SAS Posted August 1, 2012 Posted August 1, 2012 Had a chance in women's TT but came 6th and 10th. I think Froome could be a surprise medalist.

JAL Posted August 1, 2012 Posted August 1, 2012 What the (Please don't use that word again) are you smoking? Do you actually read what you are typing? It certainly needed explaining further thus i've deleted the post.
Paul Posted August 1, 2012 Author Posted August 1, 2012 Well looks as the cyclists have f*cked up again. Bronze or silver for Froome and gold for Wiggins unless he falls off.
Salgado Is A Hero Posted August 1, 2012 Posted August 1, 2012 Wiggins wins the gold with Froome getting the bronze.....that's more like it.
Paul Posted August 1, 2012 Author Posted August 1, 2012 Gold for Wiggins - 42 seconds ahead of the rest Bronze for Froome Well done lads

Salgado Is A Hero Posted August 1, 2012 Posted August 1, 2012 Wiggo show the way to go ! Brilliant. How do you feel now Mr Cavendish ? It's almost impressive how you can turn any positive into a negative.
T4E Posted August 1, 2012 Posted August 1, 2012 It's almost impressive how you can turn any positive into a negative. The mark of a career bellend.
Backroom Tom Posted August 1, 2012 Backroom Posted August 1, 2012 Don't know why people continue to entertain him myself
Clitherover Posted August 1, 2012 Posted August 1, 2012 Best thing I've seen in the Olympics so far, what a legend Wiggins is. Well done Froome as well, definitely going to be a star. I think Froome could be a surprise medalist. Just spotted that. +1
Aberdeen Blue Posted August 1, 2012 Posted August 1, 2012 A true sporting great in one of the toughest around. Well done Wiggo!! An "adopted" Lancashire lad too
jim mk2 Posted August 1, 2012 Posted August 1, 2012 Some good quotes from Wiggins: "There was only one colour today and anything else would've been consolation. The most important statistic is number four (Olympic gold medals) and not number seven (Olympic medals)." Great to hear from a Briton; wish we had more of them. Wiggins should retire now because how does he follow this ?
koi Posted August 1, 2012 Posted August 1, 2012 Don't know why people continue to entertain him myself Me neither, trolls wont go anywhere whilst food is available.
MarkBRFC71 Posted August 1, 2012 Posted August 1, 2012 It's almost impressive how you can turn any positive into a negative. Never thought I'd see the day we found a sport Jim knew less about than football. Clearly cycling is it.
koi Posted August 1, 2012 Posted August 1, 2012 Never thought I'd see the day we found a sport Jim knew less about than football. Clearly cycling is it. Well he knows about monthly cycles..
Beta Ray Bill Posted August 1, 2012 Posted August 1, 2012 Michael Jamieson in the 200m breastroke for silver was an amazing performance. Only lost out to a new World Record.
jim mk2 Posted August 1, 2012 Posted August 1, 2012 Michael Jamieson in the 200m breastroke for silver was an amazing performance. Only lost out to a new World Record. Great swim from him, so close to gold. Generally though we don't do as well in the pool as we should for a population of our size. Hopefully more medals to come, perhaps from Adlington and in the relays. Never thought I'd see the day we found a sport Jim knew less about than football. Clearly cycling is it. Astonishing statement from someone who celebrated the departure of Sam Allardyce.
M-K Posted August 1, 2012 Posted August 1, 2012 Looking forward to watching 20-stone judo monster Teddy Riner on Friday. Wish I wasn't at work though - it's on during the day and I bet the BBC show minimal highlights.
SAS Posted August 2, 2012 Posted August 2, 2012 13 finals out of 14 for britains rowers. 2 medals out of 2 finals so far...
T4E Posted August 2, 2012 Posted August 2, 2012 The GB men's four and men's and women lightweight double sculls teams all won their semi finals this morning, and Rebecca Adlington just qualified fastest for the 800m freestyle final tomorrow night - plenty of gold potential amongst that lot. 3 rowing finals coming up, the men's lightweight fours we have a great chance in, men's lightweight double sculls and women's eights will be tough but still got a chance of a medal in each of them. Looking strong for team GB now, we should go shooting up the medal table in the next 3 days.
