majorstyre Posted June 8, 2012 Posted June 8, 2012 Noticed on Sky Sports that Steve bruce has been apointed manager at Hull today would it be logical to assume that eric Black will jump ship to join up with Brucey yet again..?.... If that is the case who would we want? Is this the role hendry is being lined up for?....

Stuart Posted June 8, 2012 Posted June 8, 2012 In his profession, not a Rovers fan, I'd be amazed if he doesn't leave.
davulsukur Posted June 8, 2012 Posted June 8, 2012 I agree Hendry will most likely be offered the gig.
jim mk2 Posted June 8, 2012 Posted June 8, 2012 If that is the case who would we want? No 2 is irrelevant and not going to make one iota difference to our fortunes while we are still saddled with No 1 and his paymasters.
Backroom Tom Posted June 8, 2012 Backroom Posted June 8, 2012 Hendry would be yet another nail in this coffin
Veevs Posted June 8, 2012 Posted June 8, 2012 Knowing Venkys Serbgeth (sounds a bit like a bad guy in a tolkien book) 'Shebby' Singh will get the nod as our number 2 and Hendry will take over from Cannon or Bowyer (after all we can't have people who are actually any good/experienced at their jobs that would be FAR to unvenky like). If that is the case who would we want? lol irrelevant.. anyone who could do the job is immediatly ruled out... but in a perfect world I would of loved to of seen Salgado given a go.

The closest Salgado will ever get to Kean is if Kean becomes an ingredient in Michels Paella, that will make him truly sick!!
Makey11 Posted June 8, 2012 Posted June 8, 2012 Odds on the bodyguard taking the number 2 job. wow now that would be a rise in fortunes, from being a door man at TK Maxx to bodyguard, to stadium security manager to assistant manager all in 2 years or so! Its bad that i generally wouldn't be surprised if this happened.
Pedro Posted June 8, 2012 Posted June 8, 2012 Let's just pretend that we are suddenly at a well run club and can expect someone loved by all like Tugay to take the role.
chaddyrovers Posted June 8, 2012 Posted June 8, 2012 Bruce will have to work with the Current coaching staff there as the Hull City owners will not paid off their current coaching staff there!!!
AllRoverAsia Posted June 8, 2012 Posted June 8, 2012 No 2 is irrelevant and not going to make one iota difference to our fortunes while we are still saddled with No 1 and his paymasters. Heads in sand?
Mattyblue Posted June 8, 2012 Posted June 8, 2012 So it'll be 4 assistants in 16 months, always one constant though...
thenodrog Posted June 8, 2012 Posted June 8, 2012 Colin Hendry has nothing to offer. His useful days ended when he hung his boots up.
Baz Posted June 10, 2012 Posted June 10, 2012 Colin Hendry has nothing to offer. His useful days ended when he hung his boots up. To Kean he represents a great patsy though, someone to blame, and also someone to put in front of the fans when times are tough. I also beleive Kevin Gallacher is currently doing his coaching badges too, despite claiming a few years ago he wanted to work in the media and not coaching. Another possible no.2 in the same mould?

I think Gally has been very openly critical of the current regime so would really doubt that one Baz.
Ferrit Posted June 10, 2012 Posted June 10, 2012 Steve Kean will take it. He can handle both, no problem.
