arbitro Posted May 13, 2012 Posted May 13, 2012 Rovers legend though and you never know he could get through to kean Sorry but he passed the legend status with his sycophantic sucking up to Kean. Another mercenary - don't forget he jumped ship twice for better offers. Cult status maybe because he was a character and showed his arse before every game but legend - not for me. Tugay and Simon Garner are the two real legends for me.

chaddyrovers Posted May 13, 2012 Posted May 13, 2012 here is Colin Hendry story in SP http://lockerz.com/s/208603881
Puffsan Posted May 13, 2012 Posted May 13, 2012 well colin has had personal problems after the death of his wife, but he should have dealt with it differently, and at least apologized to people he has used. You don't get legendary status for life from me. a couple of slip ups and the status is gone Its like with Ryan Giggs. I had so much respect for him. Top professional for 20 years, seems like a decent bloke, looks humble. Bu he go an (Please don't use that word again) his brothers wife, a man who can probably get any woman he points at. From that moment he is a scumbag, a piece of junk. Will never respect him again. 'when united fans write stuff on facebook like "GIGGS 900 GAMES TRUE LEGEND" i just shake my head. sir alex should have given him the boot out of the door. im glad rovers can help out a ex player to get back on his feet and all that, but im unsure of hendrys motivation for joining rovers, and i know Steve keans motives for signing him. wont work on me coco
Backroom Tom Posted May 13, 2012 Backroom Posted May 13, 2012 No to Hendry, he doesn't deserve it personally or Professionally I'd say (even if all the the rumours aren't true we aren't a charity) Kean, Agnew and Hendry FFS
adsfortheblues Posted May 13, 2012 Posted May 13, 2012 People saying Colin Hendry poised to join up with Kean (addition to backroom staff). Makes sense the man is a crook just like kean, cant stand him.
AggyBlue Posted May 13, 2012 Posted May 13, 2012 So Kean (or Anderson) is doing all the hiring and firing, even the CEO it seems. Are people sure he's (or Anderson) not a stakeholder in our club?
Moderation Lead K-Hod Posted May 13, 2012 Moderation Lead Posted May 13, 2012 Found it tough to forgive him after he went to Rangers and said he was 'going home', then not too long after he rocks up at Bolton....
AggyBlue Posted May 13, 2012 Posted May 13, 2012 Makes sense the man is a crook just like kean, cant stand him. We'll have the most distasteful set of clowns ever assembled at one football club. The Venky induced nightmare reaches new levels of horror.
ross-shire rover Posted May 13, 2012 Posted May 13, 2012 I just can't believe that Venky's really are successful business people. EVERY decision they've made re Rovers has been utterly wrong at every level. Colin Hendry was a great player but since he's retired he's made nearly as many stupid mistakes as Venky's. We know he's gone through great personal tragedy, but he's shown a penchant for drinking, gambling, dishonesty and a total disregard for the fans. Cue Venky's signing him up........ The nightmare goes on and on and on and on.... For me the worst thought of all is that even if they ever decide to sell Rovers what are the chances of them making the right decision and selling to a suitable new owner... NONE !
dingles staying down 4ever Posted May 13, 2012 Posted May 13, 2012 What betting....Hendry is new manager......Kean is new CEO
Mercer Posted May 13, 2012 Posted May 13, 2012 IMO, Hendry's 'brand image' is now very badly tarnished from both a footballing and personal point of view. His support for Kean is also sickening. IMO, Hendry's only concern is himself. I would not like to see him anywhere near our football club again.
AllRoverAsia Posted May 13, 2012 Posted May 13, 2012 Coco planning for next seasom courtesy of SkyShite SkyShite The deluded one says: ''Using that parachute money and other finance and investment will be the key to building the squad. I'm very confident we will get a good proportion of the money." And I for one am very confident you will not.
RibbleValleyRover Posted May 13, 2012 Posted May 13, 2012 Coco planning for next seasom courtesy of SkyShite SkyShite The deluded one says: ''Using that parachute money and other finance and investment will be the key to building the squad. I'm very confident we will get a good proportion of the money." The moron never shuts up. "The individual programmes they have been given by myself and the sports science team will help in this very physical league." It wouldn't surprise me if we start the season with many crocked players if Kean has designed a fitness program considering his sheer incompetence.
chaddyrovers Posted May 13, 2012 Posted May 13, 2012 Kean says we need a strong squad for next season http://www.rovers.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10303~2767633,00.html
Puffsan Posted May 13, 2012 Posted May 13, 2012 What betting....Hendry is new manager......Kean is new CEO if that happens, what will the fans do? Surely protests against kean but will fans turn on hendry?
