Recommended Posts

Think theres been a mix upwith the contract talk on twitter , Steve Kean as been instructed from the grassy knoll to give Venky's a new contract so they can carry on their role as the public face owners of the club.

Here you are Venkys, the win percentage of Blackburn managers since the start of the premier league. (Apologies if this has been done already)

1. Kenny Dalglish (52%)

2. Mark Hughes (43%)

3. Graeme Souness (40%)

4. Ray Harford (37%)

5= Roy Hodgson (35%)SACKED

5= Sam Allardyce (35%)SACKED BY VENKYS

7. Paul Ince (28%)SACKED

8. Brian Kidd (27%)SACKED

9. Steve Kean (25%)STILL EMPLOYED BY VENKYS

(Tony Parkes over two caretaker spells 33% & 42%)

Surely Steve Kean doesn't have a future to discuss???

It should be pointed out that Ray Harford showed some dignity and resigned when he realized he wasn't up to the job.

This Should be all the evidence needed to pull the trigger. Whatever the reasons for keeping him, it's obviously not for Footballing reasons.

India is a place with many things going for it, but I would have to say respect for life - especially those with little status or wealth - is not one one them.

I have always said that this is how I believe Venky's view the Rovers fans. We are the serfs, the lowlings, the ones who wash their cars and cut their lawns. Who are we to tell them, the elite of Indian society, to do anything? It would go against everything that they have ever experienced and believe if they were to give into the demands of the underclass. I believe that has a major say in why Kean still has a job.

So the point of this post is....?

I like you as a poster, Mercer, but posts like that one are pointless. Either leak the damn thing on an anyonmous twitter account, a blog or even Venkyleaks (do it from an internet cafe if you fear the legal implications) or say nothing at all. Posting "I've heard something bad but cannot say anything more" surely serves no purpose.

Take your point.

Have asked someone for an opinion on it and will take it from there.

Missed the point in terms of all of the advice they have avoided from people who they (should) see as a higher class/educated. Granted, they will see the mainstay of fans as "serfs" for the reason you mentioned- (at least they seem to up to this point)

I simply think the previous post asking the questions about who the club is being run for, is the major say in why the bald moron still picks up a cheque.

i know this counts for very little but i have to get it off my chest because i can't stand Kean and want him out. Allegedly he was having a great time at Anfield on the ale after the game against Chelsea (in the lounge). I'm sure we got relegated the day before? Up yours Kean you smelly trout.

In one of the papers I remember reading the Liverpool V Chelsea match report,

'Steve Kean was in attendance just the day after his team's relegation- professional to the end'.

He was on another jolly! Free ticket, hospitality.

What a grafter.

Steve Kean will be rewarded a new contract because he's done everything he set out to do, mission accomplished. You get rewarded for succeeding.

###### to libel, Venkys can lick my plums, in my mind their intent has always been to get this club relegated and milk it for all it's worth. Kean, as incompetent as he is was obviously the right man for the job.

You can't even pretend to try and justify it.

If it happens, I wouldn't expect us to sell any further S.T's and I would expect many of those who have renewed to look to cancel.

IMO, it really would be a two fingered salute to all supporters and would signal the end of our club.

I would cancel my two that day. Would be another slap in the face to the fans.

Shockingly, Steve Kean expects to get a new contract at #BRFC

I have heard this for a little while now and have flagged on this MB.

It would be of no surprise.

Wasn't that the guy who confirmed we had signed Honda...amongst other crap...?

What's to debate. QPR sack manager who isn't succeeding, they appoint proper manager, stay up.

Sunderland not doing very well, sack manager, appoint proper manager, sail up the league.

Aston Villa under perform, are about to sack manager.

Wolves sack under performing decent manager, don't appoint proper manager, go down.

Venkys get rid of proper manager, appoint a non-manager, we get relegated.

There's a pattern emerging.....Venkys know nowt about owt to do with football and should feck off, taking the deluded one with them.

The press still aren't getting it!

Blackburn Rovers

Where do you start to sum up Blackburn's season? Owners that are nowhere to be seen, a manager that has serious issues with delusion and a set of fans that spent more time protesting than supporting - it was hardly surprising to see Rovers relegated.

It's a little harder to know who to blame, however. For starters, no matter what the fans say, there is no way that their actions this season could have helped the team and you have to wonder whether Rovers could have survived without the protests.

However, they had good reason to protest and, with the Venky's rarely seen in Lancashire, fans will argue their chants and rallies pre, during and after games was the only way to get themselves heard. It's certainly hard to argue that the owners made countless mistakes which they showed no signs of learning from.

A trickier subject is Kean. He has acted as the owners' mouthpiece this season and some of the stuff he has come out with has been disrespectful, deluded and often plain laughable.

However, he could hardly speak out against his bosses and I have to say I thought he handled himself with a fair amount of dignity under the circumstances. In fact I still maintain he'd have been a contender for Manager of the Season had he somehow managed to keep Rovers up.

But ultimately he didn't and so the Scot must take his share of the blame for what has been one of the most disastrous seasons in the club's history.

Nick Harris has replied saying... "I think 1% chance SK leave club. Maybe 25% chance he stays & moved to role with diff title 'football director.' 74% stays same"

Moving on isn't good enough, we need this toilet OUT.

Whether he's director of football, manager, cleaning lady, it's irrelevant. Whilst he is still employed by the club his vile stench will be apparent everywhere.

Coco will only permit the PR prat as CEO if he (Coco) is still the only one to report direct to Pune where the, alleged, owners of BRFC reside.

Coco is busy building his own little fifedom and will seek to strenghten his position not weaken it.

The, alleged, ermmmm.... friendship between the FS in Pune and Mrs Coco can only help the 'Family' cause.

So 99% sure he's staying with Rovers.

Not shocked.

What have we done to deserve this, seriously?
