rovers_rob Posted May 8, 2012 Posted May 8, 2012 Hi Andy, have you managed to get any response from Venkys or Paul Hunt ?
A cup of beans Posted May 8, 2012 Posted May 8, 2012 Hi Andy, have you managed to get any response from Venkys or Paul Hunt ? Cheers, Andy! I may ring in tonight. I feel I must thank your personally, for your coverage of Rovers this season. Youve tried your best to get answers to the difficult questions and it is clear that you have Rovers best interests at heart. I appreciate that.
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted May 8, 2012 Posted May 8, 2012 Andy..beware of Clarrotts bearing gifts tonight!
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted May 8, 2012 Posted May 8, 2012 Very interesting so far....a lot of truths being told.
Rovermatt Posted May 8, 2012 Posted May 8, 2012 I'm sorry but I can't find this online. Something called 'Jukebox' only appears to be available.
Amo Posted May 8, 2012 Posted May 8, 2012 Very interesting so far....a lot of truths being told. Tuned in and immediately heard: "...the amount of abuse he's received is outrageous."
Mattyblue Posted May 8, 2012 Posted May 8, 2012 I'm sorry but I can't find this online. Something called 'Jukebox' only appears to be available. It says that, but it's an extended sport show.
bob fleming Posted May 8, 2012 Posted May 8, 2012 Very impressed with Ian Battersby. More sense from him tonight in 75 minutes than 18 months of utter nonsense from the current manager and owners.
A cup of beans Posted May 8, 2012 Posted May 8, 2012 Tuned in and immediately heard: "...the amount of abuse he's received is outrageous." Is it the fact that You only focus on/ hear what you want to ? The Rovers fans have been backed and vindicated. There's been plenty of things discussed, in a frank and uncompromising manner, by people passionate about Blackburn Rovers.
Mattyblue Posted May 8, 2012 Posted May 8, 2012 The media have done their u-turn now, so we no longer need to defend our corner re the kean 'abuse'.
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted May 8, 2012 Posted May 8, 2012 Battersby needs to be involved in some way in this clubs future,he does come across very well.
Rovermatt Posted May 8, 2012 Posted May 8, 2012 This Scouser was doing ok until he wandered into 'Kean's doing a difficult job considering...' territory, thus rendering his opinion entirely moot.
Mattyblue Posted May 8, 2012 Posted May 8, 2012 Battersby HONESTLY saying there is no link between SEM, Venky's and Kean!!!! Dear me.
Amo Posted May 8, 2012 Posted May 8, 2012 Is it the fact that You only focus on/ hear what you want to ? Why yes, this is a new sweater. Thanks for noticing!
Rovermatt Posted May 8, 2012 Posted May 8, 2012 Battersby HONESTLY saying there is no link between SEM, Venky's and Kean!!!! Dear me. Is it me or are they dancing around the issue of Kean's complicity in all this? I realise they have to be careful about what they say outright.
perthblue02 Posted May 8, 2012 Posted May 8, 2012 I'm sorry but I can't find this online. Something called 'Jukebox' only appears to be available. My link Is it me or are they dancing around the issue of Kean's complicity in all this? I realise they have to be careful about what they say outright. Sounds like it and this is my problem with Ian B, business link to JA (mentioned in a previous BRFCS podcast) but other than dancing around SEM / Kentaro/ Kean's part in all this , speaks a lot of common sense.
Jimmy612 Posted May 8, 2012 Posted May 8, 2012 Good man Mike Ferguson, saying it how it is! Pretty sure they were sniggering at him there though!
A cup of beans Posted May 8, 2012 Posted May 8, 2012 Fergie , still a legend ! He was terrific! Get him on a podcast!
Rovermatt Posted May 8, 2012 Posted May 8, 2012 That is an excellent point. Nobody has said sorry. Not even Bradley Orr - and certainly not Steve Kean - could find it within himself to apologise for the relegation.
ross-shire rover Posted May 8, 2012 Posted May 8, 2012 Good man Mike Ferguson, saying it how it is! Absolutely fantastic from Fergie. What a player he was for us and now coming out with the best thing that's been said about the whole sorry situation. Mike Ferguson - now there is a legend !!!!
