We have had this request from Tom Reynolds of The Green Soccer Journal. Please contact him directly as per below.

The Green Soccer Journal is an independent, international football magazine. We are trying to acquire some of the homemade protest banners that are used during matches for an editorial piece in the next issue.

These banners are seen in the media and really show how the fans have an important say in how a football club is run. The point of the piece is to show that the supporters still have power over their club, by exhibiting these influential banners.

For more information on the magazine please visit www.thegreensoccerjournal.com.

Or to contact us directly concerning your homemade banners please email [email protected].

I'd hope some of you keep them and give them an airing at the Bamber Bridge 'funeral'. This could be the last chance of major airtime for a long, long time.

Do you know when the funeral is?
