[Archived] Steve Kean's Future Set To Be Discussed

Recommended Posts

He has to emerge eventually, and when he does... imagine the bull he's gonna come out with to defend himself! ("my drink was spiked AGAIN" nope done that one Steve! NEXT

Doubt it. We already know Agnew screens what questions can or can't be asked during interviews. He'll just refuse to comment, like he did about Hunt.

Are the above posts about Kean suing for being called a "bell end" serious? Couldn't the accused simply graph Kean's performance has manager and show how it is on the far left hand side of the bell curve (which I what I assume is meant by a bell end), either for all Rover managers through out history or for performance during the 2011-2012 season?

no one knows who's being sued... as per usual Kamy says he has heard but nothing else... rather like he heard of many other things that turned out to be a crock of 'bell end'

here's the link from an arsenal fan page handing out awards... http://www.arsenal.vitalfootball.co.uk/article.asp?a=529324

and a little excerpt...

'However, the ultimate accolade for Bellend of the Season is a shared one. A quartet of colluders that have c******** to rip the heart, soul and remaining vestiges of quality from a previously pleasant, family run club with all the grace and poise of a poultry farmer plucking the feathers from its pheasants. Whilst it`s true that Blackburn Rovers have recently had bona fide bellends such as Mark Hughes, Fat Sam and Robbie Savage in their employ in recent years, the Lancashire club was a steady, respectable Premiership club run with dignity by John Williams. Williams was a man that appreciated Jack Walker`s legacy and Rovers were a club that generally did things the right way and with a measure of pleasantness and stability. Since the Venky`s took over, soothsaying into the ears of Rovers fans with promises of Kaka, Ronaldinho and Champions League football on a £5m budget, the soul has been ripped from the club, resulting in its inevitable relegation and continued a**** s********.'

While Steve Kean is still in charge, people will continue cancelling their season tickets. It makes me smile at the thought of people calling up the club and asking for their money back and when they are asked why, they say because Kean is still in charge. At a well run club, when this information gets to those in charge, you would imagine them getting anxious and doing something about it. With the people we have in charge I imagine them simply

shrugging their shoulders.

When I rang up they didn't even bother to ask me why! Suppose they are sick of hearing it!

Maybe filtering the results then by not asking the question! Statement: people didnt state he was the reason for not renewing, therefore it must be a huge coincidence.

The silence is deafening!

:angry2::angry:

And frustrating. Surely its dragged on far too long for him to be sacked? i don't even understand why they would bother to hide it seeing as tickets are being returned all the time because, as far as we know, this clown is still in charge.

My guess would be complete disunity amonst those in power, two factions at war, no clear leadership.

No organisation run in this manner could ever be successful.

In fact, if you were to sit down and try to come up with a method by which to run a football club into the ground, this would be it.

We're relegated before the season's even started.

I'm still clinging on to the fact that because he hasn't come out and said he is still in charge, then he MAY be on his way. It's not like him to not make sure the press etc know

I am more inclined to thinking that they are actually holding off for as long as possible, making a couple of changes in the backroom staff (Agnew to the board for one) announcing they are the "big changes" Balaji promised and slipping in a half assed statement somewhere in amongst backing Kean.

And Bryan, yep the club is completely fractured at the mo. We are going no where but down unless things get sorted but Venkys just don't seem to want to learn or understand how to run a club well.

All they need to do is look at Blackburn Rovers about 2 years ago to see it.

Could they be waiting until the start of the Euros to announce that Kean will either continue as manager or move to another influential role within the club. This would minimise the chances of massive media attention.

This is my thinking too. Keans ego and mouth are too big for the bald monkey not to start screaming from the roof tops that he has won and the club, fans and everyone who cares about the club have lost.

in my "opinion" finding it quite PATHETIC that legal action is being taken aginst people that post on this forum. Do people have something to hide?

Im at a company where police cant even be bothered to investigate fraud at our company but there more than happy to take action against PETTY comments that only rovers fans read.

Surely this is a free country? FORUMS are for peoples OPINIONS! we have an opinion we post it - simples. We dont state "facts" we state opinions. Can people really be warned for having an OPINION. Or do I just not understand? Please help me understand this logic?

Kean has been spotted about half an hour ago by a mate, sat outside No 1 restaurant in Brockhall, laughing, joking and enjoying the sunshine. Generally not acting like a man who's just cleared his desk.

How dare he be enjoying this glorious weather!

I'm reading Chris Sutton's autobiography 'Paradise and Beyond' at the moment. In one of the chapters while talking about his time at Rovers he says:

"Blackburn was a proper football club and had real supporters who knew the game. They didn't deserve relegation. I had always felt Blackburn Rovers was a friendly and family-orientated club from the top down. The board, with Jack Walker at the helm, were always very kind and approachable. They put the football club's best interests at heart and they certainly didn't deserve this."

Compare this time when were relegated to where we are now after being relegated.

Don't forget if he is sacked he will be getting a huge chunk of compensation. Not sure what that would be on a £1.5m per year contract with 12 months left to run. But a £500k cheque would make me smile ;)

Pathetic AND SINISTER, goings on, .. IF this is the case.

Several Football people live on a completely different planet!

Even, humourous stuff ends in litigation.

I'm reminded of, Mr (Crook) Big Sam.' He got the spook Twitter page 'The Big Sam' closed down!

Highly paid, FAR beyond their abilities, They should stop being so precious FFS.
