[Archived] Steve Kean's Future Set To Be Discussed

The silence from all the guilty parties is strange. The owners and Kean have, in the past, proved themselves to be utterly indifferent to the feelings of the fans. Kean could hardly contain himself last week when informing us all of his continued, "long-term" presence at the club. One would have thought that any one of the charlatans infesting the place wouldn't have been able to hold his wad in the event that nothing had changed.

I agree completely with you Kendalrover but you have to admit, Sacking Kean would be a MASSIVE step in the right direction.

It would be but it is just the first step, they need to then appoint a CEO and empower the Executive team to make decisions, and NEVER ever allow the situation again where the manager had more power/influence than the Board.

But like I said wait for confirmation. Also if Kean is involved in any capacity regardless of what he is doing then that is a big negative, he would constantly undermine the new manager and continue to poison the club.

What has Orr done?

What has Orr done? He 'made himself available' to Sky after the Wigan game and proceeded to 'speak for the dressing room', criticise those fans who protested and praise Steve Kean as the best coach he's ever worked with. All this was carried off without an apology for that relegation business.

Perhaps those posters having a go at our Scandinavian fans not knowing who Brett Lee is could tell us who Ole Einar Bjoerndalen is (without using google)?

Surely got to be a long distance skiier or something like that?!

I don't think anyone has had a go at our Scandinavian fans

for not knowing who Brett Lee was. I certainly was only p1ssing about when i said about people not knowing who he was

Agreed. Hopefully this is a lesson for them. Rid the club of any connection with SEM/Kentaro/Anderson and entrust proper footballing people to make the operating decisions of the club.

Hopefully you can provide the confirmation soon.

I would also like to thank yourself Kamy and other people who have shared whatever knowledge they have. The last few days/nights have been excrutiating but i appreciate any snippet of info you guys can provide. We are all fans at the end of the day and i'm sure if other posters were in the same position they would do the same thing.

Should Kean be still at Ewood in any capacity after the last 18 months, then l still won't buy a season ticket. Alternatively, if he is given the reigns on some Indian pie in the sky academy in some dust bowl training kids who wouldn't make the Blackburn town team, l'll be there next season.

Like it's been said before, this is Venky's and they haven't got a feckin clue.

Not a chance, wait until the lying VENKYS have gone before you get a ST

doesnt matter to me obviously i want them gone but just being able to back the team on matchdays and get manager fans and players all in it together is enough for me for now. if the rumours true ill be at ewood same day ordering my Sts

Kamy said there's no comment from SEM. I'm just imagining the scene there; phone ringing endlessly, Keano crying his eyes out on Jerome's shoulder...

"I told her you can't be relegated from the Championship, there's no way, and I got Junior to sign a 100 year contract, but then, but then..."

"It's alright Stevie, take a deep breathe. Lick your lips. Then what did the nasty lady do to you?"

"And I made all them nice goals happen. She never even thanked me for finding Phil Jones out back by the bins, waaaah...."
