Blue blood Posted May 31, 2012 Posted May 31, 2012 Also, the managerial merry-go-round looks be in full swing and the longer our owners fanny around with sacking the buffoon, the more potential decent managers get taken. Rodgers to Liverfool Lambert to Villa Leaves, Swansea and Norwich both looking for new gaffers. I wonder whether without the video of him mouthing off against everyone he's worked with during his time at rovers, whether his media image would have made him a contender for any job. Totally unjustified but it's only recently his media image has utterly sunk. TBH I think we're still a long way away from appointing a new manager. Like getting rid of Venkeys before hand.

bradeagle Posted May 31, 2012 Posted May 31, 2012 That is a cracking response tbf though. May as well say we take your comments on board now f off ha. I may use that as a template to respond to moaning customers of our own!!
Jock Posted May 31, 2012 Posted May 31, 2012 Yes, as much as I dislike Steve Kean, he is spot on. Yes but what about the poor little kitty cats?
Guest SuperAgentJB Posted May 31, 2012 Posted May 31, 2012 It was more about the sheer disbelief that I got a reply... and yes... Put me firmly in my place! Ps You don't think "he who must not be named" is running gear4music.com from switzerland?
Ozz Posted May 31, 2012 Posted May 31, 2012 Well if you wish to boycott them I welcome all new business. We do not Endorse S Kean
Fife Rover Posted May 31, 2012 Posted May 31, 2012 I hope that any manager that comes in demands Kean out of the club completely as well as Venkys appointing a proper Board and backing them with cash. Yes that would indeed be an excellent situation, but unfortunately it would also be the end of the interview for the candidate. Sad that in't it?
AJW Posted May 31, 2012 Posted May 31, 2012 Holloway , has or is moving is family and chickens back to Bath , this happened before the Rodgers to Liverpool link so may not be directly linked , but Holloway to Swansea is where i'd be putting my £1
bradeagle Posted May 31, 2012 Posted May 31, 2012 Has there not been any recent sightings? or is it true he is on hol
Aberdeen Blue Posted May 31, 2012 Posted May 31, 2012 Has there not been any recent sightings? or is it true he is on hol I thought I saw him this morning but it turned out another hefty flush saw the back of it
Ferrit Posted May 31, 2012 Posted May 31, 2012 They won't be looking in Kean's direction that is for sure. I doubt Bamber Bridge Under 14's would either, although you would struggle to find a better role model..... I wouldn't have the clown managing the local corner shop let alone any sort of football team, at ANY level.
barry_ Posted May 31, 2012 Posted May 31, 2012 Has there not been any recent sightings? or is it true he is on hol I seem to recall Cryer saying he's away for 2 weeks on holiday (from last friday)
bob fleming Posted May 31, 2012 Posted May 31, 2012 Holloway , has or is moving is family and chickens If the job wasn't unattractive enough the above fact surely means this is even more of a non-runner. Then again, who knows what goes through Venky's tiny little, pig-ignorant, arrogant heads? "You can have the managers job Ian, but only if we get your chickens.... mhawhahahahaha... oh and you keep the Chief Exe... sorry, keep Stevie..."
Andy Posted May 31, 2012 Posted May 31, 2012 I thought I saw him this morning but it turned out another hefty flush saw the back of it
chaddyrovers Posted May 31, 2012 Posted May 31, 2012 Holloway , has or is moving is family and chickens back to Bath , this happened before the Rodgers to Liverpool link so may not be directly linked , but Holloway to Swansea is where i'd be putting my £1 well I wouldn't be now that Greame Jones, wigan number 2 to Martinez is now talking to Swansea over the manager job!!
EwoodDawn Posted June 1, 2012 Posted June 1, 2012 Wasn't 'wait til next month' the gist of that interview? Well, Mr Rao, it is next month now. Care to fill us in? It's an historic bank holiday weekend over here, where a little story about a little Championship football club would be buried under other more interesting stories, so you wouldn't get too much hassle from those nasty press guys. Go on, Mr Rao, you know you want to give us something else to celebrate this weekend. Please persuade your sister...
neophox Posted June 1, 2012 Posted June 1, 2012 Is there something special happening today 1st of june? I mean is contracts expiring etc today? Players release?
neophox Posted June 1, 2012 Posted June 1, 2012 I know its two days old but, its a hope: sportingintelligence @sportingintel MT @Northern_Rover Venky's Source says Kean future still in air, potential managers identified but Mrs D STILL undecided. < heard same #brfc Retweeted by Northern Rover 30 May Northern Rover @Northern_Rover No idea who managers are who would join Rovers, my guess Curbs and McCarthy, know for a fact Bala likes Holloway. They will have conditions. 30 May Northern Rover @Northern_Rover The good news is that from what my source has told me there are managers who would take Rovers job if Kean removed. 30 May Northern Rover @Northern_Rover position, this also explains Kean's silence since he returned from Pune, not like him to remain quiet. Let's see what happens.......
Stuart Posted June 1, 2012 Posted June 1, 2012 Any credible manager who follows Kean will be a folk hero. Probably even some non-credible ones! One thing is clear, unless it's obviously another Venky stooge, the fans must unite behind any new manager. Ah, who am I kidding, he's going nowhere is he?
broadsword Posted June 1, 2012 Posted June 1, 2012 Ladies and gentlemn, please welcome your new manager ... Jerome ANDERSON! Couldn't happen ... could it?
booth Posted June 1, 2012 Posted June 1, 2012 Ladies and gentlemn, please welcome your new manager ... Jerome ANDERSON! Couldn't happen ... could it? More likely Myles Anderson, player manager. He's a good thinker.
Cocker Posted June 1, 2012 Posted June 1, 2012 More likely Myles Anderson, player manager. He's a good thinker. But Chris Smalling has been involved in any sort of management yet has he?
