Clairemorris Posted May 12, 2012 Posted May 12, 2012 Is he far more important than just a manager of the club if this is true. How can someone who is so inept be kept in the job, it defies all reason & sense.

Salgado Is A Hero Posted May 12, 2012 Posted May 12, 2012 Nice one Stuart.....an absolute joke but I'm more than used to it by now. I don't expect fellow fans to be that knowledgeable but it's the fact that they don't apply common sense to our situation. As in like we used to play well until we protested or something. Or how he has handled himself with "dignity" and "done a pretty good job in the circumstances" ignoring the fact that he has all week to prepare for the game before it's the players that go out and play during whatever protests are occurring. I doubt the Venky's are our real owners tbh. I'm tempted to not start following Rovers again until at least Kean goes but I highly doubt I will be able to. If any billionaires are reading this you know you want buy Blackburn and take us back where we belong.
JAL Posted May 12, 2012 Posted May 12, 2012 How can someone who is so inept be kept in the job, it defies all reason & sense. You have to ask is he some sort of part owner in the club.
ad0102 Posted May 12, 2012 Posted May 12, 2012 Only an educated guess but, if he was going to be sacked then I don't think it would be done in person and so I think he will stay. Also, if they have any thoughts of selling the club then they may as well keep him than pay him off. No good news this week and still no season ticket for me
jodrell Posted May 12, 2012 Posted May 12, 2012 Crash landing? Kean urges Blackburn owners to invest parachute payments http://www.mirror.co...n-owners-829860 I don't think they have told him they have already spent it.
Ferrit Posted May 12, 2012 Posted May 12, 2012 Agnew as CEO.... Yes, because that's the logical career progression from press officer? Someone needs to take a hit out on this ****
ad0102 Posted May 12, 2012 Posted May 12, 2012 I don't think they have told him they have already spent it. Spot on - parachute payments will be used to cover running costs . Income from ticket sales will barely cover wages of Kean, Agnew and agents fees for a year
hesfromburn Posted May 12, 2012 Posted May 12, 2012 The way they describe Agnew as one of Keans closest allies shows how stupid this all has become. I guess we the fans are the Germans and and Proposed takeover will be the americans arriving late.
RibbleValleyRover Posted May 12, 2012 Posted May 12, 2012 'Yes-man Keane' escapes the axe at Blackburn despite revolt Read more: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2143521/Steve-Keane-escapes-axe-Blackburn.html#ixzz1uh0kYi2W If true then there is no hope whatsoever for Rovers.

More conjecture from our friends at the media.
bob fleming Posted May 12, 2012 Posted May 12, 2012 Crash landing? Kean urges Blackburn owners to invest parachute payments http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/steve-kean-has-urged-blackburn-owners-829860 "Steve Kean bought himself and Rovers owners more time today by spouting the same rubbish / lies as per the last two transfer windows. "blah blah blah cliche cliche" said the millionaire managerial loser and basket case. "Meanwhile reports from India suggest 40% of Rovers staff will lose their jobs this summer thanks to the actions of Venkeanson. The FA, PFA, EPL and LMA were unavailable to pretend they give a flying feck, after all, City might win something tomorrow and it's really exciting. "Suggestions elsewhere that Rovers will go into Administration during the summer were dismissed out of hand for the moment while there are parachute payments to collect and players to sell. All of which will be paid straight into an Indian Bank. Rovers fans don't need reminding how hard it is to get money out of India at the appropriate time."
Andy Posted May 12, 2012 Posted May 12, 2012 I need to stop coming on here and reading what the rags are quoting Kean on. Winds me up so much. The man is an absolutely deluded incompetent parasite. I don't care whatever it takes, we just need him away from our club or we'll be looking at League 1 football in 12 months time...
steverovers Posted May 12, 2012 Posted May 12, 2012 He says he speaks to the owners every day - you think they would be fed up with the gibbering idiot by now!
Rovermatt Posted May 12, 2012 Posted May 12, 2012 Unsurprised by Kean's continuing fallibility. The man is a cancer and only an aggressive intervention will get rid of him.
broadsword Posted May 12, 2012 Posted May 12, 2012 He says he speaks to the owners every day - you think they would be fed up with the gibbering idiot by now! What would he have to speak to them about every day if he was only the manager? De facto CEO.
BuckyRover Posted May 12, 2012 Posted May 12, 2012 Unsurprised by Kean's continuing fallibility. The man is a cancer and only an aggressive intervention will get rid of him. The prognosis for the patient is not good
John Posted May 13, 2012 Posted May 13, 2012 People saying Colin Hendry poised to join up with Kean (addition to backroom staff).
dingles staying down 4ever Posted May 13, 2012 Posted May 13, 2012 People saying Colin Hendry poised to join up with Kean (addition to backroom staff). He signed up last week, when he sold the fans down the road.
Puffsan Posted May 13, 2012 Posted May 13, 2012 great. A drunk gambler who stole from his neighbours. just what the club have missed
