Ewoodbhappy Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 We'll them Rovers fans that filmed the keaning idiot deserve a pat on the back. I'd buy that man a drink for putting that Kean through this embarrassing, costly saga, good effort chaps.Just wish they had released it earlier. After that Bolton match would have been ideal.
Stuart Posted January 9, 2013 Posted January 9, 2013 http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/20944444"Kean's representatives SEM Group said a settlement had now been reached, but the terms were confidential. SEM added that Kean would also be making a public statement on the matter." ...in the next 24 hours?
Gav Posted January 9, 2013 Posted January 9, 2013 ...in the next 24 hours? People that tell fibs tend to stick together, but we'll see what transpires.
yoda Posted January 9, 2013 Posted January 9, 2013 Just read this on the BBC and thought it can't be can it Exeter car chase driver was 'escaping aliens'A driver who has schizophrenia rammed a police car during a chase across Exeter to escape from aliens, a court heard.

Not me, mate- this time... I wonder if I might bump into any particular ex-Rovers players/ "friends of the Rao family" on my next trip into Exeter. Needless to say I won't be going to St James Park to watch ecfc now that my ticket money will be contributing to the Anderson family fund. ...in the next 24 hours? !! "SEM have put together an excellent statement for the lad and are expecting him to sign it any moment now...."

LDRover Posted January 9, 2013 Posted January 9, 2013 I think this statement is filed alongside the apology for relegation and the statement confirming Junior Hoilett's new contract.
MrT Posted January 9, 2013 Posted January 9, 2013 that video is still funny, what a Kean head he was and is!
Reedy You're A Star Posted January 10, 2013 Posted January 10, 2013 It's not all doom and gloom, least we're not seriously discussing hiring Steve Kean: http://v2.barnsleyfc.org.uk/showthread.php?181858-Steve-Kean&p=1238337&mode=linear#post1238337

I still wouldnt wish him on Burnley.
Backroom DE. booth Posted January 10, 2013 Posted January 10, 2013 It says on the BBC article that Kean is going to make a statement on it. No doubt it will be the fans' fault again. Nah, not enough dew on the glass. Originally Posted by Jimbob Blackburn gone downhill since he left. J*B Posted January 10, 2013 Posted January 10, 2013 How can any fans be so in the dark about this man STILL, that they're making a case for him to join their club. Mental, utterly mental.
JMillZz Posted January 11, 2013 Posted January 11, 2013 I feel for the genuine fans of whoever he joins, however a lot of people out there deserve this cretin. There were too many people badmouthing Rovers fans for our "terrible treatment" of poor Stevey. I would love to see him go to their club, make a complete balls up of everything and for them to sit through his interviews and listen to him lie constantly. Then we would see what they thought of him then.
cwspellowe Posted January 11, 2013 Posted January 11, 2013 Re: Steve Kean? steve kean went behind big Sams back hence libel damages he is the last we want here. Imagine going behind The Don,s Back At least ONE of their fans has a brain..
Andy Posted January 11, 2013 Posted January 11, 2013 To be fair, Barnsley are the Burnley of South Yorkshire. I spent a few years over that way and this is definitely the case. If they're naive enough to want Kean, let them have him. They'll be the ones in League 2 in 2 years...
Mercer Posted January 16, 2013 Posted January 16, 2013 /Any news on king rats statement A bit here. Kean's counsel apologises in court: http://www.itv.com/news/granada/2013-01-16/sam-allardyce-accepts-substantial-damages-over-crook-slur/ A few papers including The Independent now publishing today's story.
Andy Posted January 16, 2013 Posted January 16, 2013 What about the weasel's apology to the fans for unrivalled incompetence, lies and spin? ...won't be holding my breath.

Mercer Posted January 16, 2013 Posted January 16, 2013 Good find mercer, I understand his representatives are also supposed to be making a statement Would be surprised if they do !
OJRovers Posted January 16, 2013 Posted January 16, 2013 He'll probably go on Opera the week after Lance Armstrong to confess all.
Guest Norbert Posted January 16, 2013 Posted January 16, 2013 More likely he'll be interviewed by Alan Nixon and say he had an impossible situation at Blackburn, fans were behind him etc. and Venky's cut him down when they paniced about the 1% of fans and so on.
