[Archived] Steve Kean's Future Set To Be Discussed

But Chris Smalling has been involved in any sort of management yet has he?

That makes him even more perfect. Untapped talent, hungry to succeed and eager to please! He's a good thinker.

Wasn't 'wait til next month' the gist of that interview? Well, Mr Rao, it is next month now. Care to fill us in? It's an historic bank holiday weekend over here, where a little story about a little Championship football club would be buried under other more interesting stories, so you wouldn't get too much hassle from those nasty press guys. Go on, Mr Rao, you know you want to give us something else to celebrate this weekend. Please persuade your sister...

No in the longer version of the interview at the end when asked if the manager would know within 4 weeks, the turnip said no lots of decisions need to be made.. we pretty much know they are useless at making quick decisions so I doubt we will hear anything until July, and my money is still on the clown staying.

Is there something special happening today 1st of june? I mean is contracts expiring etc today? Players release?

Pretty sure end of June is the time contracts expire.

This is from yesterday. I wonder if they know more documentation is coming their way or if he is purely speculating there is more out there.

@sportingintel

That's it - site test over. Next real stress test comes when next bundle of #rovers documents drops .... ; )

I think Nick Harris is waiting for a final piece of the jigsaw to land, if and when it does, I would expect fireworks.

Think Steve Kean or Steve Bruce would be great for Blues if Hughton were to go,or maybe a return for Big Eck? #bcfc

Some people never learn. The other day I got "if you had just got behind the team you probably would have finished mid-table".

I would like nothing better than for him to leave us for another job. We could be free and the rest would see him #### up that team as well.

Article in the Today's Sunday People(no link available till later today)

Steve Kean wants Blackburn's owners to give him £15 million to spend to get Rovers a return to the big time.

Kean is in talks with Venkys about giving him the cash to land instant promotion- an achievement he needs to save his job.

And the sum would see him buying better players than the recruits that cost the club relegation last season when Blackburn's transfer affairs were hit and miss.

Kean also wants to be put in charge of signings - unhappy that some players signed last season were done against his wishes.

The budget request will be a further test of Kean's relationship with Venky's, who are split over him staying on as manager.

Another Nixon story on what Kean wants.

Not once has Nixon ever been critical of Kean the manager or the rubbish spouted from his mouth.

Tabloid, plus it provides a steady income. Sacking Kean means more work to get back inside for Mr. Nixon.

As far as I'm concerned Kean told us to judge him at the end of the transfer window ---------August 2011.

I did what he asked of me and no stratagem of his to carry on scamming us for another year will fool me.

Presumably he's now blaming Venkys for relegation after telling us the owners had always given him everything he asked for.

I had allot of time for Alan Nixon a couple of years back, he brought a bit of interest back to this site, but has Kean lovin has blown that. If ever a man was blowing smoke up someone's arse for his own gains it's Alan Nixon, he's a disgrace.

START TELLING THE BLOODY TRUTH MAN, GROW A BLEEDIN BACKBONE - KEANS USELESS & YOU NOW KNOW IT, SURELY????

Back to my cornflakes.......
