[Archived] Steve Kean's Future Set To Be Discussed

Recommended Posts

Thats cos we're all passionate about our club, so we're not very objective! I think Rovers would still be a great job for a lot of managers as long as the owners pull their fingers out. Thanks to Jack the infrastructure is second to none. Also the media don't give a toss about us so not much pressure from them on any potential new boss.,,and expectations are low, a play-off place next year and the manager would be up there with King Kenny!

I'm trying to see the positives! :rover:

Spot on again! I know for fact our infrastructure is far better than some of the 'big' clubs, chelsea in paticular - The only reason they did well at youth competitions is because the one or two expensive foreign imports that carry the team.

The youth final is a prime example, we were head and shoulders above them in quality squad wise.

one thing that doesn't feel right to me -

venky's hired Paul Hunt. He was their man, not someone who was here before. So why did they carry on ignoring him over kean.

I still think there are bigger things at play here, rather than just naivety and kean being a master conman.

What price for Kean's story in the press? He's fooked for earning money from football.

I'd give him free humble pie - for licking the urinals clean at Turd Moor.

Hopefully Sam will clean him out! :tu:

The idea of Kean sitting at home, with a face on him like a slapped arse, knowing that the Rovers fans, who he knows despise him, played a major role in getting him sacked and being sick as dog because of it, is just brilliant! That's another reason why I want this to be confirmed ASAP!

Exactly! The humiliation is the best part. He was so cock-sure that he could do whatever he wanted!

I'm picturing; Mrs Kean has gone out for a drink, with that new skinhead girl from work ;) Kean on the phone to Agnew, tears in his eyes.. struggling to tie a noose -

So true, the humiliation for him would be impossible to swallow. He may even choke on it.

You're a proven loser, a bulls****r, a drink driver and ya couldn't keep ya trap shut in that Chinese bar; and for that reason, Steve Kean...

YOU'RE FIRED!

Seriously, can you imagine Steve Kean trying to pull a fast one with Sugar? Lord Alan of Tottingham would eat him alive.

It shows that Kean's been allowed to prosper simply by being in the right place at the right time and thus profiting from his association with some of wealthy but hugely idiotic people.

Someone needs to release something concrete very soon cos l'm holding onto 1000 party poppers and l'm pretty sure MI5 have got a terrorist lock on me.

Thoroughly enjoyed that post, congratulations.

He'll be alright. The chaise longues at his Surrey residence are probably tipped at an angle so as to to avoid choking. Vomit inhalation whilst asleep in bed is another matter.

On the other side, he's allegedly the one who blocked the sale to the Qataris. if true I'll never forgive him.

Wouldn't surprise me in the slightest. I suggested last week that he would be hugely resistant to any takeover. He couldn't give a ###### about the health of the club. The health of his bank balance and ego are all that matter to the man. He was not simply going to allow his little fiefdom to end abruptly.

HAHA I already got the beers in, me and the missus were only supposed to be drinking tomorrow night but I demanded it be 2 nighter. So if this turns around and Kean is still here I can drown my sorrows tomorrow.

But the thought of Kean being gone has brought such a smile on my face im happily celebrating just that.

Monday Is the word, but Kean is supposdly back now so surley if there is news it will break tomorrow

Going by what's happened previously, Coco will be scouting at Bayern vs. Chelsea tomorrow night, and will without doubt be on the beer. So I'd expect a video of him revealing all in a German Lapdancing club to emerge sometime before Wednesday.

We are talking Venkys here.. and Rovers who lack 90% of your normal bunch of execs (do we not only have an FD atm).. so next week sometime we may hear that with gratitude he has been releaved of his post.. and we will go down with his little ship when he comes forth and tells the world of their dodgy dealings that he was central to.. of course those dealings involved foreign agencies/agents and nothing to do with Kentaro/SEM because Jerome worked all week and slept at the ground to hire unknown people from all over the world for nothing except the warm feeling he gave 1.6m for a 400k player and unknown sum for lil ol formica with of course no return.

The question that needs asking is why, considering this would be the most popular decision in the history of this great football club, hasn't his release been mentioned? Are they ashamed of what they've done, is it an admission of guilt or wrong? Do they consider this to be a bad decision? If so, why?

Its a matriarchal based society.. unless you have worked with and lived with foreign cultures then you would not know the reasons why.. sounds odd but so true, you have to be part of that culture to truely understand their reasoning, I am not being big headed here I failed for the opposite reason I got to much into the culture of Vietnam and lost the British approach and as such lost my job. People need to stop judging other cultures to a degree the world now will equalise itself, with us no where near the top.