Ewoodbhappy Posted May 13, 2012 Posted May 13, 2012 Sorry but he passed the legend status with his sycophantic sucking up to Kean. arbitro Posted May 13, 2012 Posted May 13, 2012 Kean says we need a strong squad for next season http://www.rovers.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10303~2767633,00.html He never misses a chance to big himself up does he? "I was involved in the Fulham staff that won their first 13 matches in the Championship" Yes you were you turd, as the BBC man
Majiball Posted May 13, 2012 Posted May 13, 2012 "There must be a blend. We have had a very young side in the Premier League and we need to make sure that we have got the experience which can help us through. It's not 18 months ago that fans were calling for younger signings as we were getting on a bit. Your the moron who's sold all the players and signed dross during that time and so are responsible for the in-balance in our squad. And yet you bemoan your own actions? What sort of moron uses his own choices as an excuse for their own ###### poor performance? "Using that parachute money and other finance and investment will be the key to building the squad. I'm very confident we will get a good proportion of the money." Your dealing with people who's currency is like confetti. A good proportion is all about perspective and so any amount could be 'good'. Your the man who's decimated this squad removing everyone with any experience as they challenged you constantly. One can only assume that no matter the subject once your mouth piece is open sh1t flys out regardless. I hope your not a spitter. He added: "They've all got their start-back date for next season. They know what pre-season programme they are going to be doing. Fantastic, we've all seen your brilliant programs before. It was bloody obvious we would start the season poor and we did. "The individual programmes they have been given by myself and the sports science team will help in this very physical league." We've been off the pace all season fitness wise and you reckon we'll cope in a more physical league? Good luck Coco, fitness can win you games at that level. If your prep's anything like last year we'll get battered. "We are playing against a team which has got one eye on another competition. "We want to go out and acquit ourselves. We have been to other tough away grounds this season and I think there is always something to play for." We have nothing to play and given how the atmosphere must be given we've been relegated, you think that's an advantage? Obviously we have tough away games this is one of the best football competitions on the planet. We've been trying to acquit ourselves all season and fallen by the wayside, good luck. But you never know Coco, even tramps find the odd quid or on the streets so perhaps it's your day?
Rovermatt Posted May 13, 2012 Posted May 13, 2012 What betting....Hendry is new manager......Kean is new CEO Would be very clever. They know the fans would be slow to turn on Hendry, regardless of his personal affairs and the gibberish he's spouted about Kean. If the fans did turn on him, they could easily be castigated in the press for failing to support one of the club's great players.
T.J.Newton Posted May 13, 2012 Posted May 13, 2012 Why Cant people get that ONLY your name should be put in the comment box for the petition , great response so far though, id like to know how its GUARANTEED to be read by Mrs.Desai?
funny-old-game Posted May 13, 2012 Posted May 13, 2012 "The key is making sure that the money which we get is spent wisely. I think you can be shrewd and really astute in getting the proper players in." Steve Kean. Yes and we all know how good your signings have been!!!!!!!
Aberdeen Blue Posted May 13, 2012 Posted May 13, 2012 "I'm very confident we will get a good proportion of the money." Oh aye Coco, I'm sure that you and the "shyster who cannot be named" are already working on plans to ensure you get a good proportion of the money you gobshyte.
Steve Moss Posted May 13, 2012 Posted May 13, 2012 The deluded one says: ''Using that parachute money and other finance and investment will be the key to building the squad. I'm very confident we will get a good proportion of the money." To my thinking, this comments implies two things: 1. As a "good proportion" is not all, some of the parachute money will not be re-invested into Rovers. 2. As a "good proportion" is a subjective statement, and Kean is relentlessly positive/deluded, most of the parachute money will be invested into something other than the Rovers. I think something is rotten and an additional relegation is on the horizon.
Guest Wen Y Hu Posted May 13, 2012 Posted May 13, 2012 Why Cant people get that ONLY your name should be put in the comment box for the petition , great response so far though, id like to know how its GUARANTEED to be read by Mrs.Desai? We have it on good authority that she listens to the podcasts and we know that there are members of staff who monitor the site and report to her. However, with regard to the petition, we have arranged for it to be sent directly to her. To be honest, though, with over 700 signatories in the first 90 minutes there will be no hiding this one from madam. As you say, a great response.
Majiball Posted May 13, 2012 Posted May 13, 2012 No cards in the first half at all, nice to see us going down fighting.
