Lakeland Blue Posted May 31, 2012 Posted May 31, 2012 Have been a lifelong Rovers fan and 'life' has got in the way of me being able to have a season ticket and attend all home games. Made it to four games last season and didn't see us win once! One of these games was the infamous Bolton match and I really began to sense what's been going down at Ewood as I hadn't been attending as regularly as before. I have been a keen observer of BRFCS in recent months and now feel the urge to post again. (formerly wakefieldblue) Always keen to make contact with other 'Rovers' in the Lake District. Willing to travel to some away games (when my somewhat complicated family committments allow!). I will not be attending Ewood next season other than for the Burnley game. Have frequented all areas of Ewood in the past and I'm a former Season Ticket holder in Blackburn End and Riverside to. I believe that things will have to get worse for Rovers before they get better and hope that we will 'survive' this terrible period in Rovers long established history. Curiously, and whilst it breaks my heart to see what is happening, part of me senses that some of the old virues of being a fan will return once we rid ourselves of our current owners. I have been touched and impressed by much of the good work that is being done by so many to 'look out' for our great Club. Long live BRFC. Quote
