, 2012 Posted May 13, 2012 Match of the day interviews, Owen Coyle apologizes to the Bolton fans for their relegation, Coco spouts his usual sh**e. Still no apology from this apology for a manager.
RoyRover Posted May 13, 2012 Posted May 13, 2012 Just plucked up the courage to watch Kean's comments on the BBC website. Oh how I detest that man. The usual combination of lip licking and smirking to confirm that he is lying his tits off. "No looking backwards, only looking forwards." I have full confidence in the man after hearing that.

Sparky Marky Posted May 13, 2012 Posted May 13, 2012 I have to say that birds fit who always sits on't chelski bench.
Amo Posted May 13, 2012 Posted May 13, 2012 It turns out we're just "a club in transition", according to Kean. I don't know what everyone's worried about. We've "taken one step back to make two steps forward". Just "look at Southampton & Norwich" and "the way they've bounced back". Of course, I don't quite remember Southampton & Norwich sticking with the managers who saw them slide down the leagues but hey, who am I to question old lizard lips?
FourLaneBlue Posted May 14, 2012 Posted May 14, 2012 We get worselves on the training ground and wuk hard. All the lads believe in what we"re trying to do..... They can see what we're trying to de here...
AllRoverAsia Posted May 14, 2012 Posted May 14, 2012 I have to say that birds fit who always sits on't chelski bench. She certainly is. Eva Carneiro is a sports medicine specialist and is first team doctor at Chelsea. She was a major reason I watched any of yesterdays game on TV. My link Yesterdays result: Chelsea 2 Rovers 1 Eva 10
philipl Posted May 14, 2012 Author Posted May 14, 2012 Went to the game and to be honest, Chelsea were there for the beating but we looked dispirited and disorganised- everything you'd expect with Coco in charge. Heart breaking to see so many players waving good bye to the fans at the end. The hesitant way they came over to us suggested to me they had been told not to. Still we had a good sing and the Chelsea fans applauded us. "We're going to Barnserlee"
John Posted May 14, 2012 Posted May 14, 2012 Didn't care about the game - got a good backstabbing chant going, feeling rough as hell.
AllRoverAsia Posted May 14, 2012 Posted May 14, 2012 Rovers had no bookings, made 4 fouls and had 34% possession. Good to see us leave the PL on a high note with fantastic stats and intensity. Not that I'm encouraging getting stuck in and I suppose just 4 fouls may be close to another record for a Coco managed team.
perthblue02 Posted May 14, 2012 Posted May 14, 2012 For those that watched the match what did you make of Jake Kean? , Ive just watched a re run of the match, positioning was very questionable, might have just been nerves. As for rest of the team thought we looked very lightweight easily muscled off ball, apart from Yak, considering the Championship is a lot more physical quite a worry

If you also watched it live that was a brave and admirable thing to do. From what I saw of Kean he did come across as nervous which was understandable. I thought he dealt with a low hard shot well in the first half - it could easily have bounced away. I've seen Friedel and Robbo mess that type of shot up. Also in the first half he palmed a cross cum shot into a dangerous area when maybe it should have been put behind. All in all I thought that he has good potential and does 'look' like a goalkeeper.

LOL, No Rovers was only one of three games they didn't show live over here , they showed it about an hour later so recorded it.

SAS Posted May 14, 2012 Posted May 14, 2012 I bet the groin strain ratio has increased recently at chelski.... John Terrys all over it...

"We're going to Barnserlee" Yeah, Givet, Hoilett, one of the Olsson twins (presumably Martin) and even Pedersen all waved goodbye at the end. Kean was no where to be seen, no suprises there.
John Posted May 14, 2012 Posted May 14, 2012 Keano gives us a wave was quite amusing with everyone raising two fingers.
stuwilky Posted May 14, 2012 Posted May 14, 2012 Heard that Chelsea fans were singing "Venkys out" along with the rovers fans. If so, much credit and thanks to them. Didnt see any Baz. They just looked quite bemused at our sense of humour! Great day out! Bizarrely.
davulsukur Posted May 14, 2012 Posted May 14, 2012 Did the owners actually turn up? (will have been asked already so apologies for asking again)

BBC reporter -at half-time yesterday said there was - " plenty of vicious abuse directed at Kean and the owners"
philipl Posted May 14, 2012 Author Posted May 14, 2012 Looked like Jake Kean did well. How did Morris play ? BBC reporter -at half-time yesterday said there was - " plenty of vicious abuse directed at Kean and the owners" Did not have much chance against a well-directed Terry header but think he could have got down to stop the second goal. Yes he made some good stops. Morris ran energetically to not much avail. If Chelsea were up for it, they would have tackled him to oblivion. The chants were good humoured- one attempt at telling Kean to die was self-censored by the Rovers fams so that apart, there was nothing vicious. Just plenty of venom in the delivery.
texasrover Posted May 14, 2012 Posted May 14, 2012 I feel like we need to stop slamming Kean and stop slamming Venky's. We need to be very specific in that we want Anuradha Desai (chicken queen) out. She is the one that has screwed it all up and continues to do so. When we attack kean, or even the venky's company, she isn't receiving any of this criticism directly and can therefore do what she wants. Let's put HER under pressure and maybe just maybe we'll get what we want. I doubt very very much that she is ever challenged by others.
1864roverite Posted May 14, 2012 Posted May 14, 2012 KEANSCUM made me sik when I saw his fat ugly mush on the tv. I wish he would show some dignity and just feck off back to Glasgow or whatever other hovel he claims to be from. A sad ending and good bye to the top league.
