Proudtobeblue&white Posted June 16, 2012 Posted June 16, 2012 It has a Mafia feel to it now. Very frightening, I read Glen's guarded posts, and hope, but it just stinks otherwise.
Guest Posted June 16, 2012 Posted June 16, 2012 Oh and, Why isn't MG Road still on here banging on about how its the fans' fault?? I don't remember saying that.
Stuart Posted June 16, 2012 Posted June 16, 2012 I don't remember saying that. How come you are no longer afraid to post on here? We had a whole thread vanish into the ether because of your concerns.
Guest Posted June 16, 2012 Posted June 16, 2012 I've been chatting away via PM to anybody who wants to talk. The board has been a bit quiet lately.
Majiball Posted June 16, 2012 Posted June 16, 2012 I don't remember saying that. Are you suffering from venkyisum?
Amo Posted June 16, 2012 Posted June 16, 2012 No offence but I haven't missed his pearls of wisdom. He couldn't keep his story straight from one week to the next. Which proves beyond doubt that he's one of Venky's minions.
Stuart Posted June 16, 2012 Posted June 16, 2012 I've been chatting away via PM to anybody who wants to talk. The board has been a bit quiet lately. Is Kean going to be sacked? LIKE YOU SAID...
Jock Posted June 16, 2012 Posted June 16, 2012 Is Kean going to be sacked? LIKE YOU SAID... And is he enjoying being Bell-End of the season?
Miker Posted June 17, 2012 Posted June 17, 2012 So if Kean had no say in transfers last season and neither did SEM/Kentaro, then how much influence does he really have?
chaddyrovers Posted June 17, 2012 Posted June 17, 2012 venkys to decide whether back the manager or sell up. http://twitpic.com/9xdd10
gumboots Posted June 17, 2012 Posted June 17, 2012 She's to take a break then decide! No break needed -just take the money and go and give incoming owners half a chance.
Backroom Tom Posted June 17, 2012 Backroom Posted June 17, 2012 Can't resist a bit of pro Kean spin can he? Couldn't save us from relegation? More like drove us to relegation in Venkys car!
chaddyrovers Posted June 17, 2012 Posted June 17, 2012 She's to take a break then decide! No break needed -just take the money and go and give incoming owners half a chance. No Break need Mrs D!!! SELL ROVERS TO PROPER OWNERS!!! U have wreck this club! Get into talks with the Battersby/Currie/Khan bid now and sell the club to them!!! They have the money there to buy the club and Battersby and Currie are proper Rovers fans with a Business background and in Football.
Stuart Posted June 17, 2012 Posted June 17, 2012 I particularly like the line about them having bought the club for £23m. Following the dismantling of the boardroom, management structure and playing squad, resulting in a devastating loss of millions and millions of pounds in income due to relegation... ...they now want £30m?
gumboots Posted June 17, 2012 Posted June 17, 2012 It's like the Danny Murphy story yesterday though isn't it? We haven't had a word about anything so someone decides it's been long enough and if nobody says anything even the sceptics will realise there's summat up so they throw a sop then retire to the bunker till it's too late and we're even more screwed than we are now. They've no intention of doing anything until the cash is all gone but of course they can't actually say that.
Roversider Posted June 17, 2012 Posted June 17, 2012 Is Kean going to be sacked? LIKE YOU SAID... In defence of anyone directly connected with the club I can't say I'm surprised that it's proving impossible to understand what is going on in Pune. The only thing that you can say is that the owners are split into different camps but that the casting vote is always Mrs Desai. So if you listen to Balaji or Venketash then you may well hear a commitment to do one thing e.g. "Steve Kean is going" and that is genuinely believed by them only to find it trumped by Mrs Desai who holds her own view. Of course this is all supposition but all the indications are of a paralysis at the top caused by an inability to come together. On that basis you can understand how someone might have heard first-hand a comment that turns out is undeliverable when the 'decision makers' (that's a bad joke) get together. Hence the confusion. Heaven help us.
47er Posted June 17, 2012 Posted June 17, 2012 On the basis of his record ALONE he should have been sacked long ago. On the basis of that drunken rant ALONE he proved himself unfit to be manager So------what the hell is there to discuss? Everyday he stays reinforces that conspiracy theories are not fantasy.
John Posted June 17, 2012 Posted June 17, 2012 Can't resist a bit of pro Kean spin can he? Couldn't save us from relegation? More like drove us to relegation in Venkys car! All Nixon purely goes on about on Twitter is how much money they are going to put in - nothing about changing the manager or having a normal structure in place at the club. Never a word about the manager, his record, or how we could improve on that - as we know, he clearly has an inside line to the Kean camp but his defence of him is ridiculous.

Isn't this the first time he has indicated that venkys are considering selling. There is also no words in today's article in support of kean.
Backroom DE. Posted June 17, 2012 Backroom Posted June 17, 2012 Was it not Nixon who broke an "exclusive" saying Venky's were looking for a buyer because they wanted to sell the club? Now suddenly it's a decision to be made. Hmm.
John Posted June 17, 2012 Posted June 17, 2012 Isn't this the first time he has indicated that venkys are considering selling. There is also no words in today's article in support of kean. No he has said it before, a few times, story was his originally of Goldman Sachs looking for buyers at £30 million. Most others in the media think Agnew is a joke, Kean is not a manager but not good old Nicko - only seems to care about how much money they give to the manager. Can tell he avoids discussing the merits of Kean actually being in the role of a football manager.
ABBEY Posted June 17, 2012 Posted June 17, 2012 I don't remember saying that. DON'T tell lies !!! You did !! Is Kean going to be sacked? LIKE YOU SAID... Exactly... He is full of it.
Amo Posted June 17, 2012 Posted June 17, 2012 venkys to decide whether back the manager or sell up. http://twitpic.com/9xdd10 Nicko's so full of ####.

Anyone so clueless would only waste it anyway.
