htfc_m Posted June 23, 2012 Posted June 23, 2012 Hi there, Huddersfield fan here, I am trying to get in touch with a former Blackburn and Huddersfield player. Could anyone help me out with the whereabouts of Jim Branagan who played during the 80's? Does anyone know where I can contact him or locate him?? Please help me out! And look forward to playing you next season, will be a good game. HTFC_M

bob fleming Posted June 23, 2012 Posted June 23, 2012 Pretty sure he lives in Spain now. He's put a bit of weight on as well apparently. Sorry I can't be any more help than that.
Ozz Posted June 23, 2012 Posted June 23, 2012 Last I heard off Mick Cahill, Branagan was he was in Spain too. But that was a few years ago. Try Costa Del Crime.

folkdevil Posted October 15, 2012 Posted October 15, 2012 There's no link for this yet but if you buy today's Telegraph there's a picture of him now. He's working at Tesco in the Manchester area. If you saw him now you would not believe it is him.

princes town Posted October 15, 2012 Posted October 15, 2012 chastening to see how little the lads earned then so you can understand the testimonial idea. JIm was solid player in a great defence and was very honest. My abiding memory was when he saluted the Riverside after a goal against Oldham at Christmas. I think the game ended 2-2. 1982 i recollect. Happy memories
McClarky Posted October 15, 2012 Posted October 15, 2012 He's hardly changed a bit ! Jim Bran, Faz, Killer, Baz. Happy, less complicated, days. What a back 4. Iconic in our history, especially when backed up byTerry Gennoe.
