[Archived] Steve Kean's Future Set To Be Discussed

Brett Lee is huge in India...perhaps bigger there than he is here in Australia. It seems everything he touches turns to gold over there in Indians eyes. Hopefully this stays conistent with his teet :)

Kamy said there's no comment from SEM. I'm just imagining the scene there; phone ringing endlessly, Keano crying his eyes out on Jerome's shoulder...

"I told her you can't be relegated from the Championship, there's no way, and I got Junior to sign a 100 year contract, but then, but then..."

"It's alright Stevie, take a deep breathe. Lick your lips. Then what did the nasty lady do to you?"

"And I made all them nice goals happen. She never even thanked me for finding Phil Jones out back by the bins, waaaah...."

Kamy, mate obviously your busy playing Max Payne, but on a 1-10 scale (10 being 100%) roughly how right is this Brett 'what's Cricket?' Lee rumour?

It is a well informed rumour that has been confirmed by other very reliable people, so as rumours go it would be 10. But with Venky's anything is possible so that is why I am urging caution, obviously if one of the inner circle confirm then it changes things, but it is becoming pretty obvious something has happened, particularly as SEM sources are totally quiet which is very unusual.

I have heard that he is has rejected the academy role, but again that is unconfirmed, for me knowing what I do about the going on's over the last 18 months it is key that Kean is not involved in any capacity or he'll continue to cause problems.

But at the risk of sounding like a broken record I urge caution.

Now time to get back to Bulletime!

Hopefully this stays consistent with his teet :)

Not sure want anything to do with Brett Lee's teets thank you :P

So if hes rejected an academy role (thank god) then Venkys have to pay him off, is this why there is a delay because they now have to find the money to pay him off.

Seven days was mentioned previously is this when the TV/premier league money comes into the club.

What price for Kean's story in the press? He's fooked for earning money from football.

There's no story to tell surely? Ironically he called a proven manager a ###### crook, claimed he diiscovered Phil Jones, and perhaps even more significantly a lot of the Press backed him, only for him to show his true colours in that YouTube clip. I'm not sure there's anyway back for him from that at all. He's a fraud with friends in high places.

As you say Ewoodb, I'd be staggered if he works in football again in this country. He's become a complete embarrassment (incredibly almost over night) to the establishment and the events of last week have left a lot of people, who very publicly backed him, with egg (oh look, a pun) on their faces. That doesn't go down well.

So Eric Black is caretaker until a new manager comes in....But who wants to be rovers manager?

Eric Black. He's already flying out to Pune to find out what's going on and will be installed as caretaker tomorrow (and later he'll be given the job permanently). "It's the biggest budget we've had in years" he'll say.

*I have just made this up now.

I can see Kean maybe go abroad to Portugal again....taking on some non league team and drinking beers on the coast enjoying Rovers pay off money, illegitimate !

Nice one and good luck on Max Payne. I enjoyed the first one.

Anyway.

Will the Rovers fans come in for more stick from SKY/Talksports for Kean losing his job.

From certain pundits.

But Adrian Durham and Andy Gray have support the fans.

Durham has said that Kean was out of his depth for ages. Prove him right and Alan Brazil wrong.

I can just picture the headlines - Ewood fans drove me to the brink of suicide.

Would be worth a few quid I bet.

Can see that coming down the line.

WELL TOUGH SH#T COCO!!!!

The most important qualification for a new manager is that he is not a client of Anderson/SEM/Kentaro. If he is, we're still being bled dry by the parasites and good as it feels to see Kean go, it will be an empty victory.

Sven - washed-up, yesterday's man - no thanks

Robinson - maybe

McCarthy - almost yesterday's man - no thanks

Davies - you are joking

Clark - maybe

Hoddle - too far north for him

Freedman - maybe

Surprised that you haven't mentioned Uncle Claudio !? - again, no thanks
