I think we need to consider that for Venkys he has been a loyal employee - so to give him time to consider the options they have put to him isn't unreasonable. As fans we just want back of him - but I suppose we have to be patient and hope for once they make the right decision.

hesfromburn said:Hearing Kean isnt going anywhere and will stay as manager.

please don't come out with things like this it gives everyone heart failure unless you have a good cast iron source comments like this don't help. I also believe Cryer can't say anything else as there is carnage at the club this seems very much like the Keith Andrews saga where West Brom phoned up to inquire about KA and no-one was around to pick up the call as Kamy says total bonkers way to run a football club I only hope after 3 days of hell we get the news we all want but with this it is nigh on impossible to call. Total Shambles!

Got to hand it to Blackpool fans at Wembley as the second loud chant of KEAN OUT goes up in the first 30 mins.

Ever since I started following soccer, I've appreciated Blackpool.

I thought it was the West Ham fans. It was suggested this week that they would be singing it.

I imagine there are a fair few managers who actually envious of Kean and the absolute power he enjoys at Ewood. How many managers / chief executives are unsackable because there is no board in place to sack them ? If the Raos do decide to replace Kean and keep the present structure in place with no chairman and / or chief executive they might be surprised at the number and quality of candidates willing to give it a try.

Probably the biggest faux pas you could make on a football messageboard.

I cannot help thinking , if Kean was still the manager , he would be shouting it from the rooftops ,and SSN presenter White would be goading us big time !

I Asked That Venkat Guy on twitter what was happening and said id been hearing things about him supposedly staying here is was he had to say...

Venkat Ananth ‏@venkatananth

@Kylteaser If he's going nowhere, he would have spoken to the press after he arrived in the UK last night. He didn't, did he?

Best to wait for something official to many different rumoursw flying around..

I have to concur, if nothing at all had changed he definitely would have made it clear to the press by now.

Something is afoot... but for some reason Venky's don't want us to know what it is yet.

West Ham just promoted, so Big Sam heading back up as we're heading down.

So predictable this was going to happen from the moment Sam took that job and Kean wasn't sacked at Ewood...

Better for us, weaker Championship and a chance of Holloway.

And with a team playing in claret and blue as well.

I don't expect Sam to be there next season though - unless West Brom come in for him. We could well be facing him again next year.

Well Cryer doesn't think he's still the manager. He replied with this to someone's question is he still the manager

@CryerRovers: No I don't. But what is he? No idea

I think most of us know, Keans clearly Premiership quality. I'd imagine him being part of Sams back room team next season.

Well done Big Sam in getting West Ham up at the first time of asking. I have no doubt that the owners at West Ham will stick with him. I wonder what Desai thinks now? The guy she deemed not good enough is back in the Premier League while she is having to show the door to her favourite son after the two of them spent 18 months destroying the club.
